I have a very irritating problem about pes 2009. My game runs 1.5 faster than normal. I even changed my graphic card from ati hd 4850 to nvidia gtx 260. Pes 2009 still runs faster and I am about to go mad. Can anyone help me about nvidia settings?
please help.

My current settings:
pes settings: frame skipping checked, vsync checked, LB unchecked
nvidia settings: default settings, no profile for pes 2009
vsync: application controlled.
resolution 1920x1080, 60 hz

Turn vertical sync off.

Yes, it's me unfortunatelly. :(
If I did not see how the game runs normally, I would think I want something impossible.

My system specs:
Gigabyte P35-S3, Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 2,33 ghz, Sparkle 896 mb Gtx 260 plus (216 core) 448 bit , Corsair 3*1 GbDDR 2 667 Ram, samsung 320 gb sata II, Maxtor 160 GB Sata, Jazz9928 5.1, Recom 600w Power Engine PSU, samsung 32" le32a558 full hd

Disable frame skipping - you don't need it. Switch vertical sync to Always off in the nVidia control panel. If that doeesn't work, switch it to Always on. We've done all this sort of thing before though.

If I disable frame skipping, in some scenes, I wait for some seconds watching black screen and then game runs too fast. (Especially at the beginning of the match, while players walk towards the pitch)

If switch vertical sync to always off, players fly I cannot see anything :)

I do not remember but, I think I try switching vertical sync to always on in the nvidia control panel. I will try it again this evening and write result here.
Thanks.

It makes sense for turning vertical sync off to do that so that's some solace. Can you force the monitor via its menu, not via software, to 60Hz? It really does sound like a monitor refresh rate issue as the card's settings are correct (once vsync is turned back on or to be controlled by applications).

Is it possible for you to try with another monitor at all?

I use a 1080p (full hd) lcd tv instead of monitor and there is no option for refresh rate in lcd tv's menu. But when I press "information button", it says "1920x1080 @ 60 hz". So we can be sure that tv's refresh rate is 60 hz. I tried using my 22" widecreen monitor, at 1680x1050 60hz, nothing changed.
The interesting point is that the problem occurs only when I press r1 button to run fast or x button for short pass. If I press only direction buttons, there is no problem. The worst type of the problem occurs if I press r1+x or/and square. Sometimes four players try to get the ball from the cpu's player and I hear the ball kicking effect 3 times in one second :)
I wish you could see how my game runs.

To be fair, it sounds quite comical. Not sure what to suggest as the problem isn't as one would expect you to encounter it. I also use a TV at 1920 x 1080 and its fine on that too.

Maybe turn off Frame Skipping?
Or maybe you are using dx10?

Patch Notes

Become A Legend crash issues

Versions 1.0 and 1.1 both suffer from regular crashes in Become A Legend mode despite patch 1.1 being released to fix such issues. The following steps are suggested to prevent the crashes from affecting your game:

-Do not use the auto-save feature
-Play using a resolutiion of 1280x800 or less
-Rotate save game slots so that you will only have to replay one match if the game crashes.

Pls help me.. when i want install patch 1.40 .. msg display at my pc like this,"The upgrade patch can't be installed by the window Installer Servive because the program to be upgrade may be missing,or the upgrade patch may update a diffrent version of the program"

Hello mates, I find a little problem with settings. I cant check high quality there, cos VRAM 256MB is needed and mine is 128MB. Is there any way to resolve this, cos I know my VGA can run the game in high quality besides 128MB VRAM.

Thanks!

hello everybody! im very new to this forum but ive been playing PES for as long as i can remember. ive always preferred it to fifa. well, here's my problem:
i just got a new graphics card, right? (a Sapphire HD4870) and then i installed vista, erasing XP. but then PES 2009 doesnt run in vista! and ive got too many saved games and goals to never see them again! HELP!

the game loads OK, the videos come, and when it says "press any button", and i press any button, it crashes to desktop. this has never happened to me before, and some friends of mine are playing PES 2009 on vista OK.
this is the error that comes:

That's the file causing the error. Did you reinstall PES or are you using the version installed via XP? If the latter, reinstall via Vista and see if that helps at all.
