Goalkeepers : Physical Contact

This is the only ability I'm struggling with when creating goalkeepers.

What is physical contact when it comes to goalkeepers? Do FM have any equivalent and which?

This means physical contact with another player, for example on a high ball into the box when an attacking player challenges the goalkeeper for the ball.

FM has no direct equivalent, but it would mostly come under Strength and Balance. Personally I would combine those two and get the average to get your Physical Contact attribute for PES.

Thank you, I was using strength as kicking Power but perhaps that's just kicking.

There's no kicking trait for outfield players though.

PES-Master1, how do you map those FM attributes to PES attributes?

For example, what contributes to PES Speed attribute in FM?

It would be one or few from the followings:
 1. Acceleration
 2. Agility
 3. Pace

Do you take the average value of Agility + Pace and put it into Speed?

And Acceleration is X/20 * 100 ?

agree pace = speed...

its seem agility depends on height and weight of the players but not a ability anymore..
tight possession enhance smooth movement and protect the ball during possession at low speed.

there are strange findings for those gk abilities to on-field players, especially defenders,
you can have a little test if interested:

GK awarenesss - response of defender trying to block the shoot by a jump or sliding;
GK clearing - the logic the ball bounce after hitting the defender,
if high - bounce side or front, if low - bounce though and pass haha
GK reflex - response of defender to a cross or pass, um...it can be described as marking tighteness
GK reach - how much effect of arm movement of a defender affecting the rival during marking..
