Players Growth in ML

So, my question is, KONAMI improved players growth in PES19? I mean, I don't care about the regens, they grow fast as f..., but the players who won't regen soon, never grow stats. I mean, it was a little bit unrealistic that for example, I played with Arsenal and after two seasons winning everything, Koscielny was still 84, Mavropanos still 65-70, Xhaka still 82-83. I mean, in 4 seasons they grow 2 points and that's it, or they downgrade their stats, like Lichtsteiner or Koscielny. I know that downgrade is normal because of their age, but, as i said, it's unrealistic, cause Arsenal wins every competition they play, they don't concede goals, and the stats remain the same.

I would love to have something a little bit more realistic, like when Leicester won the league, every player was like 75-80 on their stats, and after winning the league, almost every player was on 80-85. That should happen on ML too. It was annoying to score 35 goals per season with Auba or Lacazette and seeing their stats frozen at 85.

That's it, just want to know if they improved it with non-regen players.

thanks man, really apreciatte it. But with youngsters is different, they progress really fast and can even top 90-92 in a few seasons. But for example, players who aren't from academy or youngsters, don't progress with time.

Example:
Granit Xhaka, Arsenal.
Season 1: 83
Season 2: 84
Season 3: 84
Season 4: 84

And, if I change my club and manage another team, then, surprisingly, the new manager at Arsenal develops him to 86-87...

No problem.
I created a 17 Year Old Alan Shearer. His Overall Rating has increased from 80 to 83 in 4 Months. This is way too fast in my opinion.

Getting back to your issue with players in their mid 20s... I find in all the other PES Games that players slow right down once they pass 25 years old. Then players start to decline at 29+.

Players' Playing Style needs to be taken in to consideration too. If a player is on "Balanced", their Goalkeeping Abilities increase too, but these don't have an effect on a Midfielder's Overall Rating.

I'll keep playing ML and let you know my findings.

Okay, I have had a little think about your query on the Overall Rating. I think we need to think about the Team Tactic Rating...

When I started to win trophies with my ML Team, I then used to go off and have spending spree on players who have a Higher Overall Player Rating than some of the players in my squad.
But when I would select Auto Lineup in the tactics section, the 90+ Rated Player would never get selected.
THERE IS A REASON FOR THIS... It's because of the Familiarity / Team Rating.

So, Xhaka for instance may be a really good fit for your tactics and works well with the players around him, but his abilities won't increase much more due to his mid 20's age.

But you try sticking Pogba into your side, he may end up playing like a donkey until he gets used to your tactics - which can take up to 2x Seasons (to get that really strong orange glow in Game Tactic Map).

So I am now thinking that it does make sense.

Therefore, I would take a Strong Orange Glow player with an 80 Rating rather than Pogba who is 88 Rated(?) but is bad for Team Rating.

One last thing.
You need to look at the other influential players in your team.
When certain players in your starting line up get to a certain level like "Maestro" or "Legend" etc. They can vastly increase the XP / Training Affects on some players around him who are also in the team. This is indicated by a glowing arrow!

I have experienced players of over 30 get an increase in Overall Player Rating due to having a "LEGEND" in my team.
