PS2 and PSP versions of PES 2010 today

Sound progress for PES 2010 Konami unleashes PSP® and PlayStation 2 versions of acclaimed football series As Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH releases the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) and PlayStation 2 versions of its popular PES 2010 title, it has released full details of the game’s fully licenced soundtrack.

PES 2010 is released for PSP® and PlayStation 2 on November 6th, and shares many of the attributes of its next generation cousins. Both games enjoy much improved player and team AI, while the visuals have also been significantly enhanced. Every aspect of the game – from close control, through to commentary and presentation – has been thoroughly reworked, and follows a year of feedback and discussion with the PES community.

The use of licensed tracks was just one of the many requests asked by the PES fan base, and the Tokyo-based WEP team has incorporated over 25 well-known and specially selected tracks that suit the game perfectly. Tracks include ‘Dakota’ and ‘A Thousand Trees’ by the Stereophonics, ‘Again and Again’ by Keane, and Paul Weller’s anthemic ‘Come On/Let’s Go.’ PES 2010 is already available for PLAYSTATIONR3, Xbox 360 and PC-DVD, and as Konami releases its new iterations, the publisher is already discussing future plans with the PES community for ways to take the series forward.

PES 2010 will be released for PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) and PlayStation 2 on November 6th. Stereophoneys, Keane and Weller might ’suit the game perfectly’ in your opinion but if I hear a millisecond of that dirgy crap in ANY context I’m liable not to be held responsible for my actions.

  7. Mauricio Pochettino Says:

the PS2 version is great and more up to date than the next gen versions, squads are almost correct and more stadiums are in it as estadio Mestalla, delle Alpi and Riazor.
Old fashion pro evo fun, greattttttttttttttttttttttt

Still the real soccer game king.

I also wished that the next gen was better as this one, but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot.

Konami have let gamers down again. The psp version has not made it on to the ps network yet in a download version for pspgo owners, like me. This sucks! Come on konami pull your finger out!

  14. i have no life Says:

  16. Firsty First of the Firsters! Says:

Kevin @ 8 Is the champions league integrated into the master league?

I’ve not got the game yet due to it not being on PS network yet, as mentioned above, but to me it looks like a mixture of PES2010 for PS3 and PS2. The team set up and controller setup is all the old PS2 version isn’t it? (way better in my opinion compared to the PS3 version – BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL ASSISTED CONTROLLER OPTION IN THE NEXT GEN VERSIONS!!!)

  17. emmex Says:

    @8

    “no commentary” ????

    thats a BIG problem…thankfully i dont own a psp

  18. luz ka Says:

can anyone tell me about the update thats coming out on thursday

  19. Firsty First of the Firsters! Says:

Got a response from konami today stating that they couldn’t tell me any information on when or if PES 2010 would be making it on to download for PSPGo users. Gutted!

  20. kevin Says:

    Firsty First of the Firsters

I what to go back to it..agan and agan..thats how good the game is..so if u say its not..u do not know what football is! Play it..then u wil be on it all the time..say good bye to pro evo on the ps3..becos its a bad game what they have giving us!

  22. Robbie Says:

what are the stadiums in ps2 version?

  23. Paul86 Says:

i don t like this PES 2010 for ps2…the changes i have heard fora couple of months were a lie.

Master League mode was suppossed to be improved and its the same as PES2009, no currency, no youth players,no managers activities.

The players cards doesn t exists

The crowd that was supposed to be improved is the same as PES 2009, maybe they have 1 or two new chants buts when you score a goal they are sleeping.

The new teams are not available. Same teams as in 2009 edition

The only positive thing is the new Stadiums(WEMBLEY, Benficas stadium,Porto s stadium, Stade de France and El Monumental from Argentina).

And also they add the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE but i was expecting more of this last version for playstation 2

  24. jack Says:

I just bought the psp go and I wonder how can I buy the pes 2010 for it? I registered to the american sony store, but it wasn’t there, they only have fifa 2010! I need somebody’s help, please!

  25. Arshavin070 Says:

Playstation 2 gameplay is the BEST!!!!!!!

And its way better than the gameplay on the next gen consoles!!!!

  26. Jonathan Says:

    Hey guys,

Have PES2010 on PSP and while gameplay and graphics are great it really sucks that there is practically no commentary!

Any idea whether this will be available as a patch/file that we may download onto the PSP memory stick in the near future?

    Fingers crossed!!

  27. 11 Says:
