FIFA but no PES? GTFO.

Seriously though, I don't know why people buy consoles straight after launch. In 12 months before you've got a decent library of games and the price comes down a bit, fair enough. But I won't be tempted yet.

Updated with upcoming games and Joel request

Still unsure about whether to pick up a Wii U or a PS4 next month. Looking at the Upcoming line up theres only Infamous: Second Son at retail that I might be tempted to buy, but there are plenty of PSN titles that i'm intrigued by (Binding of Isaac, N++, Oddworld, Don't Starve, Driveclub, 1001 Spikes) but most of these will be on the Vita also :hmm:

Definitely picking this up, but waiting until early next year to do so.

When I do, I'll probably end up having NFS Rivals as my first game. I'm looking forward to Watch Dogs and The Crew, but both will be coming out after I've purchased it, I expect, particularly the former.

FOllowing outcry from gamers and publications, PSN prices have been reduced to the following:

Sony First Party: £52.99
Third Party: £54.99

So EA titles are now in line with the Xbox One costs and probably equivalent to what you'll find on the high street.

My PS4 arrived today so if anyone has any PS4 related questions then let me know and I'll try to answer them. I tried getting online earlier and failed several times but tried again just now and got in straight away.

Not having a start or select button is really weird but the improvement to the analog sticks is a welcome change.

Can you go to the main PS4 menu and jump straight back into a game without having to load it back up yet? Pretty sure I heard that this would be a feature.

is playstation store available in all countries?

Phat won't know that just by looking at his PS4. I think this is the list of SCEE countries

Australia
Austria
Belgium
Denmark
Finland
France
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Luxembourg
Netherlands
New Zealand
Norway
Poland
Portugal
Russia
Spain
Sweden

Yes you can. I just loaded up Battlefield 4 then went to the XMB where I browsed the PS Store then went straight back into Battlefield 4.

The Vita has a similar feature and it really is great. Doing things like getting stumped in a game and wanting to read a guide, you just press the home button, head to the web browser, find a youtube video, watch it, then head back and carry on your game.

Phat, how you finding the pad?

I hadn't thought about that; that could be quite handy for me as I'm useless at games.

I've had no issues with the PS4 pad so far although it will take some time to adjust to pressing the options button located just to the left of the :triangle: instead of start. The controller itself is more robust than the one for PS3 which is a plus for many but I never had an issue with the PS3 pad. I have a 360 so I don't have any problems with it being heavier.

Regarding the PS Store, it seems quicker on the PS4 than on the PS3. I always felt it took a while to load stuff on the PS3 store but this seems a lot smoother.
