Are you supposed t swap the classic league with Seria A in the editor? Is that that how you get 2 classic leagues, or are they always separated?
thanks
Thanks man! Glad you are enjoying it.
I'm sure many would like a go with Classic Sunderland so please do make necessary changes.
Hi h777 / All,
Below is the link for the Classic Sunderland file i've created. Hope you enjoy it.

WI'll be trying this out later mate, thanks for sharing.
Dear h777, dear all,
Hard to describe in few words what your works means for us...
So I truly would like to thank you and all the community for the incredible job you've done here.
This is really impressive and brings the game to a higher level - never reached before. Everybody must know that.
I mean, this is the reason why we keep playing to PES whereas Konami takes us for douchebags by selling a game that is not finished and that we have to edit ourselves... (once upon a time, we could unlock classic national teams by winning the world cup with the corresponding national team, import our faces or design our logos... Damn, Konami, why the fuck can't we play with velociraptors anymore?!!)
I was used to create some classic leagues and classic teams almost since PES2, in which I remember creating AJ Auxerre and a "Ligue 1 classic team" from scratch.
But I gave up these last years, due to the huge amount of work required, and the constant changes brought to the edit mode year after year by Konami (to name a few : impossibility to import faces, many format changes to import kits making it impossible to reuse certain kits from one year to the next, space restriction...).
My last work was creating myself a classic league including clubs and national classic teams on PES14.
I've download your V1 and it is amazing. No need to talk about the players you've chosen to create these teams because you were right to make the teams as unbiaised and realistic as possible.
If someone want to add/delete a player from a team, he just has to create/edit it himself. I mean, I'm an AS Roma fan : in my opinion, Delvecchio must be in the team but no De Rossi and Totti who are still playing. But no worry, because I'm able to switch players by myself. I don't understand all the heated debates on this thread, I think that people who lack recognition should just make the changes by themselves if they're not happy with your version.
However, I have a question regarding the V2.
I've put the V1 instead of the Asian league. Therefore, I was able to have Bundesliga (instead of PEU league), MLS (instead of American league) and Classic League (instead of Asian league).
I thought I could put these 20 new teams instead of American league, but obviously you have chosen to replace Serie B.
Is there any way to import V1+V2 in order to keep Serie B and to put Bundesliga instead of PEU league?
This is more rational for me : this way Bundesliga is part of Europe, and the other "continental leagues" are used to host the 2 classic leagues (I don't really care about J-League or Liga MX or MLS since I never play with those teams).
Has somebody tried to do this way ?
Waiting for your reply, and once again, many thanks !
If I delete my edit data to install V3 and classic OF from scratch, what happens to my current master league? Does it crash... there are already players in there from previous option files.
Thx
Firstly, can i say a huge thank you for the time and extensive effort you have put into this file, its a true mater piece. It brings back my wonderful university days when playing on the old national and club classic files.
I have read the previous posts but feel i need a little extra assistance.
1 question i have is, is there a way to have V3 option file and the classics together. I loaded v3 then tried to load 22 of my favouraite classics individually into serie B. I deleted a bunch of serie b images and other ones which were not required (3rd kits in other league), then individiually imported teams 1 by 1 to serie B and it all worked fine with the Bundesliga still in tact.
However when i checked the Bayern Munich (and otbhers) the teams were all messed up and random, hwoever the classics where fine.
Is there anyway anyone can think of to have th ebest of both worlds?
Hey mate, thanks for taking the time to comment and offer kind words. Much appreciated.
I had sent pesuniverse v3 with all non compatible teams removed from their v3 file. (I'll post preview video below) All they have to do is make that available as a download. The only instructions needed with that file is to import classic teams last. Nice and simple.
I've been very busy with family issues over the last week. I'm also no longer affiliated with pesuniverse myself so I'm not sure why they haven't done this yet. The hard work is done and all they have to do is distribute really...
It's one of those things that I would expect to be done without having to instruct someone to do it. I'm only a tiny bit surprised it hasn't been done based on past negligence though, but really the option should be there.
At the moment I'm still pretty busy with stuff so I can't really write a guide to their option file but if the issue continues I will in future.

Hey man, thanks for the kind words and support. Great to have a respect of past editors . People have calmed down since the previous debates... This is football though. Never too far from red midst haha.
I don't know how you placed v1 in Asian league if I'm honest mate. Did it include mistakes? What your asking is possible it is just going to be quite a bit of work for yourself or someone else. We have all classic's in Europe so we can have a tiered division in Europe. (Swap PEU league with Serie A).
Great to read all the kind words from everyone, I'd like to personally thank h777man for his work on this file, I got involved after reading this thread and offering my services wherever needed and then went on to editing some of the teams in version 2. Me and another peshead (Donatoson) have been working on some extra teams to share if people are interested.
also have downloaded classic sunderland so thanks for that Slarkmeister!
Don't want to plug my youtube channel too much but I've started a massive champions league with all of the classic sides and I've not enjoyed playing PES this much in many years, these legends really do make PES2017 the greatest football game ever made! (Offline)
It might take me a few months to complete it but I will enjoy every minute. If anyone is interested here is a link to all the games so far:

ONCE AGAIN! THANKS TO H777MAN FOR HIS VISION AND WORK ON THIS FILE! FANTASTIC!
Hi mate, the minimum we can do is to thank you and the team warmly for this gift !
Regarding the v1, I assure I have placed it on Asian league by importing teams individually in the said league. It was when the v1 has been released, so several weeks ago and I can't check since I have done the Konami update and now, it's a mess.
The
But all the teams were complete and correct, no mistakes. Well, Zidane were in classic Manchester, right ?!
Joke.
I suppose swapping the PEU league and Serie A will not arrange my problems because I need two leagues for v1 and v2...
What if I copy each player? I guess there's not enough space to do that...
Thx mate

There's ways to do it mate, but like I said very time consuming. Essentially you would need a spare profile to modify to your requirements. It would involve base copying players onto new teams.
You'd need a 'clean' (export this) team from your main profile with the same number players as the team you intend to convert. Then you'd upload your clean team and one of our v2 classic's onto your spare profile. Then you base copy each player from our classic team onto the clean team. You can also go into edit team and save tactics. Then choose these saved tactics on your clean team. Once done export the team and apply the new clean team to you main file.
Everything else needs to be done manually though. Squad numbers, banners, manager etc etc. A smart move would be to make a short video of these other details to refer too once the team has been converted.
One piece of advice I would advise to anyone making new Classic's is too upload two versions. One version with images applied and one with no images applied. A squad with no images will not fuck up the blue print of a main option file image wise. If the goal is too eventually bunch up community created classic's, this will make it a lot easier
Are those your final lineups?
Are those your final lineups?
Pretty impressive work btw, although I have to say that there are some real weird choices for some players Don't get me wrong but as a Bayern fan it's pretty strange to see Sebastian Deisler there, while there are several Bayern legends missing there..
