OK ive noticed my sb's like to think that they are cb's most of the game ALWAYS going into the box leaving the wings free for the CPU to run down...ive tried correcting this by putting attacking arrows pointing to the sidelines. but they still like to go into the centre of the pitch...anyone else have this problem and how can i fix it more

cheers

I've noticed a problem in defence where my side backs stay out wide when there is a free man inside. To fix this i move my side backs in quite narrow, pretty much to the limit.

In terms of your question however, i agree with the other guys that editing their position wider or converting to wingbacks should help.

Remember that attacking arrows only apply when you have the ball -> not when the computer has it.

this does suck!!!my sbs end up shattered coz thy tuck in central then i have to pace back to chase since they give wingers a massive head start because of it.its one of the small errors by konami that is frustrating, another would be the fact you cant choose who is in the box for corners,if i buy a small striker id want him on the edge of the box at a corner and get my 2 centre backs up,instead thee striker would be the target!

moving them as far to the side doesnt work for me,nor changing there arrows, making them wbs might tho,i havent tried that one.

Hmm, good point, Konami should fix that and add choosing who goes up and where they are for corners, a bit like Football Manager.

That's weird, mine go too far upfield and they get tired very easily, and both their stamina's are 86! :0

check if your position is sb or cb
put them on cb and they stay down in defence. like playing with four central defenders.

i got this from the official pes6 guide
