PES Off!! 19th February 2009: COMPETITION SPECIAL

For everyone who owns a Wii, or is thinking about getting one, how’s this for incentive:
We have three copies of the Wii version of PES2009 to give away!
Konami have very kindly donated three copies of the game for us to give away to fans of our site.
We also have three signed Messi PES2009 posters (Limited Edition – only 50 in the world!) to give away.
I am kicking off a series of mini-competitions which we will be running not only on the main site, but also within the forums. So there will be ample opportunities to pick up a copy of the game very very soon.
The game isn’t due for release until some time in March, which is in fact, just a stone’s throw away.
I’m not sure whether Wii games are region protected, since the versions we will get will be European PAL versions. So apologies if this means that non-PAL regions won’t be eligible. If this is the case, then we will fight hard to try to get more copies for all the other regions to ensure you’re all included in the competition. But hopefully there aren’t region protection issues to worry about. I’m not particularly savvy on the Wii, so do forgive my ignorance. I’m sure a few of you will see fit to set me straight on the status of Wii games.
As regular readers of my PES OFF!! articles will be aware, I’ve been asking you guys for ideas for competitions, and to date, no-one has volunteered any ideas – so thanks a lot guys. This means that you have to make do with whatever ideas we come up with for the competitions, so no moaning about the choice of ideas.
Now we’d like to think PES gamers are a cerebral bunch (you wouldn’t tell from the nature of some of the comments left on this site and in the forums!), and so we want to test how much you really want a copy of PES2009 on the Wii. My competition is quite simple. I am attaching several PESGaming.com posters (Big shout out to Dan for producing these for us!) which I would like you guys to print out and put in your place of study, work or play. The bigger the poster is, and the more imaginative the placement, the more likely you will be to win a copy of the game. We would like you to take a picture of yourself alongside the poster, wherever you choose to place it, and then email me the picture at my usual address, as listed at the end of this post. It’s that simple!
There will be one copy of the game given away in my competition. Now here’s the rules bit, which i’m making up as I go along:
1. The final decision on who wins rests solely with the PESGaming.com panel, and can’t be contested.
2. The copy of the game will be sent to the winner as soon as we receive it from Konami.
3. The winner of my competition will also get a bonus item, which I will keep secret for now…
4. The closing date for this competition has not been finalised yet, but will probably be around when the games are in our hands. At least a week’s notice before the competition ends will be given.
Right then, here the posters which you can choose from to print off and stick up where you choose to do so.
Please put the posters up responsibly – i.e. not illegally – we do not in any way wish for anyone to break the law in trying to partake in our competition. There’s no bonus points for picking any particular poster, so there’s no real strategy in choosing which one to pick. Or is there?

Wow, this is a very good respond from konami, hopefully konami will continue to take care of our needs.
I got the update and Arshavin rightly had his stats increased. I went Arsenal online and his stats where as they where before the update. Has anybody else noticed this problem or is it just me and does anybody know why?

People, take a look at the mail I just sent Konami and the answer:
Just got the newest PES 2009 transfer patch and noticed that Gudjohnsen is missing from Barcelona squad.
Hope you can fix this soon. It would be very bad to wait another 6 months until this is fixed.
It seems obvious that this is a mistake.
