PES 2013 vs. PES 2014?

I haven't experienced any slow down during actual gameplay , but that's probably because I'm on the PC version from what I've been hearing .

As far as the bolt like runs go, I don't think it's the runs but it's more of just the defenders completely losing themselves and kind of tripping over each other making a clear path for the CPU to run through.

But yes, the foundation is there and I'm more than happy with it. I do kind of understand why so many people are upset though , because if it wasn't for the incredible atmosphere and gameplay, this game would be total garbage.

Mate, on the ps3, i got from my penalty box to the opposition one with Mertersacker in a WR 1.87 seconds and then rifled into the top corner like I was Van Persie. only for Mertersacker to literally watch Benzema snail into the box and have a tap in because once it gets to the box, defenders just stand there... not cool.

And I can safely say this is the best version of PES to date. The gameplay alone is worth the purchase. Sure there are a lot of drawbacks as well but the gameplay and presentation more than make up for that.

It really does feel like PES 2014 is a small preview of what is to come in the ' next gen ' era.

Anyways I'm really digging the game and it would be a shame if people dismissed this game because of a few bugs or glitches ( I saw somebody mentioning grass texture? what? )

I sent a list of 30 bugs on the ps3 to Konami... so it's hardly a few. The player movement is better, thats it... but like I said, this is for ps3 and other platforms don't seem to be getting it as bad, that or they just don't want to admit it because they either love pes so much, or they can see where the game wants to go and choose to ignore them, I for one, can't ignore 30 problems in one game.

No, your wrong about people on other platforms! Certainly me anyway! I personally am not ignoring the problems you speak of just because I love the series so much. In fact, I've never loved it, only parts of it. I've liked it overall. I just don't have the fundamental problems you have on PS3. Seriously, the reasons you give for people on other platforms is ridiculous! Do you really think some people are that blind?

Obviously, there is problems there in relation to people like yourself. Some people on PC have even been able to fix them to varying degrees of extent, so obviously there are problems ye only have.

I didn't say that was the reason, I said other platforms didn't seem to get these problems "that or." It's my way of saying, if it's only ps3 that get this problem, thats complete horse crap and if anyone else has these problems on xbox please come foward, because we have been trying to see if anyone on xbox gets these issues, but you seem to be the only person here that plays it on the xbox... atleast if other xbox users had the same issues us PS3 boys are getting, I might feel a little less left out... because I want to like this game so bad, but it just won't allow me to , and just to make it worse, I just got Van Der Mirched on pes 2013 because the little git was on a red and manual defending didn't bloody stop him, he out muscled Pepe :crymore:

But to answer your question at the bottom, yes, some people are that blind. FIFA fans, people that think the last resident evil movie was any good. people that thought Hangover 3 was good just because they liked the first 2. Liverpool fans who believe they can win the title just because they are Liverpool. These are all examples of people who will say something is good, just because they love something before. So it is very possible... but I didn't say that was the reason, I was just suggesting if it is broke on other consoles, that could be the only possible reason they arn't saying anything... Basically saying, why is it only the PS3 it is so bad, and what does the XBOX have that the ps3 doesn't? Or did they just code it for microsoft (PC and XBOX) and then just poorly code it over to ps3? It's winding me right up.

Do you fancy trading consoles? it's really good on PS3 (cough cough)

Just had a beautiful match with AC MILAN.

Had to record this one particular play and show you guys how rewarding and spectacular this game can be.



I passed the ball into space to Balotelli using advanced through ball pass ( holding L1 of course to carry it in the air ) then I immediately used super cancel ( using Balotelli) to intercept the ball , otherwise it surely would of gone to the CPU , and lastly I put it away using the ground shot feature, which is the first time I used it EVER in this game and it worked the first time ( Square, then Triangle just before he kicks ) and this is the outcome .

This is why I enjoy this game so much, because of moments like these. Everything that happened here was under my control. From the first first pass to the interception to the goal.

That was a classic pes 2013 goal lol, but what console was that on, if I had tried that on ps3, the defender would have ended up in front of me in a millisecond. I get in them positions all the time.

PC. Like I said, using SUPER CANCEL is key in this game, and this is what I really enjoy because it feels like you're totally in control

Yea I did use super cancel whilst playing it, even though you shouldn't have to, the scripting should be a hell of a lot better. On ps3 the right analog doesn't seem to hold the players off, I was Andy Carroll, got well free of the opposition only for Modric to rubber band me then some how muscle me off, that was with me running towards goal using right then using left on the right analog to try hold him off whilst he was directly behind me... I NEED GAMING PC... please someone, donate £700 to the Sanzie needs a pes14 that works or he will die foundation... I will create a four minute video of me sitting in the corner crying if that helps you sway your mind about donating lol.

you sound like you're whining about the fact that you're getting ownd by the CPU. Stop playing this game.

What you're doing is the equivalent of somebody constantly eating peanuts when they know they are allergic to them , but they do it anyways and then wonder why they get sick.

Wow that was condiderably harsh conceding that Andy Carroll has the body balance of a truck, I was miles ahead and I was using the right analog in the way they tell you to. Thats not getting owned, thats getting screwed, and just before you say anything, I have played 42 games, won 38 all on superstar, doesn't mean I'm going to like the ps3 version, I was simply stating how much better the pc version was working... People who have both ps3 and pc, even say the PC version is miles better in other posts. I liked your goal, and was excited you could do it on PC, and you just straight out mug me off like that? WTF man?

EDIT: Not to mention the very jokey tone in my post about doing a four minute hand out video like that on children for need... I think your post was a little uncalled for.

Look, I don't doubt that you've played the game over 40 times. It's just that you're whining in every single post. It doesn't come of as constructive it comes of as more of " I swear I should of won! But didn't! the game screwed me! and ONLY ME! "

No, every PS3 user on this site is having the same issues. And if you bother to look at some posts, I am also going around working out issues for other users who can play the game on other consoles, which is being rather "helpful"... If I want to moan about my version I can, but I'm also going around trying to help others who have had problems that can be solved... Matter of a fact, I spent 3 days trying to solve the shooting lag for "others" and seemed to be the only one bothering to post a reply to help the ones in need, I have spent countless hours trying to resolves others issues which for a moany git, makes me quite a nice guy. If you paid £40 for a game that didn't work, you might have the same outlook. I will keep my opinions to myself from now on, just to keep you happy fella.

On a side note though, nice through ball, and nice take with Ballotelli, now upload a video where you score a goal with some nice build up play, so I can orgasm over it.

Yeah I appreciate the feedback on the vid but that doesn't change the fact that you're constantly moaning about the game. You give this illusion of being helpful but at the end of the day, you want everybody to turn in their copy of PES 2014 and burn it, just so you can sigh and say " well.... see? IT WAS A BAD GAME because EVERYBODY decided to finally burn it " :happy:

Not everyone fella, just ps3 so Konami finally listen to me and fix it for us, which in all honesty, if its bugging out on one console more than others... isn't too much to ask is it? But you're right about the constant moaning, i sound like a child, and it has stopped. I've done my poll on the discussions thread and that is the last of it, I will send this poll to Konami once there is enough responds to it and see if that helps, but for moaning, I will no longer do it, and only admire the pc version from a far and try to help others, whilst also making jokes like i have on the opinion thread where I have seemingly calmed down a lot... I just love pes thats all, and I don't like going out drinking and that with mates because I used to have a huge problem with drink and I just feel lost without the game I love in the evenings.

EDIT: I need to get me a hobby, like collecting stamps, or licking windows or some shiznit like that.

Whatever. Your wrong. Don't insult my intelligence by making out I could be so blinded by some stupid love(which I don't have) of the series that I can't tell if the game itself is broken or not because the version I have is not broken. It's highly responsive to all my inputs. Its has flaws, but its a class game. In fact I prefer it to any of the previous versions. I can't comment on your version as I haven't played it, but I will take your word for it that its broken as everybody else on the PS3 is complaining.

Konami deleted my "premium" Demo LOL So I can't play it anymore, it says.. "expired". Whatever!
