Right i am back... My disc broke back in March and i have only in the past week 1/2 replaced the game. (due to holiday away over easter and then final year uni exams) but to sum up my 6th season ended winning everything again which is good but losing my last home game in the league.

Onto the 7th season. Tried to sell Pato and failed, still kept him on the transfer list. Ferdinand up for sale and Scholes retiring at the end of the season. My youth player Gam Lang has stayed and is starting.

So a good start to the season. Rooney has had a great start, scoring more then usual. Abate has had a mixed and struggled start, from top scorer and easy scorer he has found it difficult to get goals and only just started finding it easy in the last few games.

Hopefully i can keep up the pace. I think i will sell Wijnaldum as after his first season the past few seasons have been average and then maybe invest in a British RM for the squad role. Still trying to sell Pato to lower the wages and so the chances can go to Macheda and the youth wonder Gam Lang.

@ Cruefan, you are not very competetive as you said you play on regular and when i play on regular, i dont lose a single match. In regular, the cpu runs slow, sloppy passes etc. I cannot imagine myself doing regular on an ml, it just would be so boring!

I jusr started a ML with Fullham so far just played 4 games first won 2-1, second tie 2-2 third won 2-1 and fourth won 5-0, Zamora is a beast so far ..

I did actually play the one above Regular when i started and then the one above that for the big games.

However i have not long started playing again after a 2 month gap(disc broke, holiday and uni exams) so i am trying to get as many games done so i can basically get my skill back to normal and get my gameplay back too.

I have over the past few games just moved back up the difficulty too and i am still not losing too many.

When i started playing again it was the defending which was the problem, it was the scoring, so i did regular and what not to get me back to normal as such

Yh but i have played regular and top player and the defending's the sam and so is the cpu's strategy - the main difference is the speed which i can only notice. Once i played on top player on 10 mins, arsenal vs aston villa and i won 13-0!
And the fact that your disc broke is an excuse, this is the first pes i have had as i only got the ps3 and pes 2 months ago and the first time i played it, i won esily on professional so i moved it to top player

I've played on regular for a laugh thinking "this is gonna be a goal feast." But it's really not. I play on TP in ML, always have done since playing PES, but having a quick exhibition on regular to see what it's like and I beat Man Utd 2-1 with my Master League team. Fair enough I had a billion more shots and they had about 2, but the game didn't seem laughably unrealistic.

You just play it how you feel comfortable, not all the best players play on Top Player because of the high level of scripting in it. A friend of mine plays his ML on Professional and has had about the same joy as me in trophy wins but when we play head to head it's about even.

I never say to him I'm a better player than him because I play the game on a higher level than he does. It's just preference whether you play PES on Regular, Professional or Top Player.

That being said if 89cruefan starts beating every team 5-0 home and away it might be time to knock it up a level, but that's up to him.

Yeah, i agree with you, but the defence and goalkeeping on regular is the same on top player (actually not sure about defence) however you can always run and dribble anyone down the wing and score solo's. For example i can easily do a solo with probably eboue from half way (which i once did) and i bet you, eboue can never do a solo in his whole life.
And according to me, the fun bit about ml is you can improve younsters to ratings in the 90's so you can win more cups and attract more worldwide attention. But what is the point when cruefan is winning everything and te fact that he has so good players straight way makes it seem that what is the point of buying young players.
I understand what you say but in my opinion he should be playing master league online or Fifa 11 ultimate team because players dont really improve and it mathes the way cruefan plays.

I have turned it up so i now play the hardest difficulty on the big games, and then one down on the smaller games. There are less high scores(the high scoring games usually happen against the poor sides at home). Most my games i am total full on attack and will not rest until i get 3 goals atleast in the homegomes and atleast 2 goals in the away games. Again its total persistance and i never give up.

To me i actually find scoring the hardest and most frustrating thing so far. I think for me next year Pes needs to keep the difficulty as it is, but almost make it easier for the cpu to score.. Ie some weird games i can have 8 shots in the whole game, 4 of them being on target and 4 being goals... And then the opposition will have something like 10-15 shots and they will be lucky to get one goal.

Atm the difficulty is perfect for me, i just wish the cpu actually converted more of their chances to goals, like they did in pes2010, i remember having amazing games against City, Madrid etc where the scorelines could be 3-2, 3-3, 4-3 etc.

Your goal difference must be high and how much times have you won the treble.
I think this years difficulties actually quite easy considering the fact that when i play on top player as crystal palace i win 7-0 and always breaking through the opposition & end up having 70% possession. I heard in Pes 2012 there gonna tweak the difficulty so it is harder to dribble and get past players - cant wait

yeh my goal difference was pretty high, mainly because the AI for scoring goals is pretty poor. Not only in games but in the rest of the league.

I scored 97 goals in the season, which isnt too unrealistic considering in the 09/10 season Chelsea scored over 100 and well a lot of teams get near the 80s/90s...
However in Pes it is very unrealistic as most the top teams fail to get over 50 goals in a season, which is very poor.

I won it a lot, but not in the past season.

I actually think the difficulty is fine, all they need to change is making the CPU shoot and score more... That would equal things out, the amount of times the opposition have 2-3 chances, all of the sitters and miss them all.

Finished the season losing the CL final and drawing the last two games.

During the summer i promoted a youth player... midfielder Muncosa rated 77 overall. Scholes retired and became a coach.

I also sold Bale over the summer period. He was getting on a bit and i was trying to lower the wage bill and get younger players in.

New season started(due to failing to win the CL i am now not in the super cup or the club international cup)

1-0 Chelsea. Hernandez
3-0 West Ham. Owen(2), Abate
2-1 Birmingham. Owen, Abate
1-2 Liverpool. Abate

So within the first 4 games of the season i have conceded 3 goals and already lost a game.

Currently brushing aside most teams and I am top of the Premier League, 2 points ahead of Manchester United. Last game against Chelsea was an interesting one, with Didier Drogba seemingly all but wrapped up the game in the 79th, but then up steps Kuyt (on as a sub for Ibrahimovic) to bag a hat-trick in the 82nd, 85th and 90th minute to leave Chelsea in real trouble in 19th after 6 games. Ibrahimovic's Liverpool career may be a short one, I may try to offload him in January and buy Aguero or Higuain. Higuain may be more likely as I have just sold Fernando Torres to Real Madrid in the summer, and tracking Higuains stats for the season shows he has played no games. Won the 1st Champions League group game, second in Group C however on goal difference and I am yet to play an FA Cup game.

Santon is 105 at my eighth season at master league whilst rakitic is 95 so you do have a lot of huge potential in these players

I just finished my 4-5th season and I started off with a fresh team with default Master League players. I play on top player 10 minute matches.

After Winning the champions league and finishing 5th last season and winning the league before that, I finally won any trophies available to me.

I won the super cup, world club cup? Champions League, FA Cup and The Premier League all in one season. I'm not 100% sure on what me team is in terms of overall ratings but the squad is something like this.

Just starting my 2nd season with Spurs, after winning the Europa League(Ajax took me out of the CL playoffs) and the Premiership by 12 points over MU. Benzema scored like 40 goals last season and there was a crazy 90m offer from Marseille but I decided to turn it down. I was scared Benzema wouldn't keep up his level this season but he proved me completely wrong.

i build up my team of crap players on dynamic then play them good so they will increase. personally, i would never get c.ronaldo or ibra because they ruin the fun of master league
