Hi. I am tring to get my 360 online but having a bit of trouble. i have plugged the cable into my laptop up stairs in my room (the router is downstairs. It keeps saying failed on the IP Address. i have tried turning my router on and off down stairs but i cant seem to get it going any suggestions on how i can get it going to play pro evo till my wireless adapter is here?

When you say you have plugged the cable in, Do you mean you've run the ethernet cable upstairs? Also when you're testing your connection have it on automatic.

I have plugged it in to my laptop cos i want it in to my room. i have a wireless connection on my laptop and i am waiting on the wireless adapter to come but i was just wondering if i could get it on line now. I do have it on auto.

I think you plug the cable into your router and not your laptop but i'm not quite sure.

My Xbox Live seemed to of buggered up.

About two weeks ago I signed into it last. Last week my router messed up and we had to get someone over to sort it out. Then Yesterday when I tryed to log into Live, it said "Disconnected", all the time. Anyone got any advice on what it could be ?

Got a 360 Elite for my birthday. So good. Has anybody got a good place to look at for upcoming games? I know GAME used to give you like a year down the line but there's not much going on there.

Also any recommendations for games?

Its old, but my mate recommended it, I just love the range of weaponry (well, items). Managed to stick a large lego head on a zombie then slashed him to death!
