Listen man, what planet are you from?

99% of people consider Ronaldo's prime to be 97/98/99. His only season for Barcelona in 96/97 and his first two seasons for Inter. He was 22 in 98.

So 22 is accurate IMO. Both 21 and 22 is perfect.

Ronaldo was arguably the worlds greatest striker from 1996 right through to 2006, a good 10 years, barring the horrific injuries he had throughout his career. But through his whole career, when he was fit, he was untouchable. During the late 90's (in his early 20's) Ronaldo was the most famous/talked about player in the world.

I remember in 98 with the WC they had an article on how many new born babies are named Ronaldo...he was just that famous and that dam good!
He was also in the early 00's according to a worldwide poll recognised as the second most recognised person in the world...second to the Pope.

I still think we haven't seen a player of his calibre since the early 90's. Back then, there was no argument who was the best...everyone just knew Ronaldo was the best. Now there is arguments between Messi and gay Ronaldo etc.

Man I would give anything to be back in the 90's to watch Ronaldo play :crymore:

Same here mate, wish I could go back to the 90's and watch football again in that era. Football was just so much better. So many great characters in football then, and the 98 World Cup is the best one I've ever seen. Yeah it was all about ronaldo then, he was everybodies best player, was such a shame when got injured at Inter Milan and was out for so long, but then it was great to see him win the World Cup in 02. I also miss the Real Madrid team with him, Zidane, Figo and the rest, all in that one team.

Fine i underrated him at first but watch a video of c.ronaldo and ronaldo, ronaldo is better but not in agility. c'mon, even the biggest fans of ronaldo have to say he has less agility than c.ronaldo. ronaldo can twist and turn when players are looking to pressure him. Have you watch tested to the limit - it weren' fake. Sure ronaldo can move his body well, but not as good as players like messi.
Also, just because you are a good dribbler, it does not relate to your body or how it moves in tight situations. agility is natural - how you are born and dribbling you can easily improve on. People like kanu and riquelme were maginifico dribblers but yet they cannot bend their body the way they want. Inversely, people like martins is agile as you can see with his backflips and his natural way he can dodge defenders without technical skill but with his body and his feet.
IMO ronaldo deserves lower agility than c.ronaldo and probably 86.

It's like you're just comparing computer game stats and judging who is better per stat. I don't actually think you've seen enough of Ronaldo (Brazilian) to actually apprieciate how good he was in his day. And I'm not talking about just looking at highlight videos on Youtube of him, and then judging him on that. Ok Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best players in the world in todays game, nobody has denied that, he is a great player and will go down in history as a great player. Ronaldo (Brazil) in the late 90's was phenomenal, unplayable, no defender in the world could touch him, even in the big games, on the big stage, he was always the stand out player and performed in the biggest games, where as Cristiasno, not slagging him off, but he doesn't really do it in the big games. Sure he can run riot on smaller teams, but think of a big match, a really big game where he has just absolutely stole the show. You can't. You can talk all you like about who is better at this, who is better at that, who is a better dribbler blah blah blah. For one they're two different types of player and two they play in totally different positions. I'm not even gonna say look at the world cup ronaldo has won, and the world cup finals hes been in, because thats unfair as he plays for a superior footballing nation. Anyway, Cristiano still has so much potential to improve, but he needs to have those stand out moments in big matches if he is gonna be in the same league as Ronaldo.

If you had actually seen Ronaldo play at the time, when it was all about Ronaldo, your opinions would be different, but you obviously haven't and your ridiculous comment saying Ronaldo wasn't in his prime when he was 22 just says it all really.

zzidane I just wanted to let you know I tried creating Ronaldo with face details as you provided but I don't think the outcome looked much like him, i think there needs to be some adjustments to the eyes especially..

i agree ronaldo is one of the best players but i don't regard him as good because of his poor form meaning inconsistency like in 2006 world cup. C.Ronaldo had a hard time at international stage because of the manager and his poor captaincy skills and also their players aren't good compared to the other brazilian players.
Ronaldo has stole the show a lot of the times like against arsenal few years ago when he made sagna a complete fool and gave him nightmares.
He has won man of the match a lot of times because of his dangerous crosses and skills aswell as amazing footwork.
I watched a coiple of ronaldo vids on youtube and most of the time defenders give him space to do a skill wheras modern football skilling players is harder as everyone becomes too compact and everyone consistenly apples pressure on you.
Ronaldo takes his time whilst cr7 doesn't and he know what he is going to do - a little dink on the penalty box, nutmeg a player than cross....
wheras ronaldo is more attacking which is why he score goals and passes are constantly being passes to him wheras cr7 supplies the passes.
Of course ronaldo will score more goals even though cr7 has scored 76 goals in 73 appearances and look at his honours-

I seriously can't believe you are convinced Cristiano Ronaldo is a better player than the real Ronaldo.

Wait and see buddy, in 30 years time people will still know who brazilian Ronaldo is while few will know who Cristiano is.

Neymar, Ronaldinho, Benzema, Ballotelli, Kaka to name a few all are very vocal when talking about how Ronaldo is their idol.

How you can think Cristiano is better than one of the best players, probably the best striker ever, to ever play the game while he isn't even the best in his era is laughable to say the least.

Cristiano is a good player, but he doesn't know squat about big match temperament and will never reach the heights of Ronaldo.

Yeah I agree mate, I fiddled around with it so much trying to get the right look, I still keep trying to tweek the face everytime I go on PES but just can't get it to look how I want it. It makes you wonder, because I can't find any Ronaldo face formulas anywhere, whether it's just too hard to make. Would be nice if that Maquevela guy could come up with a face for him coz his face creations are top notch. Thanks for the feedback man, if I do manage to get it looking at all better I'll repost another face formula.

Would be good if you could edit the ronaldo face that's already on there, so you could slim down the face, sharpen the cheeks and chin etc. It sucks that all you can change is the hair and face size, like you say you just can't make him look like a young Ronaldo with just that.

Yeah I agree mate, felt like I kept nearly getting there with it, but not quite, kept adjusting and tweeking bits, but just couldn't perfect it. I'm still trying every now and again to get the face right but just can't get there. If I do manage to improve it I'll post another formula.

Took your comments on board, mostly about the eyes just not looking right and after spending over an hour after work just trying to tweek and perfect it I feel kind of satisfied with it now. You think ronaldo does more in a match than cr7.
If you watch and of cr7 games, you will see him in the 90th min running around chasing for the ball whilst ronaldo is just standind out of breath waiting for the ball - his stamina, mentality, form is really really low. Anyway everyone says ronaldo is their idol is because people hate c.ronaldo how he shows off and can beat everyone and you should know that.
