Play.com have slashed the price of PES 2008 on the XBox 360 to just £24.99. Who knows how long this price will last so grab it HERE while you can.

That’s a great price, shame i haven’t got an xbox 360.
its because this game sucks so much. i bought it for pc, and man. Master league pisses me off. i started in Hard or professional whatever, and the team that i am supplied with (minanda, ordaz, hamsun, ivarov, etc) suck nuts compared the FC Dynamo kiev’s player and all those professional teams. shouldn’t i start off in a highschool league or division 3 or something. Because i cant run past anyone cause my players are so slow. i cant pass because the ball is so heavy, and i cant choose the speed of pass, that it is intercepted before my players can reach it. everytime they get the ball, they run pass my defenders like my defenders are fat americans. I hate this. i never get on their half. now i wish i had started off on normal mode. I bought beckham and takahuchi on my transfer, so i had 2000 points left. and i havn’t won any games, so therefore i havn’t any money. with 6 games left to go, i will not have 9,000 points. what should i do?! it looks like game over for me. what a waste of three whole days. because of this stupid game i failed two tests.

This just shows that this game did not really live to expectation which is why the dramatic price cut, remember Pro Evo 6 , it was £35 (pre order value) and Fifa 07 was £50 last year in october.
It just means well that game isnt really worth the value of the intial price which is why they made it £25 (a more realistic price)
By the way i was talking about the Xbox 360
they wouldnt just slash the prices just because a game is bad. and you have to remember tat there are still many ppl who do love the game, and it is also the number one selling sports game. on top of that, it recently came out. i’m sure there is more to this price cut then we think.

i am a shite. but even if i am, don’t you think the game should run Smooth online and especially OFFLINE. And whats up with the edit mode? you can’t add sponsors, and you can’t piece together pieces of designs anymore. its premade kits. but yes, the game is awesome if both teams are near to equal (or if you are the better team). but if you think your so good. try starting the game off on proffessional with the original PES players. You will get raped until transfer season comes. and watch how fustrated you get. i dont care how good you are. By the way. If you end up with negative cash and the game is about to end, and you click next and its game over. it says load your season again, or start a new game! If you just reload your season right when transfer season is over, and its about to say game over again. you can start next season off with negative points. its wierd. but i like!
i think this pro evo is to easy and i found pes6 more of a challenge! any1 agree? the likes of ronaldo and rooney are fast and can outrun any defence which means it is to easy to score. also i dont really notice the teamvision in my game on 360 as i do the same moves all the time, take ronaldo up the wing cut back and belt the ball home! does anyone else have the same problem?
he hasnt got a clue how to play pro evo if hes losing every game, coz master league is too easy!! And buyin Beckham? you’re clearly a yank lol!!

Seriously, I do have some major complaints against this.
If the difficulty level is “regular”, then keep it the SAME LEVEL. It makes no sense how I can beat man united with sunderland 9-0 in a cup match (not master league), but lose with real madrid against sporting lisbon in master league. KEEP IT THE SAME DIFFICULTY!!!
Seriously, it really bugs me. Someone needs to tell konami not to alter the difficulty level for master league. Keep it the SAME as exhibition, then you truly know what level you are at and you won’t get frustrated. They should also enable you to change it during the season ALL THE TIME. It’s OUR game. It’s not cheating. We should have it the way we want.

i actualy like this game its good and its a nice change to the easier last years model it gives a fresh challenge with the controls being the joystick instead of the arrows meaning more control of players and it means the ball goes where you point it, i think that to all those who care about the edit mode are forgetting what the games about its not just about editing which is pretty good anyway not so many options but stil looks good, but its about the game and for me the game is amazing, playing against my mates you get alot more closer matches and it really does show this time that its better if you keep the ball and pass it around instead of the through ball run onto it and cut in = goal

i cant believe that a game i used to play in the 80s is a better game than pes 08!!! the old 20 year old game had 7 buttons up,dwn,left,right,pass,shoot,tackle. and sum how superior to a new age console game HOW!!!?? i press up and pass and rooney will pass dwn left wiv his wrong foot to the enemy no matter what i click the player passes to the enemy. i sit there chasing the ball on match and then pass it back to them i best possesion was bout 8% of the ball. I hate the general public they must be sooo stupid to play such a pointless game i havent seen 1 move on the whole game that i cudnt do wen i was in primary school, the best players in the world can only jst manage skill i mastered at 5 years old. must of the time they cant manage it so i skill the game must be for 3 years and younger or its so slow and boring i wud rather go play on the grass on my own and pretend at least id see sum gud football!!!!
