Despite what some of you may be getting told by Play.com staff, you can rest assured you will have the game by Friday. We have contact with people further up the chain than you will be able to get through to on the helplines and we have been informed that games will be dispatched in good time to arrive for Friday. Some orders have been dispatched today!
OH Man i wanted mine be4 friday , i mean i could glo to the shops and get it be4 the mail comes
Friday is at the latest.

I’m getting my copy right now, but the PC DVD , do I need a Normal or Dual DVD to burn it on? The File Size is 4.95 Gb.
My game has two langauges (Spanish, English) If I remove the Spanish, will it fit in a normal dvd?

I have it!!! I live in Amsterdam and pre-ordered the game a few weeks ago with Bart Smit. They called me yesterday and said they had a copy for me to pick up. In the mad scramble that ensued, I picked it up, dashed home and have been on it since (must remember to eat and sleep at some point)

Folks, quick update: I have been playing PES 2008 on PS3 for 2 days solid now. I must say I’m extremely happy to have it in my possession but I thought the game would have been more convincing in the graphics department. Mind you, it’s still great but after all the hype I thought it’d be better, for want of a better word, but I will be buying a new 37″ HDTV to compliment the game, this week.
However, both graphics and game play have improved ever so slightly so please exucse me while I drag myself off to have yet another game…

Can everyone please shutup, if you are in the UK and you are willing to have a copy of it like me just go to East London To a Area called ILFORD, there is a shop beside the Mall/Shopping Center called “GAMING END”, They have it. Wen i bought it i took there Number for all of you’s so you can all shutup ********. And i bought the PS3 version for 39.99 and they had xbox 360 aswell. Its a great Game, i love it. But i would recommend PS3 version because it supports 7 players to play with your friends and xbox dont only up to 4, and Xbox’s option file is a fuss and will be delayed. Thanks

I am really starting to worry about my order with shopto. Jericho, which has the same release date as pro evo 2008 is in stock! Yet my order for pro evo is still down as a pre order! Just got it in Luton in the shop near HSBC (cant give it away as he has been my early source for years now). The guy has about 8 copies left and he sold it for £40.00 which I thought was pretty decent.

Got 2 on order, 1 with play and 1 with hmv and neither came today rubbish.
I’m happy to say i got mine from play.com this morning! Bad news is i only have a ps2 and so far it’s nothing like next gen versions. New commentary is good but presentation is terrible as ever and there’s no diving. Aslo, loads of missing stadiums like Old Trafford as expected but also none of the new Portugese ones either!
my advice to anyone – dont buy the ps2 version, save up for an xbox!!!

i ordered mine from gameplay a few months back (PS3), it was despatched on tuesday, i got it yesterday, its really good, its very easy on lower difficulties and very fast, higher level you play, the slower it seems to play, which is a lot better. its seems different to the 360 demo its the best one ive played yet.
I spoke to a manager at play to complain. They said they wanted to send copies of the game out early but konami have prevented them from doing so. Play started sending a few out before konami put a stop to it, thats why a lucky few have the game. Everyone will receive it tomorrow i.e. release day.

Slightly worried. People who already have the game are saying there are maasive problems with it on the PS3. Apparently there are hue slowdown problems. Has anyone who has the game experienced these problems?
Peoples view are varying mate, some people say it depends what stadium you play in, some say coreners and replays are the worst time for it and soem say a partial install of the game on your hard drive fixes it, guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
