PES 2016 Full Reveal 12th June

Reading through the reveal it's obvious not all licences were obtained but option files for. Ps4 did anyone catch what leagues or divisions were licenced besides uefas

It looks rather impressive when it's in close but at traditional camera-view lengths, just looks like previous editions. Hopefully by skipping out on last years game I'll find a noticeable difference in gameplay.

Holy shit those keepers are bloody awful! And that's Neuer!

Other than that the gamplay seems to keep the good things of PES2015 + more animations + useless stuff like the celebration thing (clear FIFA rip-off).

First did someone really expect that the changed the Engine after only two years?

The rest sounds and looks mostly nice. New camera angle could be good. Better AI, better animations the usual stuff. Dynamic weather is a nice gimmick. YES for image import on PS4.
To be able to let defenders sit on their ass sounds good, less beating the defender only for him to turn around, catching up and tackle you from behind.

No new controlles on the pitch?

I hope the goal celebration like in FIFA is optional. It often looks broken and stupid in FIFA. (Same for the selfi celebration)

That's why it's hard to balance the gameplay. You make it like in real life(defenders can't catch up once you beat him), then you'll have tons of easy 1 on 1 goal opportunities.

It completely loses the 'pick up and play' aspect that easily comes with console gaming. Not to mention the cost needed just to build a worthy PC.

Some people have never really used PCs for gaming (bar old DOS games) so if say console gaming died, a large percentage of people would just give up gaming. Also, with Xbox/PS there's at least a level playing field.

I think this looks much better than FIFA. And i dont think the keepers look awful, should they be superhuman like in FIFA?

You can't compare different things. "Yeah that Ferrari sucks because I could buy like 200 VW Polo for that money.". If you want to compare prices logically get a PC that has the same amount of processing power as consoles, then we'll talk. Also, PC games cost so much less than console's that if you spend a little more for more quality it will be worth it.

Unfortunately true, but that does not make PC gaming worse, only shows how Sony/Microsoft have people on their hand and how misinformed they are. If you truly like to play games you'll find a way.

The only thing I had to play games when I was a kid was a GB Colour with Pokemon Silver, NASCAR 200 and nothing more. Then, one day, someone robbed me. I was completely heartbroken, as I loved my Silver more than anything back then. Needless to say I never had a console, so I used other people's when I was with them. When my parents got a computer I instinctively went looking for games, 3D Space Cadet welcomed me and I never left. Just to say that people only stop doing things they like if the alternatives end, and that is clearly not the case.

It will always be better than FIFA :smug: And the keepers and awful indeed, reaction times remain way too long. That Neymar header going in was appaling to watch.

I'm in no way saying PC gaming is worse than console, but console gaming is much more convenient and affordable. On consoles you'll never have a friend buy a game your console is unable to play, whereas with PCs it could cost you to upgrade your PC to be able to run newer games.

What I'm getting at is it's difficult for hardcore console players to make the shift to PC.

PC is more affordable, that is a fact. And for my sanity's sake, you don't have to upgrade to play the newest games. To play them at console settings you don't need to upgrade, only if you want Ultra all the time (even then... GTX780 Ti is 2 years old and can play everything at 1440p over 30fps with High settings; PS4 runs at 900p/30fps with lower quality). But Ultra is way better than consoles, so it evens.

You do have a point in the "not everybody as the same machines". And that PS4 thing of being able to play a game you don't even own (I think I've read this somewhere) is quite good frankly.

I'm not just referring to the PC itself, you can always pay more for peripherals that will give you an advantage over others (mouses, keyboards etc). There will never be a level playing field on PCs, and as for the affordability, how much do gaming PCs cost nowadays and what is the life of one? I'm curious.
