once again refs; some games should be regarded as special in the game such as big derbies milan-inter, boca-river, celtic-rangers, fenerbahce-galatasaray etc etc...

so refs would be much more flexible on sliding tackles around out of box and do not give away easy yellow/red cards etc...

A suggestion on Becoming a Legend : Do we really have to watch the rest of the game once we are substituted or if you have only made the bench? It is really boring to sit around and wait either for your turn or game to finish...

It is the only reason why I could not get hooked up with this mode. It must be an option to skip this for the people who are not really interested...

BAL advise : when U choose 2 play in a certain position e.g. CMF, U cud choose wt type of player U r i.e. tiredless tackler (essien), who will hv great stamina, balance, agility, response n sum pace;playmaker (scholes),who will hv great s/l passin abilities etc. so tht nt everyone's stats look so alike at the beginnin

Oh, I guess i play on the default as ive never went that deep into the settings. One more point I would like to add on the topic:
In fifa im scoring very repetitive goals were i open my body up and place it in the far corner, is pes similar to this or do you often score unpredictable goals. Judging by footage on youtube, it appears that no 2 goals are the same andif this is the case then thats great!

**Going to bed now**

That's my main complaint with Fifa too JB. I've only been playing it about 3 weeks, and I'm still in my first season in Championship with Sheff U (5th in League at min) but I've noticed the repetitiveness of goals.

I'd say about 50% of my goals are either headers or breakaways by a quick striker. In PES every goal feels different!

It's great being able to play in Championship with Sheff U against all official teams on Fifa but the game still doesn't quite have that "magic" feel that you get playing PES.

I think both games are great this year but I feel in order for PES to pull in front again, PES 2010 needs:

- A much improved Masters League. Add more teams. Make the Div 1 cup also include the teams from Div 2 and hopefully div 3 & 4 in 2010!! Include Champs Lg in ML. Be able to improve stadium as you become more successful.

- Improved animations. Players able to tussle for ball like Fifa. Better heading techniques and running techniques.

- Don't make it so easy to beat a player. I think in an ideal world 2010 should be somewhere between Fifa 09 and PES 2009. In PES its too easy to change direction and beat a player where as it's almost impossible in Fifa unless you have Messi or Ronaldo!

- Improve the sound. Better commentry and MUCH MUCH louder cheers when you score a goal! Improve crowd animations too (we're in 2009 and the crowds don't look much better than they were in 1999!).

2010 really is make or break for Konami but I feel if they implement the above I'll feel no need to buy Fifa 10 next year.

I used to feel in fifa same staff.. Firstly i played 6 mins match on slow and the easyest.. Then i start putting more and more difficulty till wordl class.. Goals still felt sort of breakaways, but it was more difficult to make a header.. Then i put level of speed on fast and then on legendary and turned Crosses from semi to manual and everything else is on semi, exept through passes and change lenght of the match from 6 to 10 mins! It is very difficult now and match can finish from 4:0 to 0:4 but 1 match per 5 fininishing draw 0:0 too.. It is important to change strategies and becouse of the match lenght it is worth to play with that.. Every match feels much more real this way.. If u didnt try that yet, go for it.. I remember how people used to complain about not scoring of Strikers of breakaways in Football manager 2008.. The producers set, that it is not reall to make strikers too accurate, and that is why i turned shooting on semi, crosses on manual and problem is sorted.. ;)

I want :

Master League:
- No rebirth players, so game will generate randomly players with random attributes every season.
- Make transfer harder, unless your club popularity is high.
- Make AI transfer smart (my player that has awesome attribute is bought by Inter, but they dont use him and his score record stopped).
- Each players has their own favourite club, players and make sure this feature will affect player transfer.
- Transfer history, so i can see what other club buying and selling in past.
- Player history.
- Player of the week, and maybe goal of the week/season.
- I can see other game highlight.

Become a Legend:
- More complicated training system for our player.
- We can share our feeling in current club, either is happy or frustrating.
- Improve rating system.
- Make player transfer reasonable.

Dear Konami:
For the next installments of the game I would like for players to fall occasionally when there is rain on the field. That is basically the one thing I want.
Kind Regards
Trevi.

Weather conditions that change during the game. There should be 6 different daytime looks, 4 different types of rain, fog, snow and anything else to do with weather.

Something that I've started to give thought (whenever I can) is the Passing.

It could be so much more better and realistic. I think the game definitely needs more "Passing Stats".

We needs to have STATS that can determine the Passing Range of a player, and the Vision or Through Ball ability of a player.

We also need to differentiate "Short Ground Passes" from "Long Ground Passes" -and- "Short Lofted Passes" from "Long Lofted Through Balls".

Not everyone can send the Ground passes that Riquelme can give, not everyone haves that vision.

Not everyone can give those cheeky "chipped" lofted passes that Francesco Totti usually comes up with.

And another thing is, that if New Passing Stats would be implemented.. it would be fitting to have New Passing Controls.

Maybe by quickly Double Tapping the "through ball" button -the- player sends a Long Ground Pass similar to the ones Riquelme pulls off, in between 2 or 3 opposition players.

This would make it an unique ability for players like Riquelme or Fabregas, you Double Tap the "through ground pass" button -and- the player attempts to send one of those Visionary Passes.

Or by Double Tapping the (x) button -the- player sends a different Type of pass, instead of a Long Through Pass.

And how well the pass goes would depend on the Individual's Passing Stats -but- also on how well you anticipate your Team-Mates "off-the-ball" Movement.

So it would be similar to when you send an "Early Cross". Which depends a lot on your anticipation and your team-mates movements.

But instead of an "Early Cross" -it- would be a Ground Pass.. maybe it could be labeled as an "Early Ground Pass" or a "Visionary Through Ball". Point of the matter is that it would be similar to the "Early Cross" but through the GROUND.

This would make visionary players like Riquelme much more useful and unique, because he would send very accurate "Early Through Balls". Just like David Beckham is very useful because of his accurate "Early Crosses".

I say this, because sure for some passes we could "Weight" the Pass. But "weighting" a Pass Consumes too much time, and Time is Key in Football.. it's much faster to simply Double Tap some button.

Similar to how we can Double Tap or Triple Tap when we Cross the ball.

PS- One more thing I think needs changing for 2010 is the speed of the game. I've been playing a lot of Fifa 09 lately and had a quick game on PES 2009 last night. The speed felt ridiculous in comparison!!! It felt like PES was in fast forward!!! Has anyone else experienced this?

I think Fifa is maybe slightly too slow but PES is def too fast. About half way in between the two for PES 2010 would be just about right :D
