PES 2013 has been the most discussed PES in the last 5 years. And for good reason. The signs are looking great, the feedback has been extremely positive and Konami have proven they are back with a bang when PES 2013 was awarded the ‘Best Sports Title’ at E3.
It is well known that Konami will be continuing their trend from last year and releasing two demos, one in July and one in September.
The July demo will probably hit around the 26th. I have been hearing some very juicy gossip about PES 2013. MLO is getting a serious overhaul and there will be some genuine suprises. I won’t comment on all I have heard but I will talk about the most exciting one.
As I say, like Paul Mc Shane being a professional footballer, these are wild rumours.
The biggest rumour floating around is the Player ID library. PES 2013 has the real life likeness of 50+of the world’s best players. Konami want to have EVERY footballer in their game eventually captured. They want to build a massive hub for each individual. Every player will handle differently, as in real life. This will roll onto PES 2014 on the next gen consoles and also onto PES 2015, 16, etc…
Imagine how amazing that would be. I reckon it would extremely difficult to do this but even to have 500 players for PES 2014 would be great.
Also, Konami really want to embrace DLC. Weekly content is rumoured, with things such as MLO challenges, Master League stories ( real life football drama incorporated into your PES World) and all the usual boots, (create a pair) shirt styles and hair styles. Throw in a new rival mode and more editable teams and crests and Konami look like they want tooffer more bang for your buck.
The future is bright for PES. I have faith in Konami and after July, I’m sure you will too.
