Selling Players & Loaning Players out

I believe the offers depend on their wages. I've given Schweiny 30mil/year and I'm getting 200mil offers for him :)

Seriously!? Does this work..?

I'll have to try it out. Do you have to wait until the summer transfer window for offers to come in for your high wage guy, and does he have to be over a curtain OR, young & developing?

Cillessen is one of my most expensive players, wage wise, getting around 4m€/year and I recieved offers of at most 6.5m€. Bruno Fernandes was on a 2.2m€ contract, played half the games Cillessen did, and sold him for 23m€. So high Wages don't always mean big offers

I switched to Manchester United a couple of seasons ago, De Gea's wage to market value ratio is 3.6 times and same for the other keeper. Strikers (Wingers) are the most expensive. But when I was at wolves Iturbe had very low wage demands but when I had him at United his wage was up from ~3 million to ~5.5 million and market value went up from 15M to 35M. I guess name of the club matters too.

EDIT: I went back and checked one of my saves at Wolves his value was ~9m with wages of ~1.5m. I also feel market value varies with registered position and OPR being above 70>80>90...So if you're under 80 its like 4.65 times and so on

Yea I think the computer favours attacking mids/fwds when it comes to dishing money out for the 'big deals' and playing with one of the larger clubs helps, but if you can get your team to reach the No.1 ranked club in the world then you should in theory be able to receive big offers for your highly paid players...

Then the fucking computer is a cheating whore, because they ask me to give 75m€ for a 34-year old Neuer, and an increase in wages from 10m€ to 15m€.

Oh, and I'm currently the No.1 club, third season straight. Nevertheless the AI keeps trying to rob me

Slight PES rage there Rebelinho :D

I think the Konami CPU will always be a mystery and in some messed up way these anomalies add to the game!?

PES raging ever so slightly.

And yes, one must get used to the "anomalies". But considering them "additions to the game" is more of a way to excuse KONAMI than anything

Yea, maybe I'm being to kind to Konami because I love the game so much...I kind of think because they are half way around the other side of the world they are some how detached from the 'real world' of European Football. :erm:
Having said that they have been developing the game for so many years they should know what they are doing by now.

I have just received the biggest offer I have ever seen for a player!

I signed Marquinhos in January and offered him 15mill wages, making him the highest paid player in the game, then immediately transfer listed him as an experiment to see if I could generate a large bid for improving 22 yr old - as discussed above.

At the start of my 3rd season in the August transfer window, Southampton of all people, offered me 74.5mill!! for him…Err yea Ok - DEAL! :shocking:

Think i’ll try to sign Neymar in January with the extra cash. :D

The stupidly low offers seem to come in for the players that aren't transfer listed. You tend to get decent offers for the players that are transfer listed. How is that for a bit of reverse logic?! :erm:

I have noticed this, because I play master league with a policy of accepting all offers when they come in (just to keep things fresh and challenging). Just had to take 7m for a player who would now cost me 35m if I want him back!!!

That's a Crazy way to play the game Coxy! What if you've been saving money all season to get an expensive player in you really want and then a piss poor low offer comes in...you would sell him??

:eek:hmy: :erm:

I've heard of challenging ways to play PES, like only buying European players etc but this is madness! Lol! :D

It isn't that linear, at least with me I get more money (above the market value) for players that we consider to be better IRL.

This happens all the time. And the opposite as well, you buy a player for, let's say, 30m€ and then the same team tries to get him back for less than a third of that value.

Should start a Bilbao ML. :ninja:

Signings list: Llorente, Herrera, etc. Aaand that's about it

Silver Surfer there is another forum in which users compiled a list of challenges to make the game more entertaining, like winning any league only with players whose name start with the same letter, win the League or UCL only with players whose market value is over or below a certain number, redo the Invencibles, redo the Mourinho (UCL and treble, in the same season, two seasons in a row, with two different teams), etc.

I'll be doing a challenge too in my next ML. Managing Swansea, avoid relegation in the first season, win the domestic treble or one of the European cups + domestic cups in a maximum of four seasons, only by having young (under 23 at the time of the signing) players from the north (GB, Ireland, Iceland and Scandinavia) + Ruben Neves

Bilbao is my favourite master league, no joke- I think I posted about that in other threads. I have been playing as Bilbao since about PES 2011!!! :) I do have a Bilbao master league in PES 2015, but I ruined it about 3/4 seasons in by accepting offers for Munian, Greizmann and Martinez (I thought it was getting too easy). Together with decline of Llorente, my new attack was absolutely terrible, and I have put that game on hold for a while. You can build a decent team though:
GK: Ruffier
DEF: Azpilicueta, Inigo Martinez, Laporte, Iraola, Nacho Monreal
MID: Javi Martinez, Ander Herrera, Illaramendi, Pardo, Itturaspe
ATT: Llorente, Munian, Greizmann, Ibai Gomez, Aduriz

Started a new ML with Inter Milan. I'll post my house rules in a new thread. Actually makes things pretty fun (for me at least!!).

Back to transfers, I have definitely noticed that you tend to get ripped off more if the player is on a small contract, or if you haven't transfer listed the player. Its also annoying when the CPU makes offers on the last day of the transfer window. Unlike FIFA or Football Manager, you cannot slow down the last day of the window to make some last minute offers to buy a replacement. :(

That's one of the best things about FM, the ability to stop/slow down time whenever you want. For all matters we are limited to buy a certain number of players, which is (number of schedule stopping points - 1) * 5, given that you don't renogociate any deals.

I've started a new ML just to make a market search for players suitable for my next ML, bought some to see how it would go, and finished the transfer window with a 17 player squad :D So, if I want to have almost every player I want from the beginning, I'll have to buy them without renegotiating any fees. And this really constrains the gameplay.

Love this idea :)

Picking up my last point, the biggest problem is buying the players. Either I try to buy (I might even be forced to, due to the lack of money) them in summer and winter, or I'll be in a rush.

Also, to overcome the lack of enough decent british youngsters, I had to include Iceland and Scandinavia in the pack. That, and to include Odegaard :smug: (including Italy aka Mastour would be too strange. Neves is there 'cause he's my favourite player)

Yep, 5 negotiations is a joke. Master league format is so outdated it's embarrassing- transfers, schedules, negotiating, CPU AI... But I still keep coming back for more!!! :)

Got an idea. Buy the shittiest madafacka in the game, just go the Advance Search, sort it by Ascending OVR, and buy the very first guy that appears, given that he's still developing. Just to take that out of the equation.

Then give him, let's say, 20m€ in wages. A fair amount for such a star. I would love to see if you're still offered 75m€ for him.

Oh, and it should be better to buy him in January, just to avoid paying the full 20m

Yea Ok, why not. I'm only in September at the start of my 3rd season so i'll do it when I get to January and post my findings asap! Why not do it yourself also, unless your strapped for cash at the mo..? It's a gamble but in theory you should be able to make your money back and then some.!!
