So, I went a bit crazy during the summer transfer window, in my Corinthians season. I bought:

Yuri Mamute

Well that's a man living up to his name. 90 Body Balance is quite rare.

rebelinho (or anyone else that speaks Portuguese) - in the Brazilian matches, the players keep saying this word, sounds like "bwoola". They do it about 300 bazillion times a match, in the same voice and it drives me mad. Do you know what they're saying? Is it just jibberish? I know "bola" means "ball", so I'm guessing it's that?

You mean real football? It probably is "bola", with brazilian accent. Our accent differs a lot from the one in Brazil, and they do say something like "bwoola". Also, we/our commentators often use other words for ball, like "esférico" (sphere), and "redondinha" (round, but with a sense of affection) to a lesser extent, so I'd expect the brazilian commentators to repeat "bwoola" more times.

No, in PES. It drives me mad the amount of times I'll hear it in my ML matches (spoken by the players or managers). Play a match between 2 Brazilian teams and you'll see what I mean. :)

They speak?! I'll have a go when I get back home.

I've gotta say, the AI in this game is fuckin broken!. I'm on superstar & they seem to stand off the ball & let u run at them, yet when they need a goal they somehow find a way & it inevitably ends in the bottom corner even if it's their 1st shot!. The animation is the same every time. The gameplay is seriously flawed & I think it was praised way too much by the reviewers.

So it is first season and winter transfer time with my Olympiakos career.

I sold Leandro Salino (78 rated) for 9 million euros to Tottenham and Luka Milivojevic (78 rated) for 11 million euros to Empoli and I bought A. Toure for 6 million euros (19 yo, 75 rated) from AS Monaco and Gary Medel for 10 million euros (81 rated) from Internazionale.

I like to do a Transfers Favourite list in ML, where I list good players for my team (players who fit my tactics and have good chances of signing). In my favourite list there are players like J. Murillo, Ginter, Leitner, Lucas Vazquez, B. Silva, Ljajic and Alexandre Pato. Hopefully (and likely) I will win the league so I can get good money and buy new players.

At the moment, I am first at the Greek Superleague with 40 points (13 W 1 D 0 L), second is Panathinaikos with 34 points (11 W 1 D 2 L) and third is AEK Athens with 27 points (8 W 3 D 3 L). I play at Superstar level.

So, I went a bit crazy during the summer transfer window, in my Corinthians season. I bought:

M.G Araujo
Douglas Santos
Dória
Lucão
Overgaard
N. Ceveira (Gerson)
R. Bitencourt (Douglas Coutinho)
Yuri Mamute
Renato Sanches
D. Salazar (who I thought was fake, but turns out he's real)

Some nice signings there Ali. Douglas Santos is one of the best LBs in PES i think, got a hell of a shot on him as well...still developing for my Mallorca team so I hope he peaks late. I've just discovered Yuri Mamute myself, one to get at the start on my next ML for sure. You might need to change Renato Sanches' hair though...hasn't he got dreads in real life.?

Back on topic, some pics from my Porto ML. The end-of-the-season report is almost here, some goals and other videos, and the stats. For now, only random stuff.

Nice work on the Juve win, just a shame the comps trying to screw you in the transfer market!! :realmad:

Any new player development progress recently? Also, have you signed any Grand Masters to boost your players training like I suggested?

I've got a few new updates to show you guys so i'll post some pics in the next day or two hopefully.

Yeah, it's on my "to do" list when I can be bothered, along with a couple of player name changes. :)

Oh, I've bought some... :D

Just checked Sanches' stats on pesmaster. In general they are quite realistic, only a tad overpowered. Biggest mistake is that Explosive Power, 80 at most, and definitely not more than Body Balance or Stamina (if it wasn't for age he'd have 90).

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. I started recently a ML with Bilbao just for fun. I am currently in the fourth position at the 8th league game, under Real, Barça and Sevilla. I am also doing good in the Europa League, having beaten and tied against Liverpool in the group stage.

I bought:

Gerrard (0€!)
Ruben Neves from Porto (4m€)
Bellerin from Arsenal (4m€)
Menez from Milan (I think my most expensive buying 8m€)
Remy from Chelsea (5m€)

I sold De Marcos (11m€) and other two dudes for 10m€ on total.

Later I'll post some print screens for y'all. :D

Big update incoming! I'll post stats for my entire squad inside the spoilers (GK + DF, MF and ATT), with the most relevant players outside. Before that, paging Silver Surfer.

As you can see the training boost does exist in my ML :D Also, that lower right pic goes as proof that Development Sheets are not exactly "accurate" (and the GKs never had training boosts). Alright, to the players.

Already peaked, but I'll hold on to him. Great keeper, not the best around but quite good regardless.

Flourished and became this. What a monster, hardly loses any battle, be it aerial or physical. Crucial.

This is what happens when you reverse Bale. Kinda enough for defensive duties (speed and stamina help),
incredible when attacking. Just like the real deal.

Great sub. Gives enough guarantees for me not to worry. Develops like mad, and there's still room for more!

One of those players I'll never sell. Plays well above his OVR, and his passing range + Low Lofted Pass + Long Ball Expert is too good to miss.

The ultimate understated monster. Like Puyol, and not only on the hairstyle department. It honestly feels like cheating.
He can overtake Neymar. He can dispossess Ibra (and every other player). Another one I won't sell.

Building the future. Training will be on Defence until he retires, the rest is already perfect. Surprisingly good aerial ability.

Great crossing, great defensive capabilities, shit stamina. I mean, real shit. Won't go past 70 mins,
and I really like to push my fullbacks forward. Still, great LB.

Bench player, nothing more to say. Needs more dribbling, the rest is quite good. Waiting on Coentrão.

Cancelo's counterpart. Nevertheless gets forward quite often, but it's simply not comparable to Cancelo.

The captain. Textbook, someone said. Hell yeah it's textbook. Over 150 tackles a season. Holds my midfield all by himself.

At last a fitting nickname! Everything goes through the feet of this man. Every season he's the one with most dribbles,
passes completed and received. Everybody that likes PES should try a player like this at least once. It's pure joy.

Neves' sub. Like Sá, gives just enough guarantees for me not to worry. Great passing, similar to Flávio Ferreira.

He really is Zidane-esque. First season was difficult for Gomes, Sanches was the man, but that dribbling does make a difference.

Strong, decently fast, powerful shot. But just... develops too slowly. Still waiting for a breakthrough.

Developing steadily, gives a different approach to the game compared to Bernardo.
Faster, more physical, it really feels different. Won the place over Marcos Lopes.

Was shit before the flourish. Then, bam!, Lewandowski. Needs to improve in the aerial department though,
hardly win any battles in corners/crosses.

Started on the right. Crucial to the team. Them flourished and became the star alongside Bernardo.
With Iuri's explosion was moved to the left, thus completing the Ronaldo-Transformation TM.
That dribbling was 80 before the flourish. That's what a bit of training can do.

This is Messi. Messi is a Portuguese starlet that exploded to the world around season 2, and now destroys defences for fun.
Messi likes to dribble around the opposition players and make them beg for mercy. Also enjoys the casual
long range piledriver that turns GKs into little girls.

Ivo Rodrigues. Product of Porto's youth system. Sent Ivan Cavaleiro to Greece. I really like him. Probably the player
that showed me Dribbling and Ball Control take priority over raw Speed.

And then there's Quaresma, that takes that raw Speed and adds raw Technique. You all know this fella.

Was the main man upfront until André Silva's flourish. His dribbling still goes a long way vs more closed in teams. Truly a sub of the highest caliber.

To end the post, the complete squad + main game plan.

Usas algum patch amigo?

Eu adoro o Ruben Neves no jogo, apesar dos stats dele serem um pouco baixos ele tem um controlo de bola muito bom.

Usas algum patch amigo? Are you using a patch my friend?

Eu adoro o Ruben Neves no jogo, apesar dos stats dele serem um pouco baixos ele tem um controlo de bola muito bom. I love Ruben Neves in the game, even if his stats are a bit low he has great ball control.

Just be sure to include an english translation in your posts.

Yes, I use PTE's Patch, although it is an earlier version, 2.1 I think.

Ruben Neves is amazing, I really enjoy playing with him. In case you've noticed some difference in my stats compared to yours that's because I changed them before starting this ML. Took prints from FM16 and converted those stats to PES to increase realism.

You should try out Tugavicio patch, for me its the best, they are always updating and they answer to your suggestions and critics, which helps a lot. They have all the Porto current squad faces (Corona, Evandro) including some of your young players like Cancelo (I think...).

Oh that's amazing, that's why you could turn Ruben Neves into an 85 overall superstar. I only got him into 81 max, which is already like +8 points in his standard overall. I wish he was better defensively though.

Looking very strong mate, always look forward to a big ‘Data Dump’ of screenshots from yourself - Mr Robot style!

1. R. Sanches has dreads now in my PES as well, it has got to be done! I’m looking forward to signing him up soon (possibly in a new ML)

2. Neves, what a guy! 85 OR and his spider graph already looks like Fabregas’. I believe the phrase ‘textbook’ may not do him justice….I will have to find another Alan Partridge quote..!

-"oooh you're nicer than my wife!"

3. Looks like the training boosts are working well for you, case in point, Bernardo Silva! I bet he’s as fun to play with as Coman is for me - give that man the ball and watch him go! (P.S. have you seen my Coman recently…?)

4. I see Mr. Quaresma a.k.a. The Portuguese Playboy a.k.a. Mr. 2 TVs has crept back into your squad, and not for the first time….”Jack-anack-anory"

Edit:

Just seen that Neves & Sanches are on over 80% training boosts! CRAZY! sky's the limit!

One of the series I'll eventually get to watch.

My intention now is to train him in Passing until at least 90 on both, then Defence until 80 Defensive Prowess, and then probably Physical to improve Stamina even more.

Believe it or not, all those stats are "GM free". I only bought those training enhancements after my last season ended, and played just 5 or 6 games of this 4th season. Looking forward to these next months.

Just seen that Neves & Sanches are on over 80% training boosts! CRAZY! sky's the limit!

If I get enough free time (big if) I'll try to buy as many Legends, GMs and Maestros to the same specific position and see what's the limit.

Finally got a PK. Only took about 300 games.

Think it depends on your playing style as well though...I like to take long shots from outside the box and try to shoot first time as soon as I get inside the area.

I think if you dribbled around the box enough trying to draw fouls you would get more FKs & PKs....maybe not....its Konami after all! :D

I've bought far too many players..... all young developing players too. I give new meaning to the phrase "squad rotation". My squad is almost unrecognizable from the starting team, and I'm only a 1.5 seasons into it. Here's who I bought in the last window:

Quintero
Iturbe
Donnarumma
A. Cossío
Alex Silva
Luis Henrique

All these added to an already large squad. There's probably at least one signing I've forgotten too. This is the problem starting with a big team. Already qualified for the Continental tournaments, which give me about £2m per home match, means I have too much damn money. First world ML problems eh?

I'm just waiting for you to buy GMs and Legends and shit and not play them, just for the training boost, and then scream at the computer/TV because you have to sell one, proceed to do so, but still can't buy another due to squad limitations. Yeah, that happened.

How's Donnarumma?
