It was 5/6 seasons, can't remember exactly how many, but I have stopped now (and no longer own the game). Odegaard was still improving btw, could've easily been 100+ in a couple more seasons.

96 overall in 5/6 seasons when my Odeegard was 91 in 6 seasons. I don´t know what I’m doing wrong but my players don’t reach the same levels as yours. I guess that’s because I didn’t have any Grand Masters until last season.

Anyway, I have 2 basic questions about the period with the red “flourishing” arrow:

1. Does the player performance affects in his progression? I mean if he has an 8 scoring in a match does he progress faster than if he has a 5?
Now I’m obsessed with scoring goals during the flourish period but I’m not sure if it changes anything. For example in Pes 2015 I think he should have a 6,5 to flourish.

2. Shall he play every minute in every match? I usually substitute him in the second half after scoring 1 or 2 goals if there is another match in 2-3 days but maybe it’s a mistake.

1. Yes, definitely. If you have a 6.0 or lower expect just a few stats to increase, maybe even as low as just two. Eventually there will be a day when 7 or 8 increase, but it's rare. For performances over 7.5 expect a steady stream of at least 6 stats increasing at the same time.

2. Not relevant, just the final performance score.

I've finished my third season today, I was already in league game number 34 as of my previous post so it was much quicker than I expected. Tomorrow I'll post some pics.

Some interesting things here. Overall improvement was much bigger in ohen's Chambers. Up until Defensive Prowess things are pretty much even, 5 vs 4 of just slight changes. But then...

Mine wins clearly when it comes to Speed (normal, given I train him for that), but then loses in both Defence and Physical by an even bigger margin. I don't know if this comes from a flourish not yet had, but the difference is obvious.

Interesting comparison. My Chambers flourished during the first season so I wonder what the gap would be if your Chambers had flourished. Even though 20 points is a considerable gap and I don’t think it would be totally reduced.

It's important to notice that my Chambers played a lot during the first 3 seasons (111 matches). How about yours?

You also said that you used him as RB when he is CB. Do you think that the player progression is reduced if he doesn’t play in his main position?

Yeah, I had a number of maestros, GMs and legends etc which improved development significantly. I actually signed a few old players (like Rooney and Lewandowski) with the sole purpose of increasing player development.

Less than half that, a mere 54 games in three seasons.

I don't think so, his overall even increases by three when I play him there.

Looking for new challenges I abandoned my Birmingham City ML (Odegaard I’m gonna miss you!:D) and just started a new ML with Liverpool.

Although I always try to keep most of original team players during 1st ML season, I signed up 6 players during the transfer window

CB Antonio Rudiger
RB Joao Cancelo
CMF Olivier Ntcham
CMF Bamidele Alli
AMF Juan Fernando Quintero
LWF Viktor Fischer
RWF Domenico Berardi

This is my roster.

I also bought some Maestros and Grand Maestros in order to improve players development. Some interesting things that I’ve noticed are:

- Your 1st Maestro gives +10% boost. 2nd Maestro only gives an extra +3%. (As you know Maestro boost same main position players)

- A Grand maestro gives +20% boost to same MAIN position players and +10% to same position players. If you add a Maestro, then you’ll have an extra +3%.

In conclusion, It isn’t worth it to buy more than 1 Maestro for same main position because only gives you a +3% extra boost.

((I’m referring to Level 1 team roles))

Finally, I'm playing with this formation, kind of guardiola style ;) (Ntcham and Sturridge are injured)

Just finished my 4th season. Pics will follow, for now a new chapter on Chambers' development.

Speed and Defence are the main shifting points. Mine caught up in the first stats, dominating in presence but with just a slight edge. Physical is catching up too, but Stamina is 3 points over the rest of the physical stats, not sure why. The total development is now 95 (vs 100 in ohen's).

Oh, and he's flourishing. 4 games so far, so I'm expecting at least another 3/4. This is, if going to the next season doesn't stop it.

I've played 4 games of the new season just to see how far would Chambers go... very far, it seems.

Apart from Defence and Speed the main trend is 1 point of advantage in every stat for my Chambers. I guess the GM training boost does make a difference.

I agree with you because I guess my Chambers played much more than yours (230 games in 6 seasons). Seeing his stats I guess you’re still playing him as RB. Which is his average number of assists and goals per season?

I’ve just finished my 1st season with Livpool and now I’m proving the effects of 6 Grand Masters. I have Mertens (LWF), Huntelaar (CF), Van der Vaart and Diego (AMF’s), Ramires (CMF) and Cohade (DMF).

In my first ML with Birmingham without GM training boost, my players improved an average of 0,583 points. In current ML with 6 GM my players improved an average of 1,826 points. I have to say that with Birmingham I had some old players but also had Chambers who improved 7 points.

81 games, 1 goal and 10 assists in 4 seasons. But has played more and more as time goes on, his appearance record is 14, 18, 22 and 27 games in each season. Always as a RB in a three man defence (this is, he has to run a lot).

Something tells me that if you only conceder the non-declining players those numbers will be much closer. Liverpool will always win though.

Ended my 5th season this past monday (played some 25 games in the weekend/monday, exam breaks have to be well spent), pics will follow either tomorrow/friday, first days of February, or after 14th of February. For now, an appetizer.

After 7 seasons. Stats will follow tomorrow. Don't mind any spelling mistakes, this was written on a tablet.

Great keeper, lightning fast reflexes, good passing. Can't ask for more. Only beaten by Jasper "The God" Cillessen in PES2015. Doubt he'll ever be beaten.

There were better, younger options available, but he's from the UK, and has both GK Long Throw and Low Punt Trajectory. Starting to save some shots since he reached 80 in all stats. Height in a non-issue.

What a rock. Desailly would be proud. Very powefful in the air, technically well above average, faster than most of the opposition. Can't really remember any situation I was left saying "you fucking cunt, get the ball!". He always gets it.

Not sure how, but he works. Slowly but steadily won his place in the team, and kept on playing while Callum Chambers, Galloway and eventually Stones left the team. That Ball Winning is absolutely crucial.

The past is coming back to the future. Needs to/Can improve greatly, but is already quite good for most league matches. Fast enough already, decently strong but needs to be even more to cope with his lack of height. Excellent long passing (probably the best I've had in a CB apart from Dier).

If it wasn't for that low dribbling this guy would be the best RB in the game, hands down. Powerful when going forward, competent in defence. Not enough Jumping to be useful as a CB, but showed to be one of those players that keeps on improving with time (aka "not a Ward-Prowse").

Well... looking at the stats he's a great centre back. And that's true. But somehow, he never feels right there. At least in a 3-man backline with just one CB. Like he needs a more physical presence by his side. As a RB he's just enough, but not good enough. After three seasons of development by Chambers he lost his place in the starting lineup, and earned a transfer to somewhere in the beginning of the seventh season.

The left footed Bellerin. Too bad fucking PES2016 has to start dropping players' speed from the age of 25. Good crossing but his biggest weapon is clearly speed, to both overtake opponents with the ball on his feet and win it back in defence.

If Messi decided to challenge himself and play as left back. Almost perfect, but he'll get there. Crossing only matched by Quaresma. Early crosses then... like a hot knife through butter.

Okay... decently fast, explosion is enough (barely), dribbles like he has arthritis, but those passes are golden. Defensively is borderline perfect, but somehow behave worse as a CB (even if he's a 93 rated one). The best header of the ball I've ever used. Worried about how much more speed/explosion he's gonna lose, which means...

...this guys has been seeing more and more game time. Quick, explosive, tight dribbling, inch-perfect short passing and overall accurate long passes, but sometimes puts tons of spin on them for no reason. Defensively is like a Kante, surprised with that one. Excellent stamina.

Meh, might get to be something good, but for now he's jus a useful bench player. Way too slow, how can somebody be this slow.

Dribbling is just enough, but that passing... he was some kind of animation that's just right, I've never used a player with such accurate low passes over long distances. Long distance shooting is also very good.

Useful player that I can't help but love. I'd been on the verge of selling him almost every season but held on to him until this seventh season. Punches much harder that it seems, fast and hard worker. Good shooting as well.

The best. If only he had more explosive power, he'd be better than Bernardo Silva. Stats speak for themselves.

I wanted to like him, but in the seventh season he was atrocious. I couldn't do anything with him. Sold for some nice money. Good dribbling and decent shooting, great short, lofted passes (liek B. Silva)

What a beast. Only lacking some more speed. Excellent shooting and accurate crossing.

The best player with worst shooting I've ever used. Holy shit he's bad. Crosses are as expected, dribbling is meh but not too shabby.

I can't explain, using only words, how strong this guy is ingame. Like using cheat codes.

As good as ever. Getting more and more clinical in front of goal, and surprisingly powerful in the air.

Ronaldo v2.0! Needed more Body Balance to stay true to his real self.

Developing nicely, the best long range shooter I've ever used. The rest is not even close. I've lost count the amount of goals he's scored from outside the box.

André Silva is still better. Yes, Clough is much, much better in link up play, dribbling, passing, corssing and anything technical other than shooting the ball, but for a striker, André's strength and aerial ability were very useful. Not that Clough is bad in the aerial department, on the contrary, but his lack of height is not easy to overcome.

Feels like Diego Costa but with better passing.

I get bored quite fast on Master League, so I started another career. This time I'm managing Atlético Goianiense, a team that recently got promoted to the Brazilian Série A.

As this team is not in the game, I had to create almost everything, incluind kits and some players. A couple of players were already in the game, making it easier for me.

This was my original squad:

GK: Kléver, Marcão, Felipe Garcia

CB: Roger Carvalho, Everton, Ricardo Silva

LB: Romário, Wanderson

RB: Jonathan

DMF: Eduardo, Abuda

CMF: W. Schuster

RMF and RWF: Alípio, Negueba, Gilsinho

LMF and LWF: Lucas Crispim

AMF: Jorginho, Luiz Fernando

CF and SS: Junior Viçosa, Walter, Ayrton

I made three free agents signings and four loans on my first transfer window.

Free Agents: Chicão (CB), Fellype Gabriel (AMF), Jhon Cley (AMF)

Loans: Rafael Dumas (Flamengo, CB, can also play as RB and LB), Eurico (Cruzeiro, DMF), Wellington (Criciúma, DMF), Léo (Atlético Paranaense, RB)

This is my starting eleven (Everton is my starting CB, but he got a red card and Chicão is filling in for him):

My Copa do Brasil campaign: I beat Botafogo and Atlético Mineiro, but couldn't get past Corinthians

My Campeonato Brasileiro campaign after seven games (I have yet to face stonger sides):

I got this offer for my starting RB Jonathan. I don't want to accept it, but he won't renew his contract that only lasts until the end of the season. I might get money and buy or loan a replacement:

I also got this huge (for this team standards) $9 million offer for Chicão. It is a bit unrealist, as he is already 34. I'm planning on accepting it and buying a young CB with good potential.
