Option Files: A summary

OK… There has been 10’s of comments left on the blog and over on the forum asking the same questions, so let me clear up some confusion with a few simple bullet points.
- At the time of writing, on the next-gen (360 and PS3) formats you can only have FOUR teams with ‘replica’ kits. This is because of the limited amount of photos you can use at any one time. Many of the files on eBay supposedly containing all the teams will require you to pick and choose, you will never be able to have more than FOUR at once (or 8 if you just have the home kits). All other kits on option files will be made to the best of the makers ability using the poor edit mode.
- Yes, there IS a decent 360 file on the way soon… but you do run the risk of messing up your Live accounts by using it.
- Most files will need to be unzipped before you send them to your PS3. We recommend you use WinRar.
- Option files can only contain information which is editable in the game. At the moment, there is no way of including badges for the Premier League teams. There will NEVER be any possiblity of including new commentary, different ad boards or anything fancy like that (this can only be done on PC).

The W.E.N.B Team is working on a PS3, XBox 360, PC, and PS2 Version, They promised to release a PC and PS3 Version at first, followed by an Xbox 360, and later the PS2 Version … This might be the first proper option file which will contain kits for all teams :D I Think they managed to overcome that problem, at least for PC they did, not sure about consoles? Thats why i sold my PS3, used the extra $2500 i had and got myself a TOP-High-END PC to play all the games as soon as i heard PES2008 was going Next-Gen … Everything runs smooth on PC, and Controlers are great, and only cost $50 for both Logitech Controllers :D
I just have one question: every time when i enter the game it asks me on what level do i want to play! every single time. everything i change in the game i must save and then load every freakin time! Is there no autosave?
So When the PC version who include everything gonna be out ?
Can any body give me an approx time as to when a pc option file will be released with all the kits , boots , etc,etc

is there anyway the editting of emblems and what not be saved on an xbox 360 memory card and sell it for people to buy. and save that data on to the hard drive. i wouldnt mind paying for that, and on top of which ill be having a memory card anywho.

i know most of the users here are console gamers, but because of the huge editing possibilities of the pc, i think this should be a very interesting point.

Yeah Lawerson sucks on the commentary. I had forgotten that he was even meant to be on it until about the 60th minute when he chipped in with some dodgy one liner! Has anybody tried the commentary in a different language yet? Spanish was always my favourite from the previous games “gggggooooooooooooooaaaaaaaallllll!”
Is anyone using the PS3 Eye toy yet to design kits etc or is it all with the old ps2 one?
regarding the 360 OF: will I be able to transfer it to my 360 with the datel Max drive (used it to transfer the PES 5 OF to my xbox)?
