What about annoying things?

Do teams make retarded transfer decisions like last year?(half of a team sold in 1st transfer window) What about subbing My Player after 5 mins? Teammates still can't see the difference between head and ass? Also what about formations? Still the same shit with 3 DMF and 1 CF? Last year I wanted to play alongside Aguero, but coach didn't let him play because of 4-5-1 formation... If anyone can answer the questions...

A really retarded thing i've noticed is since i joined Udinese Di Natale has been on bad form arrow for nearly half a season .He's not played while i've been at the club despite him being the highest rated player up front .I set transfers to low like i always do but tbh i've not noticed or looked for any teams transfer activity.The only transfer that i've noticed is Goetze to Udinese.Which is slightly unrealistic but not to bad.
Gone are the 3 dmf bullshit , but the strange thing is the manager seems to attack more rather than throwing men behind the ball.A.I players are lot more intelligent now and they will actually pass back and they pick out the through ball more consistantely.

But this is a part of football. Players will have bad seasons due to many circumstances.
I have yet to complete my first season but so far, except for 1-2 situations
i'm very pleased with the AI.
The only annoying thing that comes to my mind is the agent-meetings every other week
where u just see your training progress.

What a teams star player don't ever make the bench even though he's head and shoulders above every other player at the club.I'ts clearly a game glitch. He doesn't even get in the training match squads

Di Natale has a stunning 7/8 in Form as well, so he should be green and orange on a regular basis.


Anyway, I have not yet seen Barcelona, Real Madrid or any Manchester club selling all their star players and replacing them with rubbish. In three transfer windows, the only high profile transfer I've noticed is Ibrahimovich's move from Milan to Arsenal.

Some high 70's and low 80's players also switched clubs, but no real shift in power between clubs yet.

I wouldn't call Ibra's move to Arsenal realistic, but I wouldn't call it unrealistic in a game such as this either. Arsenal being mid table for the 2nd season in a row needed to pack some more punch to get points, and Ibra is a goal getter.

I'm a bit annoyed at always starting in a Dutch crap team though, I liked the 2011 solution where you could inspect and choose between low-lower mid range clubs from several countries.

But in all fairness, I personally forwarded the idea to start off in a less reputed country to hone your skills and to get a natural difficulty increase by moving to harder leagues, rather than the game just increasing the game speed as your player got better, as pes 2009,10 and 11 did to keep the game somewhat "difficult".

That Ibra move is like Goetze joining Undinese.
Slightly believable.Not like Messi signing for Birmingham as he did in last years Bal for me:lol:.

Last year, once I realized how bad the transfers was, I basically stopped playing BAL.
I did not really notice until I got a contract offer from Barcelona in the 3rd or 4th transfer window, and when I accepted and saw the starting line-up I was overcome by disappointment as I was the star of the team at 80ish overall ability.

If transfers show sign of retardedness, I'll just disable it. So all in all I like that option as a fail safe.

I have won the UEFA midfielder of the year award despite i have simulated two seasons in a row... Also noticed some old players become younger like Inzaghi was traded second seasong and his age was 16. Also its annoying its not possible to train new positions(and skill moves). I was expecting such posibility comes then you are older or move to bigger club, but it didnt happened :/

It happens eventually. Your agent tells you.

And it doesn't look like a team changes their formation from game to game, but on the other hand, you can change a team's settings before you start a new BAL save and those settings will be final on your save (in case you wanted your favorite team to play a specific formation, for instance).

There hasn't been that many retarded transfers on my save (Normal transfer frequency, I was fooled by the flavor text). I guess Chicharito going to Atletico Madrid in the first season, Steven Gerrard going to United (he ALWAYS goes to United on my saves, regardless of what edition I'm playing) and Xavi switching teams TWICE during a single year (once to Inter during january, the other to Arsenal after the season) was a little stupid but other than that, there hasn't been many.

Does anyone know if the most annoying bug they've had in the previous two versions (-10 and -11) has been fixed?

By that I mean the bug where the game makes your player suddenly worse than what he was before (at least if your player is totally dominating).

no matter what i do on the pitch, i manage to get crappy ratings, i'm frustrated, it definitely needs some patching.

or maybe i should find a way "off the pitch"!

What would you guys suggest we set the transfer frequency at?

if it is a low, it is very harder to sign a player so i set it to medium. i couldn't even get neymar who is a free agent on medium eventhough i was a d2 team

I don't know about you guys, but in my case, if the ball is in the air anywhere near my player I lose control. My player chases the ball and often ends up in a bad position. I'm having to use super cancel ALL THE TIME.

I just came on here to write that, its so frustrating, when corners come in and cleared by def my player will run out of the box when i want him to stay :realmad:, when defending a corner my player runs into the box when i want him outside :realmad:

When the ball is in the air, you can manually take control of your player by pressing r2 then move him about

Ok I tried that and it didn't work. This is REALLY annoying this year. I don't remember it being this much of a problem last year. The AI's controlling my player too much.
