As my MLO team was getting better, along with my ratings & rank, the more I was getting paired up against cheaters (people who use the lag switch to quit early). I then realized that alot of people on my level (win % of 60+) are cheaters. I have all match-making restrictions to similar level.

It was a satisfying thought knowing that I'm one of the legit/clean players out there & I have achieved this without cheating.

I remember being ranked #1 in the world at some point during PES11 MLO. I have a long way to go to achieve that in this version but I don't think the cheaters will help me achieve anything close to that.

I played someone this morning rated 975 and he beat me 2-0.He must have had the best 28 players in his squad even his sub keeper was Handonvic.But fair play to him when i looked at his stats he had lost 117 games.So i dont think he was a cheat as most of them have only lost about 30 games at most.

There are definitely some top players out there, no doubt. I came accross some dude who had about 97% win record, lost about 3 matches, drew a few & won 100+. I drew with him, so couldn't really tell if he was a cheater or not, because people don't usually quit when they are level, it's when they are behind or have no hope of coming back into the game. But If I had to put my money on it, I'd say he is a cheater because it's not possible to have such a win % in this game due to the momentum of the game which is controlled by CPU.

Question - How come the lag switch cheaters also have some losses to their record? Is this because they've conceded goals in the last few miniutes & couldn't lag in time, or is it because the lag switch doesn't always work for them?

I would agree with you anybody that has only lost 3 games is a cheat.The amount of times the lower strength teams in this get scrpted in favour of them tells you these guys cant possible get through them all.
