Von Option File (V2.04 NOW ONLINE - 2009/10 Season Update)

ok im sure the question has been asked before but im very confused lol
i had version 1.03 and nw the new patch has come out so i downloaded it wen i put the game on yday
i think im still using the old edit data coz i haven't seen any changes on the game from the new patch
my question is i have been playing BAL and am on my 5th year now, will there be any changes with the new edit data? an will it be worth it?
if no then do i just replace the old edit data with the new v1.04?

I've got the same problem.
First I download KONAMI 1.20 patch, then from in-game SYSTEM SETTINGS->DONLOAD new update... Everything is 100% installed on my PS3.
Then copied all files from Von Option File v1.04 (included OF) to PS3 HDD.
I started PES 2009 but in game created players like Busguets, Danny, Taarabt and others are not registred to teams...
2 New teams Bayern and Werder have fake players names... :-(
What's wrong? And how to solve this problem?
Please help me !!
PS. Option File is the best !! Great Job !! I can't wait to another updates this OF

I have a question though: Before Konami's 1.20 release you created a lot of missing players. After the 1.20 release Konami have corrected many of these players (unfortunately I have been busy lately and haven't tried it myself)
In your vers. 1.4 - have you kept all of Konami's updates and deleted your own duplicates, or did you do it the other way around?

Yeah, just replace the old edit data with the new one and add any new kits/scans. Also, you should read this
If you are prompted to save the option file just as the game loads up, click no. Then go into edit mode and load the data. THEN save the data right after. If you already clicked yes and saved at the start when prompted, you will have to copy the 'edit data' file from your flash drive again
As for the changes to your BAL, there may be some but I'm not sure what they'll be (my guess would be a couple of name changes maybe) but I'm not really sure

Common problem. Here is the fix. It's in the first post:

The only way the classic players won't have real names is if you didn't read this:

Are you planning to add more chants to your OF? If so, in my case it would be great with some danish chants :lol:
I'm from Copenhagen, Denmark, and a huge fan of Brondby IF (that's why). I haven't been able to find one myself, so maybe you could help
No matter what, more chants in general would certainly improve your OF even further (think about how cool it is in the Premier League).

Really cannot say thank you enough for this Muff. The only thing I find myself doing each time one of your updated versions coming out is change the names of some players. For example, as a Villa fan I change M. Laursen, C. Davies, S. Petrov to Laursen, Davies and Petrov. Ashley Young has A YOUNG on his shirt and it should be YOUNG - Luke Young wears L YOUNG.
Is this something that annoys people as well?? Is it something worth your while changing for future updates.
I know that choosing more realistic starting XIs is pointless because of the computer picking a team but I think this would be worthwhile!!

Hey muff, what a fantastic update, really made the game worth playing. Was wondering if u could do us scots lads north of the boreder a huge favour? I done have a CLUE about this updating business, (took me ages 2 get it 2 work!lol) but i was wondering if u could add some more scottish teams to ur update? I have a link to an SPL OF if that would help u? It would be the perfect addition to a perfect OF

no european option file will be compatible with the US version of the game. at least its not possible with the ps3. It wasnt last year and wont be this year either im pretty sure of it. we will just have to wait sadly

It looks like a great file i'm just wondering are the three missing Champions League clubs added?(Bate,Anorthosis,Aalborg)
And can someone post the Liverpool squad? I think promising players like Pacheco,Bouzanis,Flora and Bruna are far more likely to get into the first team or forge a good career rather than Lindfield and Ryan Flynn who will more than likely be lower league players in the future
And are the German League players unlocked or do you have to win something?
