Official PC Patch v1.1

PC users can now downloaded the first official patch which apparantly fixes some of the issues gamers have been facing.
1) Lag issues resulting from slow connections have been improved.
2) The speed the power bar builds up is now consistent.
3) Small mistakes in the in-game text have been fixed.
4) Minor issues that occurred under rare conditions have been solved.
1st Post.. Still waiting for the 360 update……….
That’s pretty quick for Konami. Is this the start of a new era for PES, where the developers actually listen to what the users are saying?
It’s not, is it? Seabass: please just license your engine to someone who can sort out the presentation.

If teh PC patch took this long, then the rest hopefully shouldn’t be too far down the line.
Oh, and unban me hitman. These newbies are starting to piss me off.
Well i guess it’s a step in the right direction, releasing a patch on the lesser versions of pes2008. See if that is successful, then hopefully release a fully functioning version for the ps3. If konami can manage that, then all will be forgiven on my part.
Just a quick note, i’m becoming upset by some ps3 users who say they are not suffering from lags on the offline version. When clearly we all are! I hear of people saying, if you don’t use this setting and this stadium then it will run perfectly. Forgive me if i’m not wrong- but shouldn’t it be running smoothly regardless of the stadium/weather effects/stadium effects/Camera Angle/Lawerances awful commentry etc. . ?!
I received a message from Konami stating that they are working on a Patch for the online version of pes 2008 for the ps3. There was no mention of attempting to fix the offline problems. I hope this will not be the case!

You think you’ve got problems. I can never finish the installation because I get a message “Error 1628 Failed To Complete Installation”.

dave jones you are completley correct! I was excited about online play, but the fact that theyve screwed up offline is a disaster! i just want to be able to play offline with friends, not asking for alot!! offline framerate is disgraceful and gives me headaches. Everyone does experience it, at least everyone i know!! try playing 2 or 3 player games, then you’d surely face some major problems.
ive changed weather to winter, which plays fine on 1 player, but me and my mate played a game and it was pathetic offline. the game is not playable at all in any sense. what a waste of 40 quid. but still theyve released a pc patch so their doing something, waiting patiently for a ps3 patch.

I just have one question: every time when i enter the game it asks me on what level do i want to play! every single time. everything i change in the game i must save and then load every freakin time! Is there no autosave?

i can’t install the patch. a message comes up saying “1628 Failed To Complete Installation” any ideas what should i do?
