Play.com have changed the status from ‘Pre-order’ to ‘In stock’ for Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 on all formats. Order as soon as you can before supplies run dry! Let us know how you get on with your order status (you can check your order status in your account page). Remember, by ordering with Play you also automatically get entered into a 50k tournament.

Play told me that even though it is in stock today that the royal mail will not collect from them until monday, so thats when all the games pre-ordered will be dispatched so that it could be with everyone as early as wednesday!

the royal mail do have a back log but they are delivering the new mail first and working their way through the back log as and when they have time.

guys, if u order on Play.com it’ll be out in the shops first and if you don’t order it from Play.com someone else will no doubt get it on Tuesday morning. Its called the law of sods.

play cannot guarantee it you arse. the royal mail deliver, if you complained to play they would say that is out of their hands. as other (sensible) people have said, just wait til friday. i really want the game but would rather just wait til friday and tdef get the game then than leave it to the royal mail and maybe not have it til a week on monday (which it is most likely to arrive due to back log of post).p.s. i work for the post office so i know the rough estimates for delivery and i guarantee you it will not arrive by friday
@32, I’m ordering it online anyway, so why not simply order it online from Play who should be shipping it on Monday anyway, which is better than Amazon shipping it on Thursday.

looks like its only for the consoles, PC version still says “Pre-Order” and my account still says “Pre-Ordered”. Maybe this will change tomorrow, we can all hope eh? Cant wait for this game, played Fifa 2008 PC version and the game is poor on graphics (still using old engine) and editing front, gameplay is ok! Pro Evo is where its at again this year for me :) hope all the anger here is just impatience ;)

I first pre ordered from GAME and they were sayin that there gonna send it out on Friday so I just cancelled that pre-order and bought one from play.com hopefully it will arrive quicker than the GAME mugs
I just contacted Play.com and they are saying that they cant send it out on Monday and that they will have to send it out on Wednesday via First Class post so it should get to us next day not guaranteed because its Royal Mail were talking about. Thursday’s quick enough. What I don’t understand is that some people like Krishan are saying that they have already got an email saying that is been dispatched and now Play are saying that its going to be posted out on Wednesday. Its all confusing shit. Can anyone else confirm that they received a Dispatch email from Play?

The e-mail everyone would have got from Play would have been confirmation that its been passed to the Dispatch team. That doesnt mean that it has been sent. Go to your account on play.com and it will still say “order placed”, not dispatched.
For the record, I got that email in July.
