Hello all

Tomorrow , Konami will relase first data of PEs2011.. Due to hints from people who already attended to Konami press conference (not public), game is a revolution instead of Evolution.. Depending on these hints:

1- Total Freedom : manual passing / manual shooting / not running on railways anymore
2- Total 360 implementation: more free roaming players/ ai also can use 360 degree movements..
3- New animation system ..

As seabass already conveyed; team is working on PES2011 for last two years.... So a totally new enginge and animation system can be implemented..

I'm a lil upset that community of PESGAMING is not so hyped and excited for the very first news .. But I'm sure that this mood will be dramatically changed after tomorrow..

you gotta be kidding me, they said that about PES09 and PES10...I'm sorry I'm not eating up their shit again.

They will implement total 360 etc. but that is not what is wrong with pes!!!

I'll have a look at the gameplay movies and if they don't impress Seabass can go shove my copy up his ass. Last year when the gameply movies came out I was like "this looks shit" but everyone on this site got an orgasm and look now...

Seabass killed PES...end of story

The fifa games have really caught up, and I'm really enjoying them..especially FIFA 2010 World Cup

Considering the let-down of the last 3 versions (especially 08 & 09) is it really that much of a shock?

Like everyone else I 'hope' for something spectacular, but as has already been said, we've been let down before...

the fact than Seacunt said they've been developing PES2011 for 2 years now just shows it's going to be the same mess as 08/09/10.

They said exactly that about the previous 2 editions...I don't buy it this time. I miss PES, really I do! And that is why I bought a second hand copy of PES2010 a month ago just to sell it after 2 weeks.

Konami should quit going after licenses, it seems that is what they are after these days. We have edit mode so WTF?

I get the idea Seabass are in awe off Fifa and their licenses, number of teams etc and are trying to be like Fifa instead of following their own direction. At least we know it's probable that there will be many more leagues in master league with the addition of the Copa Liberatos...but still, the gameplay is in CRITICAL need of attention!

i simply cannot see how they are going to turn it around...and the PES series have suffered so much that it is impossible to turn it around in one year. If this years game is a step in the right direction only next year will we see something really good that will take the mantle back from FIFA! Pes is just too far behind now to do everything in one year.

Hopefully PES2012, which they started developing for since a baby T-Rex took it's first shit in 10000000000000000 BC, is the game we all pray for.

R9NALD9:

I already bought Fifa World Cup 2010 too... To waste time till October (relaese of PES) .. You are so PESimistic imo... PES2010 was a very big step forward after 2008&2009 .. And I bet with everyone that PES2010 is a better game than Fifa in many areas... Here is my small summary...

Fifa is better :
Animations (a lot better I have to confess)
Refree ( a lot better)
Player crashing physique
Manual passing
360 movement
Camera customization
Sounds

PES is better:
Player uniquiness (appereance & gameplay)
Overall Grafix (Pitch desgin / lighting / shadows / player models)
AI (fifa's AI is awful.. )
Editing
Long Balls and Crosses (ball physique)

As you see on the list ( and I'm sure you also admit my list) there is no big difference between two games.. Fifa's marketing is a lot better of course.. And 2008/2009 disasters harmed our belief to KOnamI..

If PES wants to be the take the crown undoubtaly back.. here is what it has to offer :
- Animations has to be re-written
- Freedom of passing/movement/shooting has to be re-implemented
- Player crashes and physique has to be re-written
- Camera customization has to be re-implemented( camera tillting at least)
- Sounds & commentary has to be revised ( weird ball soud has to be erased)

IF these are implemented for PES 2011 , it will take its crown back offically.. And all clues provided by WENB - Adam (already attented on press conference) is showing KOnami is on the right way...

If they have been working on PES 2011 for two years and it turns put to be rubbish, just think how stupid they will look! Obviosely they won't please everybody, but if it is rubbish then I think they will make up some excuse! I'm not sure what but they will say something. I do think PES 2011 will be good, I am still playing PES 2010 even though people critisise it, a I enjoy this game, if they only made 2011 slightly better I would not mind as much impo, yes I would be abit dissapointed, as they have been worrking on it for two years!

I think if Pes can move around with an organic fluid movement engine then it'll be great. What I'm definitely expecting are goalkeepers to be fully addressed and corrected along with new commentary and the bundesliga. I think we may also get an online ML but I am clueless as to how that will actually work. 2011 will be a 9 month game for sure though. Halo reach and pes 11. Gona be good. There's so much I want to say be writting on my blackberry gives my hands cramp

I hear you, there is still some stuff that PES does indeed do a lot better!

The only problem is that Fifa is really taking strides (I'm not bashing, I'm merely stating the facts)...the player uniqueness in fifa world cup is a LOT better than fifa 10, and if they can improve that even more then pes is in real trouble as I've always felt that is the one thing pes has over fifa.

Regarding graphics...I don't give a shit

PES has become terribly arcady, and I'm not saying fifa is ultra realism, fifa has plenty of faults too. But PES has really gone backwards...I just cannot understand how some of the people can fall for Konami's empty promises (been working on this for 2 years) for the 3rd year running. Each year we are promised a complete overhaul, and every year we get minor upgrades, weaker AI, easier gameplay etc.

There was a time that I would've defende PES with my life, but seriously...Konami has messed up one too many times. IMHO Fifa World Cup is the most enjoyable football game since pes 6.

I do hope Konami turn things around, but I'll be surprised if that happens.

PES needs:

- A complete animation overhaul, from scratch
- decent 360 implementation (no last minute stuff like pes10)
- going back to their roots (where is the realism?)
- Complete overhaul of the post-match ratings system (this might seem minor but it kills the Be a Legend mode completely for me and pisses me off to know a guy who scored 4 goals got a 7...I mean seriously)
- FFS a complete overhaul of the commentary...the lines used in their games are laughable and takes away all the realism
- SLOW DOWN THE FREAKING PACE
- make the AI difficult for heavens sake...it was in pes 6 last that I actually feared playing a big team. All the next generation games it's a matter of how many goals am I going to score...and yes that is against top player.
- Redo the presentation of the whole game. The menus are weird and useless, the ingame presentation is lacklustre. Wow no loading times...who gives a fuck, I'd rather have much more detailed presentation and wait a minute or two for it to load.
- more stadiums...really, there is no way that they can't aquire more...fifa has 50+ stadiums, pes10 has 23 or something...which 2 of them are exactly the same only supporting different teams.
- how about some extra ratings? I must give them credit though the card system was unique and clever...but some extra attributes would be nice and add to the depth
- more leagues, more balls, more teams

Each can have a different view, for me, I really enjoy 2010, although it is still have some problems. There is nothing perfrect in the end. I just played for almost 9 hours continiously with friends last friday, and I really enjoy the competation.

Some of the few things which I believe need to be fixed:

- Goal keepers (how many times did we say it).
- Refs: seems like refs just ignore clear PK's for no reason but bad coding. Also, something must be done when some one is fouled after passing or shooting and the ref would do nothing.
- Animations: more relastic and less robotic movments.
- Switch back to old penalty system.
- Online: How many times did we say that again? it has improved from 08 & 09, but still have major issues. Cant recall how many games I had to quit because of delay in repsonse time.
- Online ranking should be changed, I drop like 20 points when I lose a game and gain like 4 or 5 when I win.
- More stadiums, we cant have enough.

I bet with all the new features we still won't see any snow on the pitch or be able to play with rainy/snowy weather during day time. And what about that ridiculous invisible force field around a player when doing throw-ins? Will we finally get a "trigger run" button on offense?

I agree with everyone else about the licenses not being important, just create the club/player likenesses and let us handle the rest.

ive aleady stated my op about fifa wc 10 , yh its great in some places , but then it has its weaknesses like individuality which are pissin me off.

Its all to do with animations ,and movments , i do think majority of Pes fans for the last two years have been yelling out for , animations and movment. the gameplay with GKS and Refs needs to be fixed espeically refs , but saying that konami might even implore updates for this.

Response times , and jesus.... online !!!!!!!! needs to be fixed aswell big time.

and r9nald9 pace of the game............ i dont see why not Konami use EAs method of allowing us to alter the pace of the game like they use to back on PS.

yes we do hear this stuff everyear , animations and movments got to change, they talked about 360 being improved last year and were still crying.,

ANIMATIONS for me is the key, A completly new engine..,,,,, u know i hope thye not lying, this time round.

No doubt Konami fucked up going onto next gen. So much so that it has set them back 3 installments. Also took them some time to start listening to the fans. The extra 200 staff (Blue Sky Team) have been working on PES2011 and havent been working on PES2010 so we have been informed. It is yet to be seen but the mumblings from within the industry is that its looking good. We will see for ourselves soon enough.

Sure we are all fed up with the let downs. It is time for Konami to step up and deliver.
I await patiently
