PES 2010 Crashing.

I always press start in the tunnel. The top and bottom of the screen is covered with a black line as if it's a cut scene. It automatically shoots to the match when the players leave the tunnel. I think that there is a bug as what you said, I think you're right their mate.

I would also be very annoyed if my PS3 was affected in any way shape or form as they do not send you a new PS3 for free anymore, you have to pay £121. I've noticed than in any game if it crashes and you hold the power button down, the PS3 bleeps a few times then turns off after around 20 seconds. This worries me as I feel the harddrive could be getting effected. As I said my fingers are crossed until they fix this situation...

It's really odd that this is only happening to certain people, but there doesn't as yet seem to be a common element, other than the issue mostly occurring on the PS3. I myself have played over 200 matches (PS3) without a single game freeze at the the tunnel intro, and I almost always let it play out without pressing start. I have had the game crash during the initial loading screen, right before the Konami logo, but that's only ever happened to me twice.

best bet to test it create another user and sim a bunch of master league games maybe a whole season worth. see if it freezes or not if not then id blame the system data...but thats what i had to do to fix mine

Just a quick 1, I've noticed my game has stopped freezing, hope it stays this way though. Since my last update i haven't had any probs. Can anybody confirm this?

i had a freeze yesterday the usuall tunnel freeze and i hate it becuase i haft to reset my ps3 and it makes that horrible beeping sound, i think pes 2010 partly broke my old ps3 due to keep reseting it.

Any kitserver-heavy OF addon will be prone to crashing your game.
Especially after 1.03 patch, I suspect it's a conflict between some of the DLC graphics and the kitserver, but a patch designed around the 1.03 patch won't be a problem.

Kitserver is a great tool, one I would not be without, but I only add stuff to it myself. At the moment I got sweat patch, a few National kits and two-three faces. I have no crash issues what so ever anymore. I used to have pespatch-patch, SM patch and similar bigpatches installed, but the game became more sluggish and unresponsive, and prone to crashes.
It's kinda logical that adding 250-500mb of uncompressed unofficial data to a game will affect the performance and stability.

There is people who claims to not have an option file and it still freezes. I was convinced at one point it was to do with the Option Files because if any one can remember Pes 2009 had crashes aswell and i seriously believed it was the OF. :no:

I dont have an option file beacuse ther isnt 1 out ther which has everything that i want so im doing my own editing and making kits etc and it takes longer to load up because ov whta i have added and altered

I just dont use the start button to skip cutscenes and let the game run, when i do that i have no freezes

It happens to me, at the tunnel cut scene but when my ps3 had the YLOD two weeks ago i put it down to the ps3. I now have a new slim ps3 and it has crashed 3 times, 1 at the tunnel and the other two during loading pes2010.

I think u would be happy with Rosh's Option File. I am currently using his and he does updates aswell, i'm sure he'll update it again for the January transfers. There are others available but i'm just letting u know that Rosh's OF does the trick for me.:D

I had loads of tunes last year on PES 09 but when it started crashing i deleted them and that didn't help because it still crashed after that. I haven't done any this year for PES2010, and it still freezes.:realmad:

Glad to know that Konami is aware of the crashing on our PS3's, but playin offline is not good enough.

I must say i only get crashes in the tunnel, but there is talks of it elsewhere.


I would like to hear where else in the game are people havin crashes, if its in the tunnel the remedy is to simply press start before the cut scene, or as we have been told to play offline. LOL, but if there are other crashes, whats the remedy??????

I must say (touch wood ) but i haven't had a crash since my last update, can any one confirm this or am i just having a lucky run.

It happens to mee too in the tunnel b4 the match starts, the players are walking out it freezes but Jon Champion carries on talking.

Mine crashed twice today...

First the usual tunnel crash that we get now and again...

Then I restarted the game, then started the match and as I passed the ball in the second half and it just froze and crashed :( I had to start the match again...
