PES 2008 demo finally hits the PS3 network

The game was released a week ago… but the demo has only JUST hit the Playstation3 online network. The demo, which is identical to that which PC and XBox users could try weeks before release, can be downloaded now from the network.
That came a bit late, I was hoping this topic said that there was a patch out, the sooner the better, that’s for sure.
I heard it freezes the PS3 up

Why is it so so late?!! There is totally no purpose at all for the demo to come out after the game was released a week ago… I am really frustrated as i bought ps3 mainly becoz of the PES series… I hope that this is the first and last time Sony is doin this… Makes no sense at all to release the demo after the game had already been officially launched…

When we can play pes2008 for ps3 online,and doese konami exit some patch to fix thise bad game,Ea Sports make Fifa08 beter than konami pes2008.
if sony released the demo before the the actual lauch of pes 2008, no one would of bought the game, simple.
play the demo you will see exactly what i mean.
it plays rubbish on ps3. no wonder its been delayed

Have anyone who got both the 360 and PS3 version noticed that the stadium looks slitly small on the 360 and the games feels more open on the PS3, have played both games Tv next 2 Tv, and the PS3 version looks slitly better too (dont know how but u have to see them next to each other to see the difirense) anyway, PS3 version will kickass after the the patch comes, I cant lay-off the controller anymore.. one thing is good about the 360 version is that it supports 1080p.. my 360 is gathering dust since PES2008 came out, lol.. and NO i didnt buy the god damn console becus of Halo..

They were so scared about what we may think of the PS3 Version they delayed knowing we’d want it more with them knowing that the slow down was immense!!! and that the game was full of bugs which may have put us off getting it instead! PSS!
i think the demo for ps3 is mainly for the north american buyers. im gonna check it out.
hi this is michael owen and i have been following this site since i am involved in pes2008 and i can tell u that the reason they delayed the demo is because of technical faults now u may not believe this is really me but it is enjoy the game and score a few goals with me lol …enjoy…

oh yea and i got fifa 08 for ps3. its cool i guess i have been a fifa fan for quite a long time since 98-99 somewhere around that and they have really evolved to be a great soccer game. But theres somthing about it i cant explain it it just doesnt feel like im in the game. you know? I want to try pes to compare the two. They say pes is a soccer simulaation and fifa is an arcade stlye game. then i hear pes is arcade stlye and fifa is simulation. ahh idk im really in need of that demo.
How can I edit the controller so that i can move the player not with the left stck but with the four botton pad???

PES has too many problems.. i only bought one PES game for the PS2, and i regret it…
But now, i have the PS3 and i now know that i’m never buying a PES game for the PS3.
umm.. its june, and i haven’t seen that demo…
i searched every “new demos” day (that means every thursday from where im from)… and i NEVER saw that demo available…
definitely no demo. I wonder y they pulled it. I checked US, Europe and Jap psn’s
