You don't need a modded console to use, as I don't have one. I can't see how you would get banned. The thing is though, I couldn't play games online with this file and another one. The games just diconnected on the prematch screen. I'm not sure if it'll affect everyone the same. Just try it out yourself.

Your unlikely to get an answer about that because this thread wasn't created by the person who created the option file or any of the other xbox option file threads. The people who created them are not even on this forum I think.

Got it going there, painless enough in the end. Looks great, crowd sounds definitely better. Bundesliga is still all messed up on my end but hey cant have everything i guess!

When you try to play a game online with this file, can you tell me if you could play or did it disconnect prematch?

I play pretty much exclusively online ratmonkey. That could be an issue, what do you do if you cant get online with it? I had instructions for loading it, getting rid of it on the other hand....

Yup just tried it and it crapped out in Gameplan, saying communications were lost.

Update.

Got a game going online where I was the away side but it quit after about a minute due to "unforeseen circumstances..."

Bit pointless if it can't be played online.

I don't know what the issue is. These files have the biggest mods to the game on the 360 I've ever seen. I mean they have even changes to the colours of the pitches, added different adboards around the pitch and such. They even made the rain heavier and added more stadiums. It could be something got to do with how modded it makes the game. I actually don't know really. Now, you shouldn't get banned because you have an unmodded console and copy of the game, but might get a bad courtesy rating online if you try to keep playing matches.

To get rid of it you need to go to where the game is stored and delete the edit, data pack, day one file i think its called and some others. Take a look at the names of the files on your usb on the xbox, theen you'll know which to delete on the xbox itself.

It's a new version of a different file that wasn't working online either, but I've been told the new version works. you'll see 2 files here that are similar: LIGAS CON CANTICOS, LIGAS SIN CANTICOS. The first one is with chants the second is without. You only use one of either of these versions of files along with the rest.

EDIT: I think you may be right about the stadiums. Its the only thing that occurred to me, too.

Theres 230 files in there, not sure which to delete...

The other file, if I go ahead and install in and copy it over, will it simply overwrite this patch I wonder?

230 files? You must have installed a different option file before did you? There are only a few files with this patch. Is there 230 files in the pes 16 folder on your USB?

Yeah I had another one on it from before. One of the first Portuguese things I did a few weeks ago!

The USB wiped itself after I transferred the files to the HD so I can't check. Reckon I should just delete everything?

Also, if it is at all possible is there anyway you could post up a directions list here of the version that "may" work online. I have 5 tabs open of that other thread, and its a headscratcher checking who is talking about which version, also, some of the Mega links are dead. Much appreciated if possible.

Yeah by checking the timsstamps I can see which ones are the old option file. Can't delete all manually though I would be here all night! Deleted the files for today. Think my head is sore right now...

Yeah, just delete everything. If you have any game modes saved, just save them to your USB first and copy them back later. I'll put the instructions for the other file in the other thread, so check there in a bit.

You need to install the adboards. I've put the instructions in the other thread but have made a slight mistake. I have it working now, but its very, very slow to load. I'm not sure its even worth it. These patches are just becoming too big! I'll correct the instructions.

I've corrected those instructions. Post in the other thread about it if you have a problem because this thread is just overlapping with the other. The game loads very slowly this time as the patch is really big. I tried installing it with the file without the chants. I try it with the chants and see if that makes a difference. Its way too slow to load now!

Will post in the other thread when I have a chance to get a crack at it. Cheers buddy.

Patch looks great, HOWEVER it crashes if you try and play a match on any of the grounds that has a "?" photo against it. This is in the editor where you assign a "Home Ground". Everything else seems OK so far.
