  1. t23d Says:

I gotta say, if they recommended settings use Pixel Shader 3.0, we’re in for some very high quality graphics i hope i only got an x600 heh, havent really seen a PC video yet, only Xbox360 gameplay from GC. That seems up par with fifa 08

  2. Pwc Says:

    ATI Radeon x700 can surport

  3. Yefta Says:

    ATI Radeon 9500 sure support?
well thx, so i can play PES2008,

  4. DK Says:

    Bloody…I have a x1400…fingers-crossed

  5. Don Sweey Says:

I can’t help but feel they’re lacking in code optimization when taking the PC space requirements into consideration. I severely doubt it is going to feel like the sort of game that should really be taking 6.5GB though I hope I’m proved wrong.

The rest of the specs are very much encouraging for the casual PC gamer.

  6. omg Says:

omg ,geforce3 is still supported !!!!!!!!!!

  7. beLLboy Says:

i wanna play it on a notebook,do you guys think an integrated VGA intel GMA 950 or GMA X3100 will do?

  8. Anonymous Says:

It seems like a good card i think. Please as soon as you see this message answer me,its really important. Thanks in advance..

  9. president.s Says:

what about chipsets like nvidia geforce 8600 or ati radeon x1650?by the way the message above is mine but i forgot to type a name…sorry

  10. wang Says:

nvidia 8600gts cannot set to high.
    maybe 8800 can. ;-(

  11. zizou Says:

i got the demo and i am running it on my dell laptop at low quality detail. My graphics card is standard witht the laptop anddoes not have pixel shader 3.0 Whenever starting the game or adjusting the settings, I get an error explaining that without the shader the game might not function correctly but i ignore the message and play. The demo works, fine. The graphics arn’t nearly as good as it’s potential but the game play is smooth. So if you dont have the right graphics card listed, download the demo and try it out.

  12. Irish_PXzyan Says:

I have an 8800GTS 640mb and I can run it on high quality with no lag at all..the graphics are fantastic!! The let down is my AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.0Ghz CPU…I need a new CPU!! but the game doe snot lag..only in the reply mode…seems to happen to everyone tho…I love the game..very nice!

  13. Irish_PXzyan Says:

    Sorry for double post!

But some people wonder about the HD 2600, GeForce 8600 and the older X1650 and 7600 cards.

The HD 2600 card is not a good gamers card…it only manages to rub todays games!! if your lucky…it might play high…for this Game tho..I really doubt it. If you are going to buy a DX10 card…go for the 8800GTS 320mb or HD 2900XT..they will run the game on high settings.

As for the older 7600 and X1650 cards. They will run the game better than the 8600 and 2600. Iam sure you will be able to manage high settings…but iam not sure about that. If the 2600 can get around 25FPS playing PES2008..then the X1650 should be able to manage 30FPS.

    Hope this helps.

  14. Hammal Says:

I’ve recently bought a laptop with a X3100 graphics card, would this game run smoothly enough?

  15. Dannykilla Says:

    What about Vista 64 Ultimate?
What about a Res of 1900×1200 (am I screwed?)

I have two 8800 Ultra’s so will this run, I had trouble on the demo, graphics looked like a psone :(

  16. robana Says:

    can it run on Vista???

  17. Andreas Says:

    Yeah it runs in Vista!

  18. Louquito Says:

    Windows XP
    Pentium 4 3.2GHz
    2GB RAM
    NVidia 6800 GT
It runs, but not very smoothly, there are slow downs in the penalty area even on medium 800×600. Also ajusted seeting on graphics card to high perfomance no antialiasing, no vsync. and still runs like a dog. Back to Fifa 08 where everthing is on high and it runs smooth.

  19. jimakos Says:

    Hi,

I am running Pes 2008 on xp using my geforce 4Ti 4800 SE. It is 128 mb card.
Everything runs fine, however the crowd does not appear and not sure if there is a bench or anything else to be shown. All i see in each match, is the ground and the players. I see a stadium, but is completely empty…

Is this because of my graphics card? the manual says it should be supported… Anyone have any ideas???

  32. Jeton Says:

How to install PES 2008 ?

  36. alan johnston Says:

Go into settings in the game folder and turn on vsync. this helps with any screen tearing.

also everyone else consider using a programme such as d3d overrider to help with vsync

  40. Davey boy Says:

I’m having problems with PES2008, I’m running Vista Ultimate 64. nvidia 8800GT, core 2 duo 2.4ghz, 2gb ddr2 800mhz, game runs fine in full settings, a bit of fps loss during a rainy game but it’s nothing to worry about. The problem is, my screen fades to black over a period of 2 seconds during the game, not even a cut scene, but while I’m playing, only way to get the screen back is my minimising the game and reopening. Had no trouble like this with my ATI x800xt on medium settings.

  41. Lynxboy Says:

runs like a dream on x1950pro512mb@1680×1050 (using the hack) athlon x2 2.65ghz, Makes the 360 n PS3 versions look poor imo

i think my graphics card no good, is there a way to improve my IGP or buy a new card/chip or buy an external graphics card. any info will be helpful
