Seabass Letter
Posted by Dan Bolas in Interfering With Play on Fri 29 Feb 2008
This is the letter i have written to Seabass, using e-mails and comments from members of this site. The letter will be sent on Tuesday 4th March 2008, so any errors noticed, or things that i have completely missed out should be commented on at the bottom before then.
“Firstly, thank you for taking time out your busy schedule to read this letter. I am writing on behalf of PESGaming.com, a very popular online Pro Evolution Soccer community that has been running for a number of years, and a website in which I personally write a weekly column, titled Interfering With Play. Since the release of next generation PES2008, and following your own personal comments regarding the game, the community has joined together to offer suggestions and ideas for the future of PES. These views are not just my own, but are of hundreds of gamers based all over Europe, and in some cases the United States of America.”
“Most people over hear see PES as a certain purchase come the end of the year, and each year, it very rarely disappoints. As far as a football game, the realism and game play is better than anything currently available on the market, and over the past few years, the graphics have started to equal other sporting titles out there. With that said, this years offering, especially as it was the first multi format next generation release, failed to live up to the hype many people had created. The game is definitely not a bad game, by any stretch of the imagination, and still is played by many gamers, but after a number of weeks of playing it, each has raised many of the same points, and PESGaming.com decided to unite together and give the hundreds and indeed thousands of regular visitors a voice, hopefully one that may influence some of your future game making decisions.”
“Pro Evolution Soccer as a game has always been the football fans choice, and not been particularly favoured by arcade based gamers looking for a quick fix. The next generation audience have felt that the latest offering of PES is far too quick, and that it almost falls into the unrealistic category. Football can be played as a build up game, with long stringing passing moves, and this is something PES has always been excellent at. The speed of the game is something that could definitely be addressed for the next offering of the game. ”
“One of the biggest complaints from every gamer who has played PES is the lag that everyone has experienced at one stage or another. To Konami’s credit, patches have been released to rectify the problem offline, however many gamers won’t even play the game online. With the whole emphasis of the next generation being online gaming, and bringing the gaming community together, lag free gaming is almost as crucial as being able to play multi player on the same system. The potential for online tournaments is massive, and marketing opportunities from having a successful online community are immeasurable. Couple this with the huge social networking culture currently running wild, and the sky is truly the limit. Gamers would take pride in their profile, which could be used to display their best goals and track records, and would be happy to keep up their rankings in order to be entered in to big money, sponsored tournaments. Add to this the ability to create your own leagues with mates, and you could have a thriving online community, with very little effort on your own part. I am sure you are aware of the potential for this, but this is also what a great deal of gamers want to see and experience, and PES is the one place they would love to do it.”
“The commentary aspect is something that has greatly improved over the past few years, and many Pro Evolution fans now claim it to be the best available. However, with so many next generation console owners having a wealth of MP3s stored on their systems hard drives, surely the option of allowing custom play lists during menu screens would be both practical and time saving on your part.”
“The game modes featured in PES are all very popular, but surely with the capabilities of Blu Ray and HD DVD disks, more modes could be included. Modes such as an indoor mode of 5 a side, or a 7 a side mode, both styles of football that are very popular in the U.K would add slightly more variety to the game, and would also attract more of a casual audience, who maybe are not looking to play through lots of league or cup competitions, and are slightly overwhelmed by the hundreds of players on offer. More players and teams, will be welcomed by most PES fans though, and whilst many admit that the Master League is one of the best modes in any current computer game, simple things could be done to make the experience more realistic. One of the biggest gripes is the use of points, when currency, even if its fictional currency would add to the realism. Also, making the option to train your players slightly more in depth, even with the possibility to work on set plays in training, triggering runs that then can me made during the following week’s matches. The whole argument most players base this on is that PES has potential to be a massive game, but lacks both the variety of game modes or the sheer number of teams to attract those gamers who are more concerned with quick fix football.”
“One thing most gamers, including myself, can not understand is why every year something seems to be removed from PES, after having a successful year. Features such as the in depth edit mode with pixel editor for logos, random selection mode, the ability to base copy players, the PES shop, the ability to swap shirts and shorts to give different kit combinations and the ability to play a penalty kick match. These modes were all exceptionally popular, and all would be heartily welcomed back into the next Konami football offering. The edit mode in particular is a huge loss for many gamers. Everyone understands that licenses cost a lot of money and sponsorship deals are not that easy to come by, so the ability to make the logos and strips for yourself is crucial. Most people have not invested in the camera for their console, and even then 8 spaces is far to few. This can be taken further, with the ability to customise managers, referees or even a stadium editor, as a way of getting around the licence problem, whilst still giving gamers the most realistic football experience around.”
“I will say again, these views are not just of myself, but are the views collected from gamers all over the world, and have been sent to me in the form of hundreds of e-mails since the start of 2008. The game play and fundamentals of Pro Evolution Soccer are still there, but now as it is a next generation game, many of the above features would be most welcomed by the PESGaming.com public.”
“We ask that the next PES offering is completely lag free, be it online or offline, and maintains the high standards set in previous versions, and keeps the top quality game play that has seen the title stand the test of time, albeit with a slightly slower tempo!”
“Thank you very much for your time reading the letter, and we hope that some if not all of the ideas have offered some kind of inspiration towards the next title. I personally can be reached on danbolas@hotmail.com, and will be more than willing to discuss these issues further if you wish. The website I write for and the home of many of these brilliant ideas, is www.pesgaming.com.”

congratulations very nice letter!! hope seabass uses it!
tell him to shove the last game pes2008 up his arse and give our money back
money back i agree
one thing i dont get, if they can license the spanish, italian, dutch and french leagues, why can’t they do it for the premier league, having a fully licensed premier league would MAKE the game for me, its just annoying that it aint happend yet
in the 1st major para it should be over here not over hear. thought you’d want the correct english
Good letter. I feel the big points are all here. For me personally the most important points are the ones regarding just purely factual real-world aspects, like the game speed. PES2008 is too quick, I just wish they would stick to reality. We all love football, so just emulate that as closely as possible.
I wouldn’t mind something about analog support for aiming and such mentioned, since I am starting to get fed up with the whole concept of having to rely on autoaim to be able to strike longpasses in more than 8 directions. The Wii version broguth some nice ideas, now incorporate them.
But yeah, good job mate. :)
Nice letter but two things there need to be addressed:
1- There is no more HD-DVD. Blue-ray has won the war.
2- There is no need for indoor or any other format of football. Lets not ask too much. Tell them to give us the real football and that is it.
is there gonna be any difference between pes released in europe to the one in the states
you cant ask for them to slow the game down and also ask for 5 a side soccer which is alot faster
u need to ask for the sound of the football crowd…the creates more excitment n last minute goals…more noise…player reactions..etc n betta keepers to parry ball away 4rm the goal when saving
master league need to have a enuogh teams for one country to fill div 1 and 2 its just annoying plsy a randam team whwn im trying to playa full english league
also bring back the training challange mode i loved that
@emoevo
they do ave all the eng clubs but its only they gt wrong names but there is enough 2 fill up the masterleague u asshole!!
in terms of it too fast, do you mean the players speed?with c.Ronaldo people don’t use his skill they just press the sprint button and he’s away.If you mean the actuall game play i feel its ok, in fact it could be faster if ball boys brought the ball back without a break in play and if you didn’t have to wait for the damn whistle for a free kick.
No need for 5 a side.
I would like to see more licensed teams, especially the ones in the Premier League, but I am not sure whether that’s realistic and not just Bayern Munich from the German league.
Player control. It can’t be that hard for it to work out who I want to take control of. It could be who goal side is or who could get the ball the quickest, not necessarily who is closest.
Goalkeepers are still crap. The keeper running out for no reason after a bye kick…
Difficulty inconsistent: In master league the weakest teams will score from any chance or free kick or corner they get on the highest difficulty when they need to. Surely the difficulty should come from the AI of the opposition? It’s very disappointing to see the computer very clearly cheating in goal chances on the highest difficulty. When something weird happens like the keeper flapping an easy shot over the bar or wide it blatantly obvious that the computer’s going to score from the corner. I can take the computer getting better when there losing or attacking more and putting me under pressure, I just hate that my players suddenly go crap, don’t pass properly and to the wrong players, STILL. Or when your attacking and suddenly there players come to you,(teamvision doesnt exist) foul you then the free kicks given to them.
Penaltys- Oh my god I still can’t believe this hasn’t been sorted, they should only be saved and never go wide or over the bar, it’s totally unfair. I understand the fact that the game could go on forever but at least it’s fair, and isn’t football about fair play? It’s god to think you won a match against a friend by guessing the correct way ffs.
From free kicks it should be easier to do a short pass to one of your players. Quite often it will try to pass to the incorrect player and be cut out, maybe you should be able to control around and players not actually taking the free kick. Oh and you have to wait for the flaming whistle??? It feels so unnatural, it’s late in a game and your losing, and it’s in your natural instinct to get on with it quickly.
Bring back the random selection match and home&away feature.
A very well put together letter you have there.
Why do the players control like tanks in the game. They need to be more manouverable and not so sluggish. Also, ground passing should be far quicker - it feels like the players are kicking a stone around the pitch.
Other than that, I feel the game is pretty good, although I’m positive that the computer cheats quite a bit - especially on top player.
All the best regarding the letter.
Nice letter. I agree with the fact that it has an “arcade” feel to it which doesn’t do any justice. I think they also need to improve the ball physics (it annoys me when for instance you take a free-kick and, if it ricohets off the wall, it ricohets out for a throw-in, annoying!!!!!!). Goalkeepers definitely need to be improved. My brother has a specialty of scoring directly from corner kicks (ALL THE TIME!!!) whereby the keeper jus’ parries the ball into the net (that’s silly).
This is by far the worst PES game ever. I prefer the PS2 version but that annoys me aswell.
It’s a good letter though overall, well done.
I think it is great that you’ve taken the time to put together such a representative letter and I hope Konami appreciate it.
However I think an issue like the indoor 5/7 a side option is a bit of a red herring.
Wouldn’t we all rather Konami concentrate on bigger issues such as the lag, and lack of edit options.
Also, please, please, please could you put something in about improving the crowd reaction for important goals and also the fact that we would love them to get rid of the fade to black screens. This should now be possible on the next generation consoles. If Rockstar can manage without loading screens for GTA why can’t Konami for PES? Having ball boys and players retrieve the ball and then just play on would be so much more realistic. Thanks mate.
ok i see two mistakes.
1. you siad “hear” instead of “here”.
2. You said “to” instead of “too”
Nice letter. If it helps, here are my views on improvements:
1st more leagues (don’t care if licensed)
2nd better in depth editing including the editing of logos and badges.
3rd Even better graphics, and even more realistic game play (I was pleased with PES 2008’s)
4th More stadiums (at least 40 “blu ray remember?”)
5th penalty kicks are executed like shots (not just in 6 different places.
6th like you said editable managers (for every team) and referees.
7th It’s god damn football, when you score a fuckin’ goal I wan’t to hear the crowd scream, not make some gay noise that has lower DB than the Ref’s wistle.
Put the far side corner camera views back to how it was before PES6.
That is.. CAN WE PLEASE SEE THE GOALMOUTH !!!!
Even longer replay times. It still doesnt capture a full length of the field solo run and goal. Also why is there now only one “folder” for replays.
I collide with the damn referee so often it really is a pain. Make the ref have no physical presence.
No way of choosing which kit to wear in a Master League game is just bizarre!
i feel stats for players can be more accurate,Fabregas and scholes is alot better passer than the stats say,c ronaldo isn’t that fast neither is ibrahimavic.
if you buy young promising players they get better on the master league which is fine, but when i chose my master league for online play there stats go back to normal????what the fuck is that all about??? upon reading the manual this also happens if ,just say if me and you wanted to play against each other in a normal friendly game with our master teams!!!WTF!!!
i wasted 2 and half seasons getting rid off my old players, bought some youngsters for nothing, whats the point in the master league if you can’t play your team against people other than the computer? and then it gets to a stage where its boring playing the computer and far too easy.
apart from the 5 a side bit its a good letter and i agree with everything you’ve wrote and all of comment 13 said
Hi Dan,
Great letter. I saw the same typos as “Anonymous” (post #18), but I must say that your posts over the last weeks and this letter have been a very valuable contribuation to PESGaming.com over the last few weeks. I really hope that Seabass c.s. will take your letter seriously and that they will still be able to address “our” suggestions.
Well done and hopefully we’ll keep on enjoying your weekly newsletter over the next few months.
- Jasperinho
First of all they should bring back most of the features they had in previous games that they left out in PES 2008. Examples: PES Shop, interchangable kits etc..
I think the game needs a whole new graphics engine. The graphics on PES 2008 are only slightly better than the ps2 versions. I want to see a game with graphics worthy of the ps3 gen. One of my biggest gripes is only being able to move in 8 directions. I remember being able to run in 8 directions in an old commodore 64 game I used to have. How many generations ago was that? I think it would greatly add to the gameplay if you could run and pass in any direction you want. The crowd still looks awful. I’ve seen the crowds in the latest NBA games and they look great compared to the 2D crowds on PES.
I bought FIFA and I have to say that it’s still crap compared to PES, although it has gained some ground. PES still feels much better than FIFA. I appreciate all the work Konami have done with pes down through the ps2 years but they need to step up to the plate and come up with a true next gen game the next time. I remember being amazed when I first saw the original Pro Evolution game on the ps2. I would love to see them coming up with something just as ground breaking the next time but I fear it won’t happen. I would prefer if they didn’t release a game this year for the sake of it if it’s not up to scratch.
A promising letter. Is there anyway we could ask for a reply that could be posted on PESgaming? That would be good!
I’d like to see the lower leagues in England represented so that we could have a proper FA cup etc. I support Gillingham (sad I know) but I have to recreate the team using Fifa’s stats. Seems pretty silly given the extra space on Bluray discs.
Also if there is any chance of buying January transfer updates, through sony shop or xbox live that would be good. That way they get more money and we have up to date squads both offline and more importantly online.
Nice letter. But i think that You should mention what keepers
sholud be more realistic. It`s extreamly anoying when they meke stupid mistakes., thay should have more animations and react like Cech,Boruc.
Also penalties should be like shoot with power bar. And things like C.Ronaldo goes with ball all field is also unrealistic. Others things like points in ML and things said before are also true. And should be mentioned in letter.
Your letter needs to emphasize the need for a variation of goal nets. One of the first things I noticed in my first play of the game was how gorgeous the nets were. However there are the same nets in EVERY stadium - last time I checked, not every pitch has the same goalmouth.
Another gripe I have is something that SHOULD be simple but somehow PES2008 manages to mess it up; grass. The PES2009 team needs to take a serious look at some of the best pitches (Emirates, San Siro, Anfield, etc) and replicate their carpet-like textures….not every pitch has 20 different shades of green/brown blades of grass.
Come on Seabass, lets keep it simple.
Peace.
Typo: Paragraph 7 - ‘me’ should be replaced with ‘be’
“Also, making the option to train your players slightly more in depth, even with the possibility to work on set plays in training, triggering runs that then can me made during the following week’s matches.”
Suggestions:
I would like to say alot of people from Australia have contributed not just Europe and America.
please mention the outrageous goalkeeper penalty situation
and one last thing a quick free kick should be able to be taken even if the ball isnt in the perfect spot, for instance if the ball is far away a button click could determine if you want the person nearest to the ball to run after it and pick it up and to pass it to the Set Piece taker.
and PLEASE make the online lag a focus because it is truely a major defect and if PES make the same mistake again I for one will make sure it will be the last time I purchase any PES game
Goalkeepers must be better …its to easy to score 1 on 1 if you run a side they yust stop and you have an empty goal… every touch with a player is not a faul …its a man game not a womens dance…please remove that super human abiliti that a player can go thru 6 - 7 players and score …how much you see that in the real life (5 - 6 times in a lifetime!!??)…
Dan
Sorry to be a little critical, but I don’t think your letter is representative of the messages people have been posting to you.
The impression you are giving is that we all think pes2008 is “nice”, but if you wouldn’t mind, can you please add a few little things to make us feel a little bit nicer. Sorry but pes2008 is a joke. Not being able to play it online due to konami doing an incredibly poor job is inexcusable.
Its not like the online play was an accidental addition. It was meant to be a fully working game mode, which quite clearly does not work.
The people who bought pes2008 bought it in good faith. But that goodwill has long gone, since there have been so many ommissions in the pes series since the current-gen versions have been released.
pes6 on the 360 was incredibly poor in relation to the ps2 version. it was rushed out to cash in on the first 360 version, and it is incredibly bare.
We put up with this thinking that they will make amends with pes2008, but did they hell?
A lot of people are mighty pissed off with the rip off that konami have pulled on us, and many of us haven’t bothered to purchase pes2008.
Just to echo a few of the other comments above, HD-DVD has and now never will be used for gaming. So only the PS3 version can provide a more complete version without compromising on storage capacity concerns.
Which may result in different versions of the same game for the big two consoles.
You should ask seabass to run a poll to see if people would return pes2008 for their money back today. He would get the message straight away.
We’re angry, and we want justice!
Dougiedonut
I’m only playing online now and all i want is to be able to have my own team with whoever I want in it without having to spend forever in the ML. Not a lot to ask for.
Well written letter that covers all necessary points brought up without being too long or too commanding (though the 5-a-side might be a bit too much, first let them improve the basis), a big thank you for taken so much time and putting so much effort in this ‘project’, it deserves to pay off.
The added-realsim feel we all want has been prominently expressed in the letter, very good.
To add to that: Master league with eg Serie A & a second division with non-Italian teams is unexceptable, I understand licences are expensive, but if you can get the Spanish & Italian first leagues, why not their 2nd divisions? I hate it when I play master league and AEK Athens pops up in the EPL or Serie A….
And we should be able to create ANY format of tournament. It’s insane we can’t create a Champions League, purely because the home/away feature is only available in knock-out tournaments, not in group & ko-tournaments. It’s such a bumper to play each team once, it takes away 50% of the realism (for me at least).
ps: I assume we’ll get updates when (or should I say if ;-)) Konami replies?
Dan, you have obviously put a lot of time and effort into this letter and thank you for that. I just think it is far too nicey nicey, PES2008 is CRAP!!….A HUGE LET DOWN…I really think seabass should be made aware of how MOST of us feel and its just not good enough, i know we wont get a refund but i do think we should tell them just how bad this game is.
That whole letter justs beats about the bush.
PES 2008 is not a good game, it is a shit game and in my social circles ABSOLUTELY NOBODY plays it anymore…..they have either went over to FIFA or just dont play a footie game at all (I am eagerly awaiting SWOS)
Whilst all the frills mentioned in the letter would be nice…..the most crucial thing that needs to be acheived is to engineer the games AI back to the kind of state it was in with PES 3. i.e. NO LAME GAMEPLAY EXPLOITS. I dont give two tosses that the game just pings end to end and is totally unrealistic…Infact, I quite like that….but to get your goal you SHOULD HAVE TO BE CREATIVE and experimental, not just try the same old bullshit methods time and time again.
More than anything else, it is the lame exploits that have TOTALLY DESTROYED PES 2008….not the fact they have taken away a few game modes or that you can’t upload your own mp3’s to the games playlist….
Letters like this are giving a false impression to the games developers that they just need to polish up their presentation and tweak the gameplay a bit to create the perfect game when in reality, they are on the verge of losing a huge chunk of their fanbase forever.
Another glaring PES evil that this letter does not touch on is the ‘Cheating AI’ which also interferes with the 2 player game as well. But I wouldnt expect such a superficial letter to touch on such hidden evils as the infamous PES ‘God Mode’.
Nice one but you should emphasise more on the lag issue. You said it once but the offline lag is beyond unacceptable to mention it once…Being unable to watch a highlight replay makes me wonder how could they let it that way… In the online part…well you just cant play online, its as simple as that.We cant save replays in online matches we cant have any sort of teamspeak and i dont bother mentioning the 2vs2…WHY did he even talked about the EDIT MODE??? WHY??The Team Licences is not that “light” issue my friend…I am sure they made a lot more money than FIFA did.So they want more money for them than to invest in their game…There are huge issues in this game and its hard to mention all of them…The bottom line is that we (i hope i`m not the only one) feel cheated…and the most important is that we dont see any sign of remorse from KONAMI…They should have at least apologised and try to make things right with i dont care how many patches or whatever it needs…2 patches after so many months is not the best attitude to the people that made you rich.
p.s.
The patches should fix bugs and details mr Seabass and not make the game playable
Letter is very well written and I agree with the majority of the points. However I think the 5aside mode would be great but is just a tad too much to ask for at this stage. The ability to have a full edit mode (kits, managers, boots and balls?) should be a high request with the lag issues. As I mentioned in the email i sent, the boot edit ability would be a good improvement.
Sorry correction to name.

@emoevo
they do ave all the eng clubs but its only they gt wrong names but there is enough 2 fill up the masterleague u asshole!!
————————————————————-
There are not enough English sides to fill Div 1 & 2. Before you start calling people asshole, try knowing what the fuck you are talking about!
Nice letter (I’d use spellcheck before posting)!
Only thing is, it’s a nice letter! The fact that it is now March 2008 and I do not have a decent next gen PES is still really pissing me off. The letter seems too be just a little too friendly for me. These people have ripped most people off by selling them a broken game (Lag,Lag & Lag), I think you should at least mention how many PES gamers feel about being completely mugged off by Konami.
I agree with previous comments regarding the 5 a side stuff, sod all that, just get the main game right.
@NIKOLAS
I fully agree.
@Dan
I think you need too be a little pissed off before you write the final draft of your letter, the above draft lets Konami off scott free and your comment about “Busy schedule”, well, it’s just a little, no, alot like sucking arse I’m afraid.
The letter overall sounds a little like the guy in the office who has been complaing about he’s boss for weeks and when he has an opportunity to address he’s boss with he’s issues, he says “Oh, could be better”, instead of saying “I need more money, you treat me like shit, I’m bored stupid, I want a promotion”, he then goes on to spend the next 20 years complaining to he’s colleagues and pissing every one off.
You don’t have to be abusive to be stern with people. If I got a letter of complaint from one of my clients, written in the manner of your letter, I’m afraid, I’d probably ignore it, especialy that it mentions the views of “hundreds” of PES gamers, HUNDREDS! Small change I’m afraid.
i think it was in pes5 that there was really the most realistic shooting and i really do miss that, say for instance you were running and off balance and shot the ball would swerve wildly away from goal this doesn’t seem to happen anymore and it is a realistic thing that should be put in
I’m not sure if any one has mentioned this before, but lobs are now impossible to score! On PES5 they were just right, now it is almost impossible to chip the keeper with a L1 style lob shot
what about the injuries u dont see that a lot in the game as well which makes it unrealistic!! i mean u play the same players all time where in real football u have to make changes due to injuries even for long term injuries as well! it make more better and harder cos u got make changes in your team!
does anybody agree! u did not mention this in your letter dan!! how come!
pes 5 was the best and if they dont look at that! then pes will never be as good as that again!
Has anyone else tried playing PES 2008 on PS3 using a PS2 controller??? I tried it for the first time last night and the games (players) controls definitely seem to be a lot more responsive than with a sixaxis. So much so that I’ve started scoring a lot more goals on Top player!! Would be interested if anybody else has found this.
Good letter. Think it’s pretty much spot on with all the major issues/suggestions.
Also, spotted VERY minor error…
‘camera for their console, and even then 8 spaces is far to few’ should be ‘too few’
Well done Dan,
Superb letter!!!
Hopefully they take these points on board and sort the next version out. However the present game as you stated is not that bad but needs tweeking quick!!!

reply to who ever replied to my orig message why you calling me an asshole i no all the english clubs are there and they have the wrong names but if you read what i put there is not enough of them to fill both div 1 and 2 so you have to have 2 foreign teams and rangers and celtic to fill all the places from BOTH leagues if you dont believe me turn on you console and start a master league with div 1 and 2 there arnt enough eng teams for all the places in BOTH leagues so you end up having some shit fireign team getting promoted to the premiership
basically im saying there should be some championchip teams at least and the eqvilent for other leagues
if your only playing a 1 div league then there are enough teams to fill
so before you spouting off calling people asshols get your facts right mate :)
Its ok emoevo, Assache is forever having a go at people. I hear its because hes crap at the game! ;)
Only kidding asshole, sorry assache.
Hey, What’s up Trance?! Now back to topic. . . .
Mr. Bolas, I just want to say, very nice job with the letter. You’ve done so well to include the major points, and yet you gave him a fairly easy read. The worst thing would have been to ramble on about everything that could be added or fixed in PES. You did have the information from all the suggestions you had received, but your letter was concise and right to the point. I also liked that you stressed your source, that this wasn’t coming solely from you, that you got the opinions of hundreds of PES fans. If he wants to get more details, he can always contact you. I am very satisfied with the letter, and I do hope he can read it and consider our suggestions.
the fouls have to be addressed , they are crazy, how often will i be taken down in the box , hard fouls and nothing called, its insane, and god forbid you foul , straight yellow or red . stupid stupid stupid. THis game forces you to not foul and anyone knows real matches have as many as 10 to 15 fouls a game. Look at the stats at the end and many times you finish with 1 or 2 fouls . not realistic at all. this version sucks.
