Is Pes 2015 really better than Pes 13

I am not convinced and the thing is this is the big question which hinges on me exchanging £40 quid of my cash, this game feels like a refined version of Fifa for me maybe it is this new fox engine but Pes has not felt like pes since pes 2013 the passing feels slow and lagging the running animations of players feel retarded so am I the only one feels this way?

it`s miles ahead, PES2015 continues where the PS2 saga stopped 8 years ago. I`m in love again since first demo game and it's still the same over 4 weeks later

I agree. It's way ahead of 13 in every single way. It's not like Fifa at all. It sounds like you haven't played it much. The running animations look pretty bang on to me. It game is lacking in some areas, granted.

First of all, which version are you playing?

PS3 version and I am yet to be convinced this is a better game what draws me to the game though the passing is laggy I like the beautiful animations players pass the ball especially pirlo and the game has updated roster with 2nd division teams but apart from this I would not convinced.

I thought PES 2010 was solid, but PES 2015 demo blows it out of the water, I really hope the full game holds up.

PES 2013 just has more licenses, better master league presentation, stadium creator and more stadiums including all of La Liga other than that PES 2015 is the superior game.

After playing 30 + times of the demo I am still not sold as the game just doesn't have that pes "just one more game" fun feel about yes I see the slight resemblance to pes 6 especially played with a wide camera but ultimately the game feels like a refined version of Fifa looks like I will be sticking with Pes 2013 and my multiple football era option file saves.

Surprised by that. I'm actually itching to get on it everyday but finding I don't have the time through the week. Can wait for it to come out. Hope the full game (should you buy it) changes your mind.

pes 13 is overrated. i gone back to playing pes 2010

pes 13 still seems fast plus feels like your playing on ice.

and i hate it when it goes in to ping pong mode around your box and tends to end up a goal lol

pes 15 demo is good so hopefully the full game will not let us down

I think it's a fair question. PES 13 is as close as the series has come to reaching the heights of PES 6 imo. There were obvious problems with PES 13 which have been ironed out in the PES 15 demo (rubber banding amongst others) but for me the demo feels sluggish, as though none of the players are in a rush, no urgency. Maybe I just need to get used to the players moving so slowly without me holding sprint! I didn't buy PES 14 so the whole walking/running/sprinting is fairly new to me atm. I'm having fun playing the demo!

Interesting, I never once though PES 15 was slow, it's just right and actually it can get fairly fast when the AI wants to catch up. FIFA 15 however is incredibly stupidly fast which annoys me and I don't know how people are enjoying that, have you been playing FIFA 15 and then finding PES 15 to be slow?

No I haven't played FiFa.
The more I'm playing the demo and getting use to the sprinting & close control the more I like it & the pace feels slightly better. I still feel PES 15 lacks the urgency that PES 13 had. It's difficult to put in to words. A 15 min game in PES 13 really had the ebb & flow of a real football game imo. Im looking foward to the final product this year a must buy for me this year. I think PES 15 is shaping up to be a much better game!

I hate how people say "it's so much better" when the game hasn't even been released.

We know nothing about the game apart from 1 demo.

PES 2013 was a good game offline and online. We know nothing about PES 2015 online. PES 2014 was the one of the worst games ever made, online was shockingly bad, how do we know PES 15 will be any different?

Wait until the game is out before jumping on the bandwagon. I won't be parting withy cash until I see concrete evidence that the online aspect has been greatly improved. Shocking that in 2014 Konami still can't get online correct.

I think they are saying the game-play is much better, indirectly of course. What else could they judge as that's the only content the demo offers.

Why do you "hate" something that hasn't even been said? I said its shaping up to be better. I'm talking purely about gameplay. I thought that would have been obvious as that is all we can judge atm. As for online, it's something I'm not interested in so doesn't bother me either way, although I do feel for the people who get let down year after year by Konami. Jumping on the bandwagon? Really? Just giving thoughts on the demo compared to PES13. I said I was excited about the final product not I thinks it's going to be the best game ever!
