Wondering if PES 2018 and 2017 are backwards compatible on ps5 all i know pes 21 is ,my ps4 died so i was thinking instead of getting another ps4 just waiting until the ps5 is more available in stores, if only i can play 18-17.

Only PES 2015 and PES 2016 will not work on PS5 -- All other PES games works on PS5.

Not sure why. Older FIFA games as well along with NHL games. It shows in my PS5 Library what’s games will only play on PS4 and those were the only 2 PES games listed as PS4 only. There were other non sports games listed too, but can’t remember them off my head at the moment.
