Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 landing October 17th?

It is being reported across the web today that PES 2009 will be released Wednesday October 15th across, with an expected Friday 17th release for the UK.

WENB are reporting that KaiWai of WeArePES.com picked up the information while at the recent PES Cup Final in France.

At the event the attendees were then told that PES 2009 would be released on October 15th on PS2/PS3/X360/PC, with the PSP version to follow later that year. Added to that there was news that the game would be released on the DS and Wii in 2009.

No word on a worldwide release just yet.

Hey guys, for all of you who are actually excited about this news, (i know i am) if you have Forbidden Planet shop anywhere near you, (i only know of Stoke and Manchester but am aware theres loads more)they sell it loads earlier. Every year we’ve had Evo 3 days before its proper release date so I thought i’d share this news to completely erase that “last neverending week till Evos out.”

    Peace

I am excited to see the demo . When it’s available ?In order not to let our fans down.Should there be a few demos release earlier before the actual one ?This should allow more times for them to fix. From July to Oct , 3 months plus, what can they fix?

Just can’t help feeling that the development time or lack of it, just won’t come up with the obvious improvements desired by PES fans.

Sorry to piss on your bonfire!

I just hope its not another bodge job. Id rather wait till next year if they are going to rush this one. I think they rushed to meet demand last year. Konami need to go back to basics ie pro evo 6, in terms of gameplay. Sort out frame rate! I hated fifa before but now i have a new respect for them after playin euro 2008. Pro could learn a few lessons i think. Also improve masterleague and custom tools!

Always good to read about soccer and football.

Can I ask though - how did you get this picked up and into google news?

Very impressive, is it something that is just up to Google or you actively created?

Obviously this is a popular blog with great data so well done on your seo success..

Does anybody know how I can get players from different teams onto my ‘own’ team? Is this available in the Wii 2008 edition? I wanted to assemble an all class player team of portuguese players, namely Figo from inter, Rui Costa from Juventus, and Pauleta from Paris San Gemain.. is this possible???
    Thanks!
    Leo
