That's very strange indeed. I've done this procedure several times. Just make sure that the OF is saved in your USB device like this: PS3/SAVEDATA. Also check to see if you unziped the OF. It is definetley not because of version 1.4. Oh...maybe you downloaded stringer's summer update, which is not the complete OF. Go to the first page of this post and there you shouyld have 2 links, one with the complete OF and the other is the update that you should use only after you loaded the complete OF....I don't know if it is this though, you must check...

Hey guys, I already tried with StringerBell's option file and it doesn't work with version 1.4. That version error comes up and nothing from StringerBell's option file works. I did get stillshady's and it worked. JessieBening-thank you for finding that stillshady's works! I'm going to use that and update major transfers on my own.
ok then...can you tell me exactly which one from shaady did you use? and also, what should I do first: update to 1.4 then download the OF, or first download to OF then update to 1.4? I am asking cause my new console just arrived and I am starting from scratch, my pes game is on original out of the box, no updates have been done yet...thanks!!
ok, so this is what I did, and worked fine: uploaded the 1.40 konami patch, before the game itself loaded. Then went to system settings, and hit the download again. It asked me If I wanted to download england's new kits and some new players. I agreed. It downloaded and installed. Then I closed the game and downloaded shady's last update (shady4.rar). The loaded the game again and everything worked perfectly! So, now I am working on most transfers, creating some players to complete some bundesliga squad that shady introduced in his OF. I am also updating some national teams roster. By the end of summers tranfers I should have an updated OF compatible with konami 1.40 for NA games!
Stringer from the bundesliga shady did not create Wolfsburg, and I really wante to put them in the game. Can you send me their logo, and most important the transparent files for the kits? Thanks!

The sponsor for Wolfsburg is no longer Polo or Ein Herz fur Der Kinder they want back to VW. Either way those can be found in Abstruso's OF he posted a link for them somewhere in there. Just curious, Shady had patched his OF to the latest update?

No, he did not patch it to last update. I think that what happened is that I did not click the install on system settings, and maybe that's why his OF did not give an error message (wrong version edit data). What I did was exactly like this:
1 - put the dvd inside.
2 - before the game loaded a message asked me to update to 1.40. I agreed! After it downloaded the game finally began to run.
3 - Everything loaded just fine. So, I went to system settings, and clicked the download again, inside the game. A message appeared asking me to update the new england kit and some players. I agreed. It downloaded and installed automatically.
4 - I did not click the install on system settings!!
5 - Closed the game and downloaded shady'OF, whcich is compatible with konmai's new england update.
6 - Loaded the game again and everything worked fine.
So, I think that I downloaded 1.40 but did not install. And at the same time, from inside the game on system settings, I was able to download and install the new england update which made my game compatible with shady's OF. But the strange part is, that it should work with yours too...maybe I'll try sometime, but right now I've done so many transfers that I might stick with it...

If you mean mine no its not compatible with that bs update that was put out. I mean try it and see what happens I updated until the England kit came out. If there is anyone out there that wants to update it for me than that would be cool I'd help them out but I don't see there being a big demand for it
BolivianFire: still shadys latest option file (which was posted at the beginning of April) is compatible with North American update 1.4. I don't know why, because Stringer Bell's isn't and no other NA option file that I know of is compatible with 1.4. All I know is still shadys does work and it's the only one if you have update 1.4. You will just have to manually perform summer transfers and promoted teams won't be on of course. Also, there are only a handful of Bundesliga teams on Still Shady's.

I'm having a bit of trouble with your OF. I've unzipped everything to my flashdrive and when I check it on my ps3, it doesn't give me all the pngs. When I open the USB drive, it gives me the system data, the edit date and only a handful of pngs. A couple of German clubs I reckon. All the German clubs are there though but quite a few players missing still. All other kits aren't in the file and I'm not sure why to be honest.

Perhaps I did the one summer transfer update that covered till June I gues I can release my edit data again if you guys want it.

Your problem is you didnt dl the original OF. it seems you dl'ed my update first dl the larger file and copy that to your PS3.

Unless I've missed a link, I'm sure I dl'd your original file. It kind of threw me off as it was only 4 MB which seemed rather small. The only pngs it gave me were a couple of Bundesliga clubs. Thanks for response

Hmm, okay something strange is going on. I used the filefront link you posted and on the actualy filefront page, it says the file is 9.88 MB. However, when I click on the "Download Now" button it says the file is only 4.00 MB. If you can look into that it would be much appreciated.

Ok this is what happened. A while back Don Sweeney one of the admins offered to post my OF file on his rapid share account. it seems as though when this happene he may have posted an incomplete file. My OF has about 100 plus files to copy over not 20. So yeah its basicly the wrong file your right. What i'll do is tomorrow I will upload the correct file for you.
