Installation (ON A NEW COPY OF PES):
**all steps are required**


1. Decompress the file (extract only one part, all parts will be be extracted in the same place)

2. Copy (PES2010_EDIT01.bin) from the save folder in the patch to the SAVE folder of the game, should be (C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2010\save), replace old file if it asks.

3. Backup then Replace (pes2010.exe) and (settings.exe) with the ones from the patch.

4. Copy the kitserver folder in the Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 installation folder, should be: (C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2010), then open the kitserver folder and run manager.exe then click attach, then close.


P.S.: Directories are the ones by default installation, if you have changed the defaults use your directories.

P.S.: Do not update the game after installing the patch.

P.S.: if you are using a previous version of SMoKE patch no need for fresh copy, but its necessary to delete old kitserver folder before copying the new folder.

the patch have its own files which will turn the game to 1.3 (no update required)
it is the same system we used in pes smoke patch 2009.

I am having Some problems with this I have it installed ok but below

Arsenal are still called North London.

Other teams sections there are loads of teams just called C15 etc. Anyone else have this?

its should not do that, be sure to follow the install instruction exactly as descried in the readme file.

it is great patch really
but there is problem
when i start master league then save it
next time i want to log into master league the game stopped and get out to windows
please help and fix it if u can

basically it wont extract

so how the hell do you extract this properly

1.some club in other leagues still dont have name for the team n for player ( example :- C01 C03 - Player1 Player2 PLayer3 ? why n how i solve this?
2.i cant start master league couse it will make error n need to be close? why n how do i play in master league?

im using konami 1.3 now

It's a mess in Other Leagues B.
And also in Bundesliga,

how can we fix this problem?

the problem you have is strange, i am sure there is something not done correctly, if you had another patch before, be sure that you have deleted the old kitserver before installing the one from the patch. and be sure the files from the save folder are copied in the save folder of the game. and ofcourse do not update the game after installing the patch.

i`ve deleted all kitserver,edit.bin n option.bin before installing smoke patch n i did i put the save OF into my documents/konami/Pro Evolution Soccer 2010/save

jus curious when the first time im running pes2010 ...they show me "Applying download content and after that [Edit Data] they ask me to overwrite data
so wat should i do now?

aha,, there is your problem, when you apply the download the save files are overwritten, do not apply, i do strongly recommend deleting the update files (should be located in a download folder somewhere in documents and settings)

i noticed that do not apply but still bothering me.!!!!! where the file so i can deleted manually? do u know where is it hidding? im using windows7

i dont know exactly the location, search for a (download) folder in documents and settings, it is there somewhere.
