  5. andymancusa Says:

Does anyone think that as with other PS3 titles such as motorstorm etc that we may be able to download additional content from the playstation store at a later date, for example more grounds, squad updates etc.. Can’t belive they haven’t even got Old Trafford on there thats been part of the game since time began.. I’m gonna hold off judgement till i have had a good couple of days gaming but i have read on alot of other fan sites that fellow gamers are jumping ship without playing it…Must admit i got upset for the first time when reading the stadium lists….

  6. Rob2K_UK Says:

Not a problem, someone will make English staduims for the PC version.

  7. andymancusa Says:

Good shout Rob2k, P.C owners are fairly lucky i guess what with kitserver and all…Luckily i also will be playin on PC aswell as PS3..

  9. gaposto Says:

Dont worry guys…Seabass will tell us that NEXT year all the problems and misses will be fixed, more stadiums will be incorporated, better graphics and new gameplay fetaures. It’s NEXT year that we are going to experience the real next-gen Pro Evo…
Ups… Thats my post after Seabass comments about the mess of a game that PES 6 was for 360…
PES is still the best, although I admit I enjoyed FIFA from the first time since the…3DO years (pre-history), but Konami are lazy and they deserve a spanking to wake up.

wot r u saying konami u weak bastards

  11. Tom Says:

Makes no sense why they leave out all these small things like Stadiums that where there before.

  12. Gary B. Says:

Talk about shooting themselves in the foot, the omens are bad for the future of PES, not happy, Fifa’s ****e and Pes is getting worse

  13. ben thomas Says:

thats just a load of crap no stadiums, how can they not of more stadiums, surely the ps3 would/should have more?

disapointing to say the least and no demo for the ps3 shameful but when it eventually arrives will be spending hours on it.

  14. memph Says:

the ville marie stadium is supposed to be wembley or thats what i have read

  15. Fodick Says:

No English stadiums, the edit mode does not have a lot of kit layers example arsenal home kit looks ****e Liverpool only 2 stripes and so on,well it keeps getting worse and worse what is the point of buying the dam game if it sucks so badly congratulations konami you are the best when it comes to ****ing up PES games!!!

  16. Scamz Says:

no english sdtadium? so were do they expect tottenham and newcastle to play? there the only 2 license english clubs and it would really ruin it if they got assign to a stadium like nou camp or orange arena…no realism what so ever..
bad news just keeps gettin delivered 2 this site about the game which is tempting me to jumo ****..
    god forbid…

  17. Scamz Says:

lmao at my last post..damn keyboard. i meant to say jump ship…deary me

  18. emoevo Says:

    ATT GAPOSTO

seabass told us 360 ownwers that the inprovments would be here this year dont forget we were suposed to have a true next gen game this year on 360 just coz ps3 wasnt out doesntt mean they havent had experience with next gen

i it will still be amazing but fifa is defo catching up with it big style

  19. Anonymous Says:

they had sumfin lyk 26 stadiums in pes6 how can u go from 26 to 15 when u r bringing out the next installment and its on next gen

  20. mikfatang Says:

the proof is in the pudding,no ps3 demo to speak of.just wait until nexy friday and enjoy

  21. Genius Says:

damn where is red cauldron haha i dont actually care about the stadiums right now i jst want to open my ps3 box n play lol

  22. FAT TONY Says:

I’am a Liverpool fan..no anfield ..Wasnt Tetro Blanco (cant b arsed with the spellin’) meant to be Old Trafford on PES 6?? (xbox 360)….

Pro Evoultion might aswell go back to ISS Days and concentrate on International teams.. Pro Evo 5

  23. FAT TONY Says:

PRO EVO 5 was the best football game for me …and before that was ISS world cup 98..on n64..damn it those wer the days

  24. Nedved Says:

I don`t Care as long as the Gameplay is good

  25. nerazzurri88 Says:

To be fair the stadiums are only an aesthetic (spelling?) feature and if ur basing that on your judgement of pro evo 2008 (b4 it even comes out!) then by all means jump ship cause all this negativity is pissing me off. Simple Fact - Pro Evo will be BRILLIANT!, simple ;). Just to clarify, dissapointed about stadiums/kits etc but all minor faults and wont distract from gameplay IMO.

  26. andymancusa Says:

Gameplay is the most important thing by far..But after being treated up till PES6 with an ever expanding load of acurate stadia and liscenced teams surely this is a step backwards..So is it wrong of us to expect if not more progression, Then at the very least to keep what we already had.??

  27. Dancel Says:

this is retarted, you get more disk space and you get less stuff, go figure and all this licensing is ruining pes the more license teams the less reason to put more editing right? do you guys think the face mapping is necessary? to be honest i have fifa 08 on ps3 and anfield and all the english stadiums sings the themes. i think fifa should buy or join forces with konami. just imagine this game, the licensing of fifa and fifpro with the ea graphics + the gameplay and editing of Pes, i dont know about you guys but there is nothing more realistic than that. i will wait for the North american version cause its always different here, last year we got more faces and bugs was fixed.

    Fifa Evolution Soccer 2009 * I wish!

  28. Eclipse Dj Says:

Agree with ‘Fat Tony’ PES 5 was great and it’s kinda taken backwards steps since then. ISS 98 was also a fave of mine, why can’t Konami port and update it for the DS instead of that garbage they gave us last year???

‘Dancel’ - I like the face mapping idea, and I don’t want EA graphics, PES is graphically superior than those freaky looking FIFA players. Proper Stadiums, crowd songs, decent commentary [not bloody “hello I’m Mark Lawrenson and I’m not reading from a script… honest!”] better online modes with co-op play back [4 vs 4 at least] would all be very welcome.

I don’t like when they have the licenced kits and you can’t edit them, they are locked, would prefer to always have the option to edit over all the kits and badges.. and if they can’t get the licences, can’t the teams at-least have their proper city names!? rant over!

  29. Daymo Says:

Yes poor from Konami having only 15 stadia and no english ones. However once Kitserver out and the stadium makers get on the case we will have them all :O)

  30. Dancel Says:

Eclipse Dj - yea the face mapping is the only reason im getting this game :D. but seriously though kitserver is taking stuff from fifa arent they? so if you put the games together you get kitserver.. anyways you know the saying if its not broken dont fix it? well pes6 was broken so it needed to be fixed but looks like they made it worst.

  31. swindellz Says:

the stadiums are gna be the same as on pes6 on ps2 thats shokin thats means arsenal will play at highbury cumon that fkin awful konami this yr are ****e wts goin no qith ur minds!!!

  32. Esh Says:

I have just heard that you cannot drink beer while playing PES2008. If you do, it crashes. DAMM YOU KONAMI!!!

  33. john mcgrady Says:

why is celtic park never on these games? it is easily the best stadiam in europe.

  34. Akeem Says:

Do you guys remember the days of pes3 when dodgy team commentary names like west london blue could be changed to chelsea or east london to west ham. what i dont get is they keep undoing all their good work at konami, even though we have 50 GB of disk space on the bloody ps3! we should have an absolute monster of a game, just can wait for pes2009 rele

  35. Teddy Says:

OMG some of you need help… I can see at least one english stadium there.. Or is manchester not in england now lol.. Anyway who gives, its all about the game!! Go play fifa if you aint happy.

  36. Peter Willis Says:

Which are you referring too Teddy?

  37. OldFirmBlue Says:

    FAO of John McGrady….

Celtic Park is a ****ehole in one of the most poverty stricken areas in Scotland. It doesn’t even have a UEFA Star Rating. For you to say that it’s one of the best in Europe is ludicrous.

There are only 2 stadiums in Scotland that are UEFA 5 Star rated.

    Ibrox(Rangers)and the National Stadium, Hampden.

  38. john mcgrady Says:

what has the area got to do with it. and the only reason its not 5 star rated is because the changing rooms are too small. neither of these would be in the game so your head is up your arse. celtic park is probably the most atmospheric stadium in europe. ibrox doesnt even come close. as for hampden, the least said about that the better.

  39. swindellz Says:

konami r usualy great but this year it sound awfull the option file best be available a hope its standards r as gd as pes6 a hope u can get the ghreat hair cuts and things like boots and kits a reli do hope its great pes 2009 is alredi under construction thats gna be plain awesome!

  40. slb Says:

I think the Konami Stadium look a bit like Wembley, but with blue seets.. And the Teatro Blanco is Stamford Bridge with red seets..
