After the recent update, players no longer restart to be able to edit them?

Does anyone know if there is a solution to this?

You mean this?
Yes, exactly. I have not updated for that reason.

I have a digital copy, I recently managed to recover 90 percent of the lost players in previous DLC. And I am afraid that this situation will affect.

I did a cleanup from scratch for the recovery of those players.

Before recovery I installed option file Pesfan but I decided not to update but now I don't know if I have my complete database. I have approximately 18,500 players.

But I don't know if, due to the lack of updating, I could be losing players and having an incomplete database.

I don't know if that warning message has any impact or could cause it to lose the recovered players (De Rossi, Barzagli, and approximately 120 more)

I knew that this situation was not normal, it will be a Konami lock to not be able to combine data for PES21.

That notice has been there for all players added with each update. We’ve always been able edit those players, you just can reset them to default.

Am I missing something?

ALL classifies them as added by update !!!! Even fake national team players.

I did an installation from scratch without applying live update and I don't get the warning.

I am not an expert on the subject, perhaps it is normal, but I do not remember that the warning appeared to ALL the players.

Yes you are missing. It is a bug, that even "original" players are assigned as "via Live Update". If you watch my video, David Luis, Kostas Manolas, Kepa and the fake NT Players of Mexico and USA were not added throughout live Update.

Ok, I see now. A small bug maybe. Don’t know why we’d want to reset players once edited anyway. Unless it’s a player whose face were making using base copy.

Yes indeed. First problem is basecopy, second problem, basecopy to fix fake NT players. Final problem, if you by accident edit David Luis for example, you can fix only staff that pes master has, you don't have any info on bodystyle physiqe except for height and weight and you don't have any info on motion settings.

Also maybe there is a conflict if you try to export OF, or import an old ". Ted" in the current version of the game.
And for new users. Many OF makers tend to edit the stats from existing players, which I do not agree and I usually revert them to default.

It’s normal for new players added in the data pack to have this. Original/default players shouldn’t have it.

I hope Konami aren’t in the process of breaking the game when there won’t be a new one this year. Just another update!

I wonder if we can export the team to the ted. editor and see if David Luis etc have the live update box ticked. Then if we untick it and re-import?...

I hope Konami gives you a solution to this, because this happened with the supposed last patch.

I'll be waiting for an arrangement. Realizing this, I decided not to apply live updates when installing a new Option File and the WARNING does not appear. I don't have the game updated at the end of the season, but it's preferable to not being able to reverse player data.

As @slamsoze correctly says this is a problem especially when trying to reverse players that in some Option Files increase or decrease their statistics without good judgment. Greetings to all!

I personally believe any stats converter for PES should produce outputs that are in keeping with Konami stats system. The gameplay is based upon these stats! I don’t like it when people input their stats, it isn’t always a good thing.

you may have found the solution here. Konami’s live updates don’t really do much anyway. So best to not use them.

It could be a solution.

I saw @slamsoze talk about this on Evoweb. I already made a report on twitter. Hopefully it will be taken care of by Konami.

And I think it is necessary, especially since many will continue in PES20 waiting for the 22.

I had the same idea too, but it seems to be a lot of players, you must export almost all the teams, also if it happens to Free Agents, I think you must sign somehow all the FA to a team, cause AFAIK TEDS holds only team data, not free agents. @75antoniog thanks for sharing on Twitter.

The only good side of this, if the Live Update is responsible, is that it can be simply fixed with next Thursday live update, on the fly, no need of 8.1 DataPack or even new patch.

I really plan to go with PES2020 for a long time. I don't intend to pay for 2021update at the moment. Maybe latter in the season, after I see others reviews and if I find a good discount.

Maybe this also explains the ML crash bug with DUMMY players, cause they had done the same during season, around DP 3.0 they had Haaland full implemented in database, but they had forgotten the Live Update flag on him.

If they did the same for other players, and some Of editors exported players in that period, maybe latter when it was fixed, users that installed that Option Files, had that database conflicts, that converted players to Dummies.

Just a crazy theory :)

We could take a few leagues each and work and bunch of us work together if the theory worked.

what we need is feedback from Konami on when this might get fixed.

Dude sorry to bother you but I must reply to a mail from KONAMI support. You mean that if you don't apply the Live Update, you don't have the bug, correct?

Amigo, lamento molestarte, pero debo responder a un correo del soporte de KONAMI. Quiere decir que si no aplica la Actualización en vivo, no tiene el error, ¿correcto?
[/CITAR]

It is right. Without applying the update, the message we are talking about does not appear in all players.
