Konami Digital Entertainment has today elaborated on the many new additions gracing its eagerly-awaited PES 2011 title.
Due for release in the Autumn, PES 2011 has been astounding football fans with its free-flowing, unfettered gameplay. Total control is the new game’s mantra, and PES 2011 delivers this with an all-new power gauge system wherein players govern the strength and position of every pass. Total 360-degree control adds a layer of realism to the series, and Konami has showcased this innovation with an all-new trailer.
The new footage shows the total freedom of passing PES 2011 offers, alongside closer looks at its new dribbling, defensive hold-up play, and jostling. Similarly, the trailer gives an insight into the new power gauge, while also showing how feints and tricks can be mapped on to the R3 button and accessed with ease. PES 2011 utilises over 1000 new animations, and these are also on show as the new game demonstrates its key attributes in the footage.
Konami has also released a number of new screens to accompany the trailer, and these reveal for the first time the new ‘Stadium Edit’ mode, that allows users to create their own home ground for use in the game, and the first screens for the massively reworked Become a Legend mode, where players are cast as an upcoming starlet and strive to earn major honours and become the world’s greatest player. More information will be released in the coming months.

I would like to congratulate Konami to finally make such huge effort to improve PES2011. The Graphic is great and the new game play looks decent.
Above all this cool features, I wonder how could anyone from KONAMI could ignore the BASIC FEATURES, such as PASSING???
Passing is way too ARCHADE!!!! Its too unrealistic!!!
I have been a big WE fan but now I have no choice but to switch to FIFA once and for all and return all my Konami product.
” PASSING ” is the core features in Football Simulation game, my friend. The ball does not roll or bounce but stick to the ground from Point A to B.
Just freaking copy from FIFA2010. They did that to WE9, so what’s the big deal.
Please, my dear KONAMI developer. Please patch the passing… it just too ROBOTICS…

please add a random commentator option and the manager of a club should be given offers from other clubs,so the decision should be the gamer if he should leave his club and join another and also different leagues should have a difference in the atmosphere

how is the passing unrealist sorry u have to aim at a player for it to go to them instead of fifa were u press A and it goes to a player every time just take it fifas a game for under 10s pes is a more realist and a harder game. great improvment well done

Okay so does anyone know how on earth you hit low shots in this game? From far out, a light and quick tap of the shoot button will make the player hit it relatively low, but tap the shoot button close in at goal and my player smacks it high into the roof of the net every time.
Likewise, I took a penalty with Messi, and literally tapped the shoot button as quickly as I could so that you barely even saw the power gauge let alone charge it, and he skyrocketed the ball about 100ft in the air.
What am I doing wrong, or is the shooting that random? It’s really annoying me. Surely you can control the height of shots?
i wonder why konamy could not buy official license of bundes liga. if anybody know it pls write here. thanks
nick – not even Football Manager has access to the licence of the bundes liga and even the German national team! i think we’re lucky to even have the national team but i think you’re right that they should make an effort to get the German league with fake names if neccessary!

There are too many differences in the new version .. Even in basic things .. The other hand was supposed to be there overdose in training .. How do you pass the ball .. And how to throw the ball?!
Also the names of players he was supposed to appear on the sides of the screen.
Pro Evolution Connector for 2011 is quite different from previous versions .. This is a great challenge for the company Konami

the game is interesting unlike every other game i have played before. The master league is so adventurous and difficult but it should have contained pre-season matches just like pes 2010
