How do I give my mate my option file?

In the olden days on the PS2, I would simply transfer all my edited data off my memory card onto his memory card, and job done.

How do we do this on the PS4?

We thought it might work by saving my option file and edited data onto a USB stick.

But when he looks at the USB on his PS4, it just keeps saying there is no saved data.

What are we doing wrong?

You need to export all the teams and competitions you want to share into a USB stick. Each team will be a .ted file that will go into a folder called "WEPES" in your USB stick. Competitions are .ced files that will go into that same folder.

Then, give those files to your friend. He will need to have a USB stick with all those .ted/.ced files in that WEPES folder. If you are using any imported logos, kits etc. (.png, .jpg files or something like that) you need to include these as well in that WEPES folder for them to import properly.

So, basically:
> Go to the edit mode, Import/Export, then Export Teams/Export Competitions.
> Export everything you want to share, unfortunately the only way to do it is 1 by 1 so if it is a lot of teams it might take a while.
> Give those files to your friend, not forgetting any images you might have used on the teams (logos, kits, etc.). You can either give him your USB stick for him to import, or if he has a USB stick you can also send those files to him or just copy them to his USB stick, just make sure to have all those files in a folder with the name WEPES.
> On your friend's game, go to Edit mode, Import/Export and then Import Teams/Import Competitions to import all the .ted / .ced files. After doing that, your friend should have the same teams and competitions as you.

Cheers. Worked! If I want to play an offline game against the computer, I know I have to turn off live updates with the edited team. As my friend and I can’t meet up at the moment, is it possible to play as our created team online? I created a ‘room’ last night but our team wasn’t an option we could choose as we couldn’t turn off live updates. Is there any way around this? How can meet online with what we’ve created? Is there any way we can create and play a league/cup competition co-op but online as if we were sat next to each other? Apologies, lots of questions

I don't know of any way to do that. I'm afraid it is not possible, unfortunately I think the created teams can only be used offline.

Thank you for the advice, it worked!

We both now have the created team, and have figured out that to play as that team offline against the computer we just turn off live updates. But how do we do this online and play against each other?

As we can't meet up in person at the moment, I created an online room but our team wasn't there presumably because we couldn't see an option to turn off live updates whilst meeting privately online?

We just want online with all of our edited

How do we get around this?

Apologies, lots of questions

DVS, why ask Phillip again when he gave you the answer about playing online. Look at the his post right above yours.

Apologies, when I tried to post it originally, I got a message back “Oops! We ran into some problems. A server error occurred. Please try again later.” I’ve only just seen the response now as I had an email notification about it

@Buckshot the problem with server problem still occurs when posting editing, and it is very confusing for newer member, as we already have mentioned it
in the general topic. Also search function still doesnt work! :D

@DVS has a point here.
Sorry for OT dudes :)

I contacted the owner about site issues. I only have access to the forum admin panel and this is a server side issue.
