Konami Release patch for PC v1.1

I have downloaded and installed the patch and have noticed a couple of differences such as better online gameplay the lag has been cut down alot. Also the gameplay seems more smooth and dosnt jerk anymore.

Interesting to see that the patch for the PC version of PES 2008 is the first to be uploaded to the Konami site.
great job… jus loves pes and konami…. they responded as fast as possible though we knew that the first few days of release were negative comments all the way… but we must know that doin these stuff are not as easy as we tink… we jus have to give some time for the guys to show us wat they can do… anyway… PES 2008 - the best ever… :)

Despite installing the latest patch the lagging problem is still there though not as bad as it was prior to the update.
There is a problem with the pitch (360 version), when you have the ball the pitch looks normal but as you look at the other areas of the pitch the grass hasnt loaded until the ball goes to particular that area..any help ppl ?
Its like the same problem with GTA , when the buildings have problems loading when your driving too fast

Secondly i just have to say is the commentating is just a load of “wank”.. Absolute shite,, why dont konami watch a decent match on sky sports and get some ideas,

Yeh Big Dick (not keen on the name) i hav the same problem but i usually dont notice others parts of the pitch when iam on the ball
Lag is still there. I’m going for the halfway line and all of a sudden the ball is in my opponents possession and they have a clear goal……..can i get a big WTF??!!Truely annoying.I have a 1 MB connection,so i hope its not that.Also im getting a save error which i think may be because my main hard drives are I and J not C and D or whatever
It says that it cant install because i havent inserted a disc!? wtf? Do i need to have pes 2008 disc in drive while instaling the patch?

what patch changes? I have one more question. every time when i enter the game it asks me on what level do i want to play! every single time. everything i change in the game i must save and then load every freakin time! Is there no autosave?

I have a BIG Problem.. I have bought the game and installed on my PC. But when i press play or the PES 2008 icon it restarts my computer!! I have tried everything but it keeps restarting my computer!! Then I went on web and found me a Crack, so I installed the Crack and pressed play, and it went in!! VERY STRANGE! But there was nothing ells to do.. I played Online and it was working very fine.. Until (KONAMI) came op with a patch. so I installed the patch but now I cant play Online!! because u have to pres the original Pes 2008 icon! and I press on the fake icon!! Please help I really want to play Online!! and do U have any suggestions because I even went to the store I had bought the game and explained my problems to them but they didn’t no how to help me so they thought it was the Cd´s fault so they gave me a new one! But that didn’t work either..
I also have the PES 6 but that works fine..
Pleas help!!!

Since installing the patch, i have offline lag :|
A player comes in for a tackle and the ball goes one way then teleports (the ball) back to the tackled players feet!
This happens both for and against me in Master League.
My computer is well above recommended spec in all departments and I am running XP in the top widescreen mode (1366 x 768 or something like that). Its a windowed mode.

where the hell is to ps3 patch 4 the lag time as tht is the most needed patch n also WENB need to hurry with the patch they are currently workin on! n the online mode on the ps3 is terrible the ball teleports in a way n is annoying as the whole flow of the match is ruined!
wenb arent makin a patch, they r makin an option file for jerseys etc. its konami who make the patch. u’ll have to download it str8 through ur ps3. any way ps3 blows
I know i am going to sound like a complete twat, but how do you know if the patch has been installed for thePS3 version, i downloaded it and copied to a SD memory card and put it in my PS3, Do I install the patch through system update or through the actual game itself? PLEASE HELP!!!
nah mate the ps3 version wont be out for a while. u wont download it off a pc. when u start the ps3 and connect to the internet in pes it will tell u it needs to download a patch

haha, I know, it is a joke. But with kitserver 7f you can set the resoultion you want. But not with the 1.1 pach, you have to wait for the 7g kitserver.
and then you have to set the resolution in kitservers config.txt
and delete the #
example:

On the pc if anyone is having problems with your PC restarting make sure that you have installed the correct or most up to date directX in some cases it is 9.0c and for some its directx10
