When i read about pes2009 i thought that it was going to be great. Sounded like they would finally fix up those dodgy refs that seem to call a foul for standing still and being run into, i thought they might even have the sense to fix up those rocket crosses that seem to travel at about 200 km/h. I finally buy the game come home, load it up and after my first 10 games im so incredibly disappointed. For X reasons. #1 The refs might not pull you up so much for the silly stupid fouls but now it seems like everytime i execute a sliding tackle that misses by a fraction i am carded, and then theres the matter of shooting. WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO IT?!?!?!?! I mean seriously did you purposely make it so no one could score from more than 18 yards anymore, i mean thats honestly ridiculous, and the power bar? I don't understand why u designers feel the need to change things every time you make a sequel. The power bar was perfect and now its a matter of perfectionism and even then it hardly ever suffices. As for the strikers/defenders battle, it seems like some of the fastest players seem to find it difficult to outrun the slowest of players, for example fernando torres can never outpace any center backs, cannavaro included who i might add is incredibly slow it is unbelievable in real life. Thanks a lot konami, you have gone and completely ruined a good game. This is one customer who will not be buying pes2010 but will be switching back to the fifa's. FUKING USELESS KONAMI!!!!

I agree with u ..many bug such as Referee , online are kind of annoying .
But I still enjoy the beautiful PES 2009 game .
Don't complain about it and
then u can find urself back to the old day again.

ffs tbh i just think you lot are just being picky, obviously if you look for bugs then you could even criticise the best of games. pes 09 is a vast improvement on 08 and at least konami are making the effort to go in the right direction, so just play the damm game and stop complainin ffs.

I tbh have not seen any bugs etc... The game is just boring this year. Nothing new in terms of gameplay. Like animations, different types of shots, tackles & player reactions. I just feel like I am playin a slowed down version of last years game. The keepers still look ridiculous even when making saves & the way the players strike the ball looks awkward. I am bored with the game tbh, I guess that is why I am enjoyin FIFA so much, cos it is different to the same old shit that Konami have re-released for the last 2-3 years.

Only one of those bugs is in the PC version, and thats the last one. And that has been in PES for years. Keepers who put the ball in the net from saving a side on shot.
So its not as as buggy as some would like to make out, infact there are very very few bugs in the PC version. The ones that are in concern AI errors, that are by no means "gamebreaking", merely annoying.
As for the tackling, it all depends on where the Ref is. If hes behind play and has a "bad" view he will card you for a dangerous looking tackle. I think it adds realism, as no ref gets it perfect 100% of the time.

ye but tbh im just gettin annoyed listen to it all, admitidley yeah there are bugs, but fifa has just as many. i actually reckon its cos HD aint all its cracked up to be, either that or publishers just havent got the skils to take full advantage of it, meaning they're falling behind. take a look at any other HD game and you'll see what i mean.

But it aint just the bugs that make the game shit??? Please, tell me in which way do you believe the game has improved?? Apart from graphically?? New game modes don;t mean shit to me, cos the gameplay is the same no matter what game mode your playin?? Konami have just become sloppy. It aint the fact that the game is goin nowhere that pisses me off the most, its the lies that Seabass & Konami have fed us for the last 6-10 months. I understand they can't come out and say that the game aint improved and that there are more bugs etc, would be commercial suicide. But they defernately shouldn't make out that the game is making massive strides forward,then release this joke of a game. I think they need to clear ut the top brass and bring n someone different with new ideas. Seabass has became stale, predictable and boring now. I hope he franchise loses out massivey for this, cos recon that is the only way they will pull there fingers out.
