Gloddle's English ML American Option file

This is a WIP, patience and constructive criticism are good things.

I have designed this file for those of us that love the Prem/Championship to be able to do a more realistic ML--so I have included a number of Championship sides to use.

*Done:

--All names corrected, players/comps/leagues
--Prem kits done
--Transfers for all leagues done (with many players created)
--Championship sides in place, w/ emblems; they are: Watford, West Brom, QPR, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Wolves, Charlton, Preston North End, Norwich City and Sheffield United (will probably add a few more)

*To do:

--apps and kits for Championship sides
--finish over-writing duplicates, overwrite a number of the shop players with youth players from around the world (suggestions welcomed)
--national team kits

There may be a beta version up soon, but since Red-town and Pategato have put up their super gnarly file as a beta I might just wait.

That's about it...what do you guys think? I am open to suggestions but make no promises--just because it isn't possible to do everything that everyone wants.

I have about 7 (or 8) slots open, I figure I will add a couple more Championship sides (Leicester, Cardiff) and then I though I would include some league one sides (Leeds, Leyton Orient, Forest). Thoughts or comments...?

The Championship sides are in C, it just seemed the most logical place to put them. I am using the in game editor.

BTW, if anyone has a good picture of the Preston North End away gk kit and give me a link or something--I would be eternally grateful! :D

Sure. PM me your email address. What I really need are some young players to overwrite the shop players with, big boss did this and I thought it would be a cool idea--to make the ML better, ya know?

In terms of bin/cue, I don't know how to make one--otherwise I would, sorry ! :(

*mini update: working on Championship rosters so that they are as accurate as possible (created teams only have 18 player slots so its kinda hard), doing stat adjustments for Championship sides, still trying to decide the rest of the teams to include.

Im actally doing my fmf Mexican league ,,, may i use your of as a base?
tnx in advance.. so far i have all unfiforms,, emblems.. no sponsors is the harda part.. ill begin tomorrow with the rosters..any ideas?

Thanks man! You're more than welcome to use my file as a base, but I have done a lot to it since I sent it to you--mostly in the form of adding youth players and over-writing duplicates. Seriously, I've added like 40 players--all under 25! I'm hoping that will make for a good ML...Check out this thread for sponsers/logos: http://forums.pesfan.com/showthread.php?t=183625
They're the best man, they'll hook you up with perfect png's of just about anything--all you got to do is get them a pic.

*Mini update for all: I'm working on apps for each new player right now and finishing up revamping the the Championship stats--also have a bunch of new teams in place: Blackpool, Leyton Orient, Millwall, Leicester, Bristol Rovers, Coventry, Cardiff, Nottingham Forrest. Still have to do kits/apps/stats for the new sides but that brings the total Championship/league 1 sides to 18. All names in lowercase and correct, all dupes gone, tons of players added and more coming still, tons of apps done as well. I'm hoping to be finished in two weeks, but don't hold me to that. :) Though I am going to try, though, b/c I'm ready to start my ML too!

Hey, I updated the nearly all of the EPL league and some La Liga and Serie A. I also edited the boots to try to make them look like some of the boots in real life. I updated many stats and formations. I know you have done a lot with the file now but just let me know whats up, the Championship League file sounds awesome, and if the kits for those teams look as good as they do on this file, I think you will have a great file. Just let me know if you need help, I was busy a little last week but now since I am home from school I can work on it gungho :)

hey i'm new to all this, but i was on my mates pc version and he has got all the championship sides and sky sports logos, all premiership kits etc - it looks amazing is this what your doing now and if so how do i aquire it from you - would be much apreciated wil give you my e-mail if you do it that way - let me know cheers

*Hey rammeal--send me the file you worked on, I'd like to take a look at it =). I'd love it if you would do some stats and apps for the created teams (like Millwall, Leyton Orient, Leicester, etc)--I just want to finish the kits for my created sides (waiting on some logos, etc) and get all the players in place and starting XI's correct. Then I'll send it your way if you want to do some stuff. Just let me know.

*SteJackson08--I'm not sure that I've seen a championship OF for PS3, but Blackpool's kit is fairly straight forward--you should be able to make it with the in-game editor (thats what I did for PS2)...

*muffinman--Because of some the limitations of PS2 software, code, etc. it is very difficult (but not impossible) to get the prem logo and others in place--it is much easier on a PC. If you want that kind of stuff you're going to need to get a patch, which will include an OF like I am making. Hopefully Konami will make editing easier and not harder with '09, but that would be seriously bucking the trend. =(

Just a quick update, been very busy lately: I've had a bit of a setback in that I lost a lot of my recent work (due mostly to my own idiocy)--this is not a disaster (not in the grand scheme of things), but it will mean doing a number of things over again.

I have finished all the kits and got all players in place; I decided to replace Watford b/c I just couldn't get their kits accurate, at least not to my liking--so I added Boca so the Superclassico can be played =); classic players replaced with youth players from around the world, tons of youth players added for all leagues; many stat updates; I have a few stats left to do (league 1 sides) and tons of apps...

I am hoping to be done by the end of next week!
