Does anyone else have problems with the install file?
It takes forever to load, and when it finally does it freezes.. I’m trying to install it on my other computer upstairs as we speak.

Same here. Got it installed the first time, but it lacked a .dll-file. The other time around it just stopped. Downloading from another link now.
Hmm, how much space does it require?… i have 12,4Gb free, and when i want to install it says “there is not enough space on the disk” :/ ?!
just played it for an hour.
With the graphic option [wait for vsync]it plays ridiculously fast (reminiscent of earlier PES double speed mode)
With [wait for vsync] off, it plays like they’re all running in treacle.
Oh bloody hope that this is gonna be fixed.
To anyone that doiesnt know already this is a port from the 360 (as the earlier games were PS2 ports.
Seems like the replay time has finally been increased but it still isnt long enough.
Graphics have improved.
Ok…it plays almost “normally” if I lock the vsync and force a refresh rate of 60 (which is probably what the 360 does?) but it still doesnt feel right.
i cannot install the game! the wizard stops with ‘dll load error’

Why the PES 2008 Demo is not working for Vista ???? Is there anyone who knows from where we can download a demo version that works for Vista

not only a vista problem. have the same problem to with winxp sp2 & mediaplayer 11. p4@2,6ghz and ati radeon 1950pro agp - catalyst 7.6

Well, did you perhaps read the error? What DLL is missing then?
Excellent news for Vista Owners. What you have to do is just update your SDK to a vista version . What is happening for Vista owners is that Direct x 9 is unable to play highly graphic games such as PES 2008 , therefore the only solution is to update your SDK to a newer version which is available here from Microsoft for free http://download.microsoft.com/download/3/3/f/33f1af6e-c61b-4f14-a0de-3e9096ed4b3a/dxsdk_aug2007.exe

i am getting an error message drdx9_30.dll was not found !!! am using windows xp sp2 my cpu is AMD Turion 64 , any ideas of how i can solve this problem ? please need a reply soon :)

for those who are missing the dll file, download it from here (http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_30) and put in in the c:\program file\Konami\pro evolution soccer 2008 demo directory

Guys the demo is very good and almost excellent and i cant w8 for the original to come!!
This demo is amazing! The graphics are very realistic. The music is much better than last year, and the gameplay is awsome. I played fifa 08 for pc (PS2 port) and its the same shit as last year. Ive even played fifa 08 for XBOX360 and it still feels the same as last year! PES 2008 will put fifa 08 to shame! This demo is recomended for high end pc’s (if you really want to see the detail in the character models put the detail on high). There is also a demo patch out with a new nike ball,different grass texture,fixed line ups,and you can now play with up to 4 players!
oh yeah and i forgot you can also play longer now! no more stupid 5 min matches. You can now customize your time in the game.

what does the vsync option do and frame skipping?
I downloaded the demo, but it says the appliation has failed to start because d3dx9_30 was not found.So i downloaded d3dx9_30 and i dont know how to put it into the actual demo for it to work. could someone please help?
try a different version mate
i had the same problem with the d3dx9_30. serach it in google then download it. then go to my computer, click on the search button. click on all files and folders and enter system 32. wen u find it open it and put the downloaded d3dx9_30 in the folder. this should fix your folder
