PES 2008 Release Date?

As if the confusion over the licenses wasn’t enough… Konami can’t even seem to nail down an absolute date for the release of the game. Depending where you shop, you’ll be getting the game on October 19th, October 26th or even the start of November!
Generally speaking, Play.com are the most trustworthy source, and they currently carry a release date of October 26th. This is the date PESGaming expects the game to OFFICIALLY land, despite the fact mega-online retailer Amazon seems to think the game will be released October 19th. A simple press release from Konami could answer us once and for all? Surely they WANT us to know when the game is going to be available?
I do, however, expect all retailers will have the game in stock on October 19th, and the game will most probably be available to buy BEFORE the official release of October 26th. Eager high street stores will probably put the game out for sale on the Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week so it’ll be worth trying your luck at a few different shops (for those of you not ordering online). Remember, once one store makes the game available, everyone else will follow suit. It’s only the shop who releases the game first who gets into trouble!
As for the online companies, they will be shipping out 2-3 days before the release. Last year many gamers received their copies on the Wednesday or Thursday before the Friday release date.
Yeah i got mine early. Woolworths seem to be the best bet for putting them out early (at least i think it was them).
When is the U.S. release date for the game? It seems like end of October is for Europe/Japan, but what us folks here in the U.S.? Thanks!
Based on PES2007 release, I would not expect to see the game released in North American until the turn of the year.
Does anyone know if European version will be region free for PS3??? i got a USA version can’t wait for this game to release…
You sure the USA version is coming out next year? I’m pretty sure its coming out for the USA in October 26th? “i1der” received the USA version, so technically, the USA version is available!! right?
I got a dumb question… will the version of Winning Eleven (PS3) released in Europe be able to be played in the USA, cause to my knowledge it is not coming out over here until 2008 (TBA)?
i was told by the manager in game that it was getting released on the 12th october.
I’ve bin on alot of wesites 2 do with pro 08 & they all sound great cant wait till it comes out. Its gona be da best pro ever. (well… for now anyway)

Yes, Ive read that I must be in 3rd place in the European Championship but does this mean I “HAVE” to be #3?? Help me out here. I want the cup in my gallery. Thanks.
