If you are looking to pick up PES 2008 do so in the next 24 hours at Play and you will pay just 19.99! PC version is just a tenner…

I disagree. PS3 version is much better offline now thanks to the patch. If you’ve got a PS3 get it!!!
Also I noticed that whatever games hsop I go into that there are loads and loads of 2nd hand FIFA 08 but never any PES2008. Does that tell you anything? And no it doesn’t mean its so shit noone is taking it in second hand before someone says that!!!

Can anyone confirm if these are the ones of the official guide?? It looks like it as one of the teams is Piggyback Interactive (the publishers)
It means konami wont repair pes2008?! (When its for 9.95 pounds?)
total disgrace!! i well pissed now with play doing this. Paid £40 for mine 4 weeks ago from play and they go and do this!!
me thinks im waiting at least 2 months til i buy a new release from launch date from now on!
@mn9ajas: Why do you say the PS3 version is better for offline play now that you have the patch? In PC it has always been working great. At most, both versions would be the same now that you have no lag. However, some PS3 users reported that the patch’s improvement was made at the cost of a weird pitch texture and some other issues, so I guess PC is still better…
Just never been into PC games. Always seem to never quite have the right type of graphics card or something daft like that. Also it always felt weird playing it on a monitor but I guess you can play pc games through tvs now with similar controllers to consoles etc so fair point pacman. Although I still think the ps3 version would be better but unfortunately not as good as the 360!!! ;)
