Completely outdated rosters

PES has been horrible in the past with rosters but my god this year is horrible. Players that were loan and return at the end of the season arent in their original clubs. They could have at leased updated that.

There will be a DLC that fixes most of the rosters in the near future.

Besides, it took me about an hour to fix the most important transfers in all the leagues, and fixing team strategies for most English teams.

I do think that eventhough you can fix it quickly, it's a shame that nowdays you can't have an updated game from the first day you buy it. The update should be available MAX next day of the game release. I hope players stats are fixed also (Buffon 98 on defense??? yes 10 years ago maybe)

anybody with a feeling how to handle roster update DLC (possibly in November HypeD) with an installed option file? do we reject the roster part of the download?

Is the roster update confirmed though? I can't remember a roster update so soon after a release and usually they're not entirely thorough either. I'm more intrigued to see if they've fixed the bug that screwed up everyone's option files with official patches.

A roster update is confirmed.

The update is awaiting approval, Jon Murphy says. I imagine that's approval from Sony and Microsoft.
He also said that news about the update (hoping he's referring to a release date) should surface this week.

Taken from his Twitter account.

Last year the DLC was avaliable on the Tuesday after the UK release so that would be 18th if its the same this year

Remember PES wouldn't have the budget of FIFA to be onto these things.

For PES to be a better game with nowhere near the budget the Fifa guys have ,is a testimony to Konami in itself.

Imagine how much PES would blow away FIFA if both were on the same level as far as spending budget?

Competition is good.
EA trying to kill off Konami and have the football game all to themselves but can't with all that extra budget.

Konami pushing above it's weight while EA underachieving.

Come on, the is almost no excuse for the non-updated rosters. It is the 2012 version and this is STILL in issue.

The DLC with the roster updates is coming, relax a little son. Besides, if you're that anxious to play with the right players, you can always update your own game. Might not apply to online, but take the valueable time practicing in singleplayer until the DLC hits.

Budget for making transfers? I probably know 12 year old kids that keep better updated rosters than mulit-million dollar Konami. Take a look at there poor excuse for a website with no integration and slow loading times; just bad business practices. You don't have to pay someone 125k a year to make roster changes. An intern could do it. Budget no excuse.

This thread is about the near inexcusable fact of Konami having outdated rosters every time a new PES releases; not temporary and obvious solutions(that everyone knows about) that should not be necessary in the first place.

But maybe Konami should be given the benefit of the doubt because there HAS to be a legitimate reason why Konami always fails at such a ruidmentary aspect of the game.
