The ‘missing’ patch?

Some of you seem to be expecting a patch today which will fix the lag issues. Can we just clarify that Konami never officially announced any kind of patch. PESForum.co.uk had posted an interview online a week or so back, in which it was claimed there would be a patch released today. The interview was, as far as I am aware, completely bogus and what was said in it can’t be trusted.

Almost a month into it and no news from Konami, it is bullshit. I love Pro Evo but I can’t take the lag online, I rarely play offline so I am most dissapointed. Tomorow i’m trading it in with joy and getting Assassins Creed. I will rebuy once a patch has been brought out. Well done Konami on losing many loyal customers.
konami have really got to sort this out, just played online and the lag was ridiculous i had a shot 18 yards out burst the net and won a corner????

What is the point of these forums if the people running them are not demanding answers from companies that are ripping of it’s supporters? They have been working on a game for a fucking year and they can’t even get it to work properly. Ofcourse, there’s a simple explanation for all of this. It’s obvious that it’s also the fault of SI Games. SI games never get their games out properly and let people wait months for any decent patches. By working together with them Konami only went down hill. So lets send out some stealth bombers and nuke their fucking country all over again. Lake Tokyo sounds just about right.

Why would Konami give an Interview to a small new community like www.pesforum.co.uk - It was just a marketing ploy by that site my guess.
I agree with Rooie Aghmed (apart from all the racist crap) This game should have been ok from the start online. They have one of the fastest broadband systems in the world, Its not as if this is a totally new concept of a game. EA can do it with Fifa why can’t Konami?¿ It makes me angry with companies like Konami who do not offer such a HUGE title to be tested online properly.
I am a beta tester for Sony and this is one of the franchises that we have been asking to test for a few years now and still nothing. the only thing we got was to test MGS snake eater online mode. if this was tested with the Euro beta testers then I think this fault could/would have been avoided. I have not even tried my PS3 version yet because I hear that it is even a worse state online than the X360 version (which I am playing). I thought I would never say this but the X360 version does run better online than PS3 (from what I have heard from my mates)
This is a kick in the teeth for people who bought a PS3 with it’s massive price tag just for the next gen Pro Evo 2008. And for another thing, why why why the hell does the PS3 version need a reg code to play online, but the X360 does not need this? Anyone know?¿
Konami does not have a good reputation with Pro Evo online. the last pro Evo for the X360 got a patch to stop lag and lag cheaters, but all Konami managed to do was to make the game unpalatable online, you would get booted out of games all the time giving your opponent a 3-0 win :(

Haha Konami new about this shitz all along. Why do u think they realeased a demo after the actual game release? We were sold an unfinished game hoping that people will bare with them whilst they put the finishing touches to the spaghetti code (due next year summer). I can’t believe these suckers dont get sued. They got away with murder.

I loved playing online, but ive had to many times where I’ve scored and then the ball appears on the half-way line etc.

i couldnt take the unfinished game any more. So i simply traded it in for fifa 08 on ps3 for £15. Guys, shuud at least try a new football game for once because fifa 08 isnt half as bad. Im a proper pro evo fan and its good once in a while to have official shit and commentary. i may prefer the gameplay on pro yh but the game is good. Come on now its a finished game. But be sure to get the next pro evo.
its a sad sad day when a PES player of almost 7 yrs contemplates going over to the dark side and buying a copy of FIFA. I feel I have no choice and SeaBass has shafted me for 40 quid. We used to associate sea bass’s name with quality games and now he’s just con artist .. wouldn’t be so bad if they came out and said ”were working on patch, pencil in this date’ .No they are keeping stchum hoping that it will blow over. For all this the single player mode is no where near different enough from Pes6 to be considered a new title. apart from close control its basically the same game. I have many games on the xbox but I only fuk with PES so this has hit me hard. totally gutted
