Ok, so here we go. PES 20313 is well and truly on the radar. Due to personal commitments, I was unable to attend the initial press day, and therefore have to go on the word of other media, with the overall opinion being one of optimism.
Lots to get through, so let’s start off with Konami’s official press spiel .

Perhaps most interestingly, based on everything that we have heard and read to far is that there is no ‘Seabass’. A new producer seems to be at the helm, and this may mean genuine changes for the series!

Seabass isn’t gone… From what I’ve read he’s working on the next gen versions of PES. So, the question is, will this year be a minor upgrade or a big imporvement? I think in hindsight that PES 2013 may turn out to be only a small advancement. Also, personally I’m not too sure about the new dribbling system. To me it seems a little too easy to maneouver into space in ways that real footballers only do ocassionally. Konami have actually been guilty of several similarly unrealistic dribbling “enhancements” over the last four or so versions in the game, e.g. the quick 90 degree angle turns in PES 09, and the speed merchant dribbling in PES 2012, and both of those misrepresentations of how players dribble ruined the game by making the dribbling too effective and thus unbalancing the gameplay. Unfortunately this looks like it may be another one of those enhancements that a year later they realize is not realistic and too easy to exploit, but I will try to remain positive. Maybe the videos they have shown of the game have just highlighted these new moves because they want us to get excited about them, but to me it seems like the game may not end up playing realistically if you are always dribbling backwards with “deft touch” dribbling.

honestly to tell u the truth , this is just a sequence of 2012 with a few minor touches , such a joke , no one should buy pes 2013 this year believe me , if it looks any hint like 2012 then , thats a perfect enough reason . i would rather advise one to wait for 2014 , i think thats where the real changes is going to be . Definetly not this bull****, i stinks from a mile away.
